I booked the ferry in a hurry on the morning of Friday the 27/09 /13 to continue to Frankfurt as I had a wedding on the 28th. Got there to find out I had been given Saturday the 28th!as my departure day. They gave me a number to call but the lady who answered was also not very helpful

We don't have any human intervention in the booking process, our customers use a drop down menu to make their choices. Plus all our customers have got a few opportunities to check their booking details up before they submit them.
As you have just admitted -you had made this booking while you were under the time pressure , therefore you made an error in the booking.
From what we can see our member of the customer support team tried to help you, but you refused to accept the help, and requested the booking to be left as it is .
