I always prefer to choose AFerry as is much cheaper then the other companys. Also they provide good services in general.
The trip is always on time, even when I miss ferry I still get another ferry and don't have to pay extra money.
I will always recommend AFerry to a friend. Anyway I've been told by my friend about AFerry. They recommended you to me.
I booked the ferry through AFerry and 24 hours later needed to make an amendment. They were very helpful and did this for me over the phone and then e-mailed me the new details.
Very Helpful and understanding.
Ferry prices to / from the I of W are extortionate and need to be reviewed by the Dept of Transport. Its about time they subsidised the costs - as they do with other remote locations in UK ( eg. the Isle of Skye ).
You know that we agreed on the dates for Franch, and I said leave it to me, well, there was a bit of a foul up. Aferry on the email sent a notice about discounts, or it could have been reductions, so I had a go. It all went well until the payment screen when it wouldn't accept my debit card. Yes, I know you lose the protection but it was about a fiver cheaper, and we've never had problems before. Anyway I switched to a credit card and it wouldn't accept that either; went round the payment screen about three times and still it wouldn't, and it's that really secure card from Lloyds that got us out of trouble with the Paypal hacker. So I gave up and booked direct with the ferry company, same card and no problem. Would you believe next morning there's an email from Aferry to say thanks for the booking and here's the booking details. Seems that their screen takes your money and tells you it hasn't. So there we are with two lots of tickets, two cars and two cabins. Obviously I phoned up, and to be fair they did refund the transaction and waived the cancellation fee. But it does mean that I probably won't use them again.
The booking was straightforward.
The prices from the different ferry companies are still extremely high during the school holidays, and a comparison page for similar crossings would be very helpful.

Tried to book a ferry dover Calais last night, 1st time the site rejected my card...! 2nd and 3rd times the site chucked me out after I had entered my card details, imagine my surprise when on opening ,my email this morning to find a confirmation that my booking had been successful...especially as a result of the "bomb outs" I had booked the same ferry using a different site!
Now the good part......one phone call to the customer service and after checking my story with their IT department my booking was cancelled, costs refunded.
Very impressed with this level of customer service perhaps not so much with the website.
I found that I could book my ferry crossing from Dieppe to Newhaven for a far lower cost than on other sites. This saved me c€60. I booked on line and it all went well, including booking a cabin for the return trip.
Clever and slick - AFerry's smart website is a breeze and will give alternatives to your travel options on your chosen date and around the same times. Checking with the operators' own websites confirms that there are no price increases but worth mentioning is that there is now a £1 surcharge on debit cards. However, this seems fair enough with the rock-bottom deals on offer at the moment. A day out in France with your car is a fantastic bargain, but you need to search for the best deals. We enjoyed a wonderful time at Lille Christmas Markets - highly recommended and very festive at this time of year.
An excellent website for buying ferry tickets. I used this to buy a ferry ticket from Korea to Japan. Very easy to use, located cheap tickets, provided a secure payment facility and email notifications. I'll use this website every time I need to book a ferry.
This fery dose the job.
Its there on time and deals with its customer care of duty on board. SAFTY FIrst. This shows you when partly though your trip getting off the boat should the need arise.
ALL CARGO ALSO ARIVES IN THE SAFE MANOR YOU WOULD EXPECT.
Once the decision to go was made, our trip was booked within around 10 minutes!!
Location was simple to find as were booking times. Each of the next steps were as simple as a b c and one lead into the next.
If only all trips were are easy to book!!
There are so many choices of bookings available, there is always one that fits your plans exactly, BUT unlike the others....
It's easy to use and every step is "User Friendly".
The best bit is still to come..........
They are cheap!!
I've been crossing the channel for many years and used many web-sites, but none are even close to AFerry.
The easy to use website allows you to vary destinations, start points and travel dates and times to ensure that you find the best deal for you.
amazing. I tried several times to book via the shipping lines website but evey time I was told fault on webpage. to call and book was 10 p per min and web chat was offline. An email was sent. by the next day no answer was received to email so tried Aferry website. Got a booking straight away, this was using less screens and also cheaper than the list price. excellent so far. Thanks
Although one has to wait for a while, once boarding starts it is quick and efficient with help at hand, if needed, with clear instructions. Seating is comfortable and, what is really important is, our dog appears to be happy too! .
Yep ,pleased to use Aferry ..Always a good price ....
I tend to forget to ask to be parked by the lift ...due to a disability ..
But I will remember this time on Thursday am ..
But yes no problem at all ...
The staff on board more than helpful ..and if my breakfast is a little too cool ,it normally is (must be saving on heating ). There is a microwave for us to use ...
Coffee sometimes loses its milk ...due to high number of customers. ..but no problem staff change with no problem ...
A ferry ...well done on prices ...stops me going elsewhere ...
Seems like the bookings are managed by a 3rd party and not directly to the provider (ferry).
Any change in the booking is then refferred to the 3rd party which charge well over a reasonable price for a minute change (even if called right after the booking to amend)
