i always travel by p&o ferry to calais,i never had any problem in the past good value for money. Its nice and clean,plenty of things to buy in the dutyfree shop excellent fish&chips, i always enjoy when travelling with p&o.

Almost as smooth as I hope the crossing will be!!
Only one small hitch - when it came to the option of adding travel insurance, I was given a price per adult. But then it tried to charge me for two adults when I was booking for one adult and one child. Consequently I opted out when, had it been correct, I would almost certainly have opted in.

Clear and easy to use.
Having checked through a few other sites to look at ferry options, I found this one not only competitive with it's prices but also easy to navigate and look at date and time options...The proof will be in the pudding though! We've not travelled yet!

The only query i would have is is when booking the midnight ferry, it might be worth having a check box come up to confirm that it is the day you are after as I have been caught out twice on this and had to wait 24 hours in one case and pay the difference on the other. Just an idea!

Realy helpful
I needed to amend my booking to add a trailer. This went without a hitch (no pun intended) and I even got a refund when DFDS realised they had overcharged. All on a busy Saurday.

Scary having to input twice
Everything went smoothly until I came to pay. Visa, as it will, demanded verification, and when I was doing that, the site began again demanding all my details again.
As it was a machine and probably programmed by a geek and not someone reasonable like me, I obliged.
When I got to the pay section the second time I was informed that I had already paid!
Lo and behold so I had, without completing the Visa verification.
Something wrong here surely. Not impressed.

Good website seems to offer all the options clearly
I wasn't sure exactly which route I wanted to take or what times. The aferry website gave me lots of different ferry companies - and rail - at a glance, with prices. Easiest way I have yet found to find a crossing that suits me.

never received free goodies!
Booking service was fine but 3 weeks on I've still not received the free gifts mentioned on the site. As one of them was the GB sticker it now means I've got to go out and buy one Hey Ho.

Fast, efficient service!
Great service, no hold ups at the ferry port and was even allowed to catch the earlier ferry back from France, instead of waiting. Excellent service, would highly recommend!

ANNOYING!
Recieved a spam advert to say to book now for £19 each way to France but of course it NEVER is is it?
I booked anyway...but keep your annoying spam emails to yourself in the future....

lousy service.........internet no contact at all ..........just give us your opinion next day ?
Be extremely careful dealing with this online service,if you encounter a problem ,do not rely on recieving any return e mails !...or the 0800 number to call for operator assistance with bookings as they can only book a new ticket and through no fault of their own have no access to see if you have sent a previous e mail enquiry ???
i had a page open to buy a ticket which then froze....it returned to a different ticket time.......hard luck you loosebuy another ticket for 89.00 previous ticket was 39.00 ?
then a day later you get an email ...HOW WAS OUR SERVICE ? enough , go direct .....and still they want you to tick a box for privacy ?/

Book directly with wight link these a rip off broker!
Book ferry direct with wight link. Brought a foot passenger ticket as they wanted an extra 25pounds for me to sit in a car with my husband. I turned up at the ferry port and they advised that aferry are a rip off broker out to make money!

SUPER SERVICE
I made two ferry bookings on my latest trip and found the service really great.
Simple and straight forward for a very senior citizen and no hassle of trying to print out things like boarding passes etc.and no hassle checking in just give my name and booking number and off we go! and the prices were very competitive.

Easy to use web site and the booking was completed hassle free.
We had difficulty trying to book a ferry from Bari (Italy) to Dubrovnik in Croatia directly through the actual ferry company themselves. After some further searching on Google we found aferry.co and used this site to book the tickets. The site was easy to follow, quick and hassle free. As long as our tickets are at the ferry terminal when we get there later this year, I will be very happy.

quick, effective , responsive and accessible service
I spend a lot of time making reservations of one sort or another online. Frankly the process should carry a mental health warning as it could so easily drive one mad.
I strongly object to being made to waste so much of my time on functions previously carried out by a paid employee, but the costs of which are now on me.
So, a pleasant surprise to find an intelligent, active and responsive site on which to do my business. I tried a number of ferry options before coming across AFerry.co and found it so user friendly that I'd completed my booking and payment within around 10 minutes. A 'well done' for your web designer !!

Paper trail treasure hunt
I now have three bits of paper to prove that we are travelling to Orkney. The first has tiny writing in two boxes giving ferry times which are very faint and very small hence almost illegible. Just as well we've got the other two bits of paper but they don't give the details of time of sailing or of who is going.
No information as to whether we need any form of ID.

Unreasonable Charges
The package looked good value. I made a mistake on the outgoing date (my mistake). I rang the same day and was charged £25 to change it (they initially wanted to charge £50). This is easy to do. I was given excuses about P&O being in control of this, but that doesn't make such a charge for a same day VERY minor, 'seconds to do' correction reasonable, even if it is in the terms a customer has no choice but to agree with if they want to cross the channel!
