I rang the sales line to gain more knowledge on a washing machine advertised on their website. Every time I tried to get through to the sales 'hotline' the line went dead. After several attempts I decided to opt for the 'customer services' option where I was put through to a very rude woman. I enquired as to the features of the machine, she told me to 'look on the website it is all on there' I said that I needed more information than what was on the website and I was advised to look at the manufacturer’s website if I needed more details. In all, the operator was very rude during our conversation, very short, snappy and hostile. At this point I reluctantly decided to buy the machine anyway at which point the phone started ringing, I assume I was being transferred to sales. I let the phone ring for a couple of minutes, wondering to myself why I was still trying, I then gave up and put down the phone.
Next I phoned Appliance City, the chap there was very helpful, I bought the machine for the same price and it arrived the next morning! I wish I had tried there first.
I emailed Ajelectronics the same afternoon to let them know about my unsatisfactory experience, it is now three days on and I haven't heard back from them.
Ordered a Samsung stand alone fridge & freezer delivered within days, I asked for a weekend delivery when ordering, but this was not possible to do on the website, but I asked for this in the additional message box, seeing both my self and my partner work, week days would be very hard for us, I got no call saying this was not possible, I infact got a text message in the morning confirming delivery for the same day, lucky enough I was home due to the recent strike. The appliances are very good, but I would recommend AJ electronics to in future try and contact customers before hand for suitable delivery or give ample notice.
Ordered a Washing Machine on Wednesday, was delivered by 8am on the Friday and the delivery driver contacted me the day before and on the day to keep me updated on delivery times.

Item correctly described and best priced on website. Website process good although requirement for proof of address is more stringent than anywhere else we looked at.
Item (an LG Frdge / freezer) arrived on time on date as discussed but had a dent in the side so was sent back with the delivery firm for replacement. AJ's not really at fault for damaged item (damage occured somewhere along the delivery chain presumably) and were very prompt at tracking the item back and organising a replacement. New fridge arrived within 1 further week and was in perfectly acceptable condition.
Was impressed with the wilco attitude of the staff on hearing of the fault and the prompt action they took to rectify the situation. Would recommend this company both on price and customer service on the basis of my buisness with them.
I recently purchased an expensive large screen tv. I never normally pay for an extended warranty but as they had an offer of buy one year get a year free, I felt it offered great value for money so I did purchase.
My invoice receipt clearly states I have paid for a 2 year warranty, however, when Domestic & General (the insurance company) contacted me their details only stated a 1 year warranty. I went back to AJ Electronics to ask them to rectify only to be told I should have entered a code at check out (I wasn't told this at the time of purchase - I had made a telephone call to specifically check the offer details).
I am very disappointed with this, feel completely ripped off and I will be taking them to the smalls claims court - so see you in court AJ Electronics - your shoddy approach and poor service has led to bad reviews (this isn't the only one I will be posting) and a court claim against you - which trust me will be heading your way!

I ordered an American fridge freezer nearing 4 weeks ago now, after 3 failed delivery dates with reasons such as.... The goods were missed off the lorry & there is only one driver & he won't lift it into your house..... SERIOUSLY!!!! SORT IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!! This was after having to cancel my debit card after putting through my order online, as fraud was attempted on my card! Just a terrible experience. I have now ordered one from Appliances Online who reassure me i will not get the same treatment and my order will definately be with me in 2 days!!
Please be aware of the delivery time stated on product description page. The LG washer I purchesed stated 1 - 2 working days, and once purchased, got a text to say it would be 7 working days, they then had the audacity to charge me £15 to get it delivered in that time,( although it does state in terms and conditions, it may take longer).
Bought and paid for a Samsung 42" TV with this company. The transaction went through and my card was debited.
After several days the company contacted me requesting additional security in the form of faxed or emailed copies of utility bills. My bank confirmed that this was not normal.
Some time later the order was still not dispatched so I instructed them to cancel the order and refund the card. This in itself took too long and several phone calls to achieve.
