I ordered gifts for my son's first birthday on NOV 20. I have yet to receive my shipment and have had no luck reaching customer service via email. I'm very saddened as i am a first time customer and loved the selection at Alex and Alexa. I just didn't expect for it to take this long or worse not show up at.

Scammers spent £600 on my debit card with this company.
This company were more than happy to post the goods to an address different to the card holders address, and without the security number on the back of the card, what kind of company would even consider doing this in this day & age, they MUST have had serious concerns that this was a fraudulent transaction, but I suppose they assumed they would get paid regardless.
I am pretty certain they knew this was a fraudulent transaction, but they got paid their £600 regardless.
This company are a disgrace to online shopping.
Don't trust them.
I had been hankering after a Miffy Light for a while and my daughters move from cot to bed was the perfect excuse to give her bedroom a little makeover. The light is sat on it's own little chair and my daughters hugs her Miffy every night. We put it on 'night light' mode most of the time too and the Miffy stays on all night giving our daughter comfort. It's a design classic and I absolutely love it...as does my daughter!
Because u sent us 4 box and one of them is not right, you must sent 2 box for hair and 2 box for tooth but u sent 2 for tooth 1 for hair , and 1 cover for hair but box for tooth , and i buy it for preasant to my friend, so i can't give them itemes
This website has really good marketing with many gorgeous items for sale so I made my first purchase last month. At the time of order it was stated that delivery would be in 1-3 working days. After checking my order status a few days later, there was no update so I contacted customer service who told me that they would be upgrade my delivery to 'express'.
However a few days later there was still nothing so this time they gave me a Royal Mail tracking number which when I checked with Royal Mail was told that the number did not exist. By this time I thought I had been scammed by this site but after calling them and emailing them a few times I finally received the order. Which turned out to be a standard delivery so Customer Service had lied about upgrading the delivery to express in the first place when they did not even send out the items.
I wasted a lot of time and had a lot of frustration. Highly unprofessional website that I would never take the chance to order anything from again, considering that there are many other online retailers who deliver on what they promise.

I had a pair of Ash high top trainers that I had bought for my little girl. At the time I purchased them they were too big. When they eventually did fit in size they were too wide :( I kindly asked Alex and Alexa if I could exchange them for a more expensive pair of shoes and they flatly refused. I wasn't asking for a refund, just an exchange. These boots are still full price and still for sale, so they could have let me exchange them as I was willing to spend MORE on a pair of boots that would fit. I was patronised and asked if I had any "business sense" . Yes I have great business sense. I have three young children and love buying shoes, however I won't be buying any in the future from this company... Who has business sense now. One exchange would've meant a happy customer who would've returned to buy shoes for three children, but not now. Shame the customer service isn't as great as the clothes and shoes on their website :(
it's been more than 3 weeks / 10 working days and I have yet to receive my package. customer service did not reply to my further query after stating that the package is not trackable. short of saying there's nothing we can do so just wait and it will reach you eventually but we don't know when - i.e. be patient.
I have already, and I will keep doing it , informed my friends about Alex and Alexa! I love both the variety and the prices of clothes and I was also impressed by the toy section , especially the books! Gift wrapping is beautiful, could it become again free, at least in large orders?

Loved the choice & quality of items . However they sent the wrong item . I have returned it to be exchanged but I haven't had any commutation from A&A to say they have received it or are sending a replacement. Disappointed that I will have to chase it up.
Even more disappointed they processed a refund when the item is still available. I have decided it's too much hassle to bother re-ordering. :(
I now have four grandchildren ranging in ages from 8 weeks to 33 months and I have purchased many goods and clothes for the various ages with excellent results. Everything comes beautifully packaged and have never had a reason to return anything yet! Would definitely recommend you looking at their site!
These people are very underhanded. They have a .com domain and an American telephone number, they advertise "free shipping to US addresses" and "free returns." This is misleading in the extreme. The company is based in the UK, so ordering from them will incur hefty import duties -- about 17% of the order total. You will not be informed about those duties, a bill will just turn up in the post. If you return any of your clothes, you are responsible for your own shipping. "Free returns" means they will give you $30, which will not be enough to return the clothes to England. Moreover, despite returning the clothes, you will never get a refund from the customs duties you paid. We are suffering from the mistake of trusting these jokers, they should make it clear to their international customers that they are based in England and will ship from there.

I brought this baby walker as i had already purchased one before for one of my grandchildren because it is so well made, colourful & most of all very sturdy! It may be a little pricey but the workmanship & quality means that it will last as my other one has through two children with lots of use not just as a walker but play blocks, counting beads & used for sitting in with the other one pushing! My grandchildren love it!
I stumbled across this site looking for football boots for my son, and all I can say is 'wow' fast easy to use website, fast dispatch and fantastic item! Pleased is an understatement and the boots even came gift wrapped!?! Awesome!

I have always been purchasing from Alex & Alexa online for the past 2-3 years and they have never disappointed. Latest Quality Styles for my 2 young boys. Super fast delivery every time, gorgeous packaging... what more can one ask for from an online Children's Designer shop. I rate A&A highly and will continue to buy time and time again because i never have any problems, apart from that dredful 'Low stock' or 'Sold out' alerts... Lol
I began ordering from alex&alexa.com when I was expecting my daughter in early 2008. They were still a relatively new company then with exceptional customer services and super fast delivery. Now when I place an order I don't receive it until 6-7 days later even though it's advertised as 2-3 business days. The way in which they now process orders is so different to how it use to be. They've lost that personal touch. With hired staff now taking over the day to day running of the business it's all going down hill. On a plus note they still offer products from little known brands that are quirky and different.
I've found a number of beautiful items for my baby on AlexandAlexa however both times i've shopped i've had to contact customer services and the response was very average. The first time was when the item didn't arrive next day despite paying for the next day service. I had to badger customer services to get them to acknowledge the issue and then refund the extra postage charges. The second time i had a question about the fit of 'Tartine et Chocolat' clothing, after a frustrating 5 min conversation with one representative who kept telling me 'general sizing is on the website' (which isn't brand specific so didn't help) and saying she didn't know much about the brand i insisted i spoken to someone else. The man who eventually picked up was much more helpful and assisted with sizing. Just frustrating it took so long and the first woman couldn't have just said 'i don't know let me check' rather than wasting my time!
