After many weeks of traipsing round DIY centres looking for a quality BBQ at a reasonable price I spent time on the internet looking at the various deals on high end stainless steel BBQ's. I happened upon a company called Alfresia.com. They had the best deals that I could find after exhaustive searching. I decided to buy a Fire Mountain 4 burner stainless steel BBQ , I paid by credit card and I was very impressed by the speed with which they acknowledged my order and arranged for delivery. The BBQ arrived as promised and I am happy to say that it was exactly as described. I have been very happy with the purchasing experience with Alfresia and I would have no hesitation in recommending them as a reputable company from whom I would buy again without hesitation, thanks for a seamless buying experience!
Brought a BBQ two years ago, which had issues. The product was slightly damaged in various placed. They initially responded showing a concern and requested photos. These were sent on numerous attempts as they indicated they did not receive theme until I sent them individually, however after that I never got a response or even a confirmation they received the photos. The issues have resulted in fat draining down the side, and as of yet after 30 or so email and attempts to contact them, no response

Having just moved into a new property which actually had a garden I could sit in and enjoy, I went looking for some garden furniture, now I'm not internet minded or tech savvy but I did a search for some garden furniture and came across alfresia and after reading some of the reviews I was in 2 minds as to whether or not or should purchase anything so I decided to give them a ring, couldn't get through (not a great start I thought!!!) but a hour or so later a young lady rang me back and apologised for the delay, not a problem I thought..so I explained that I wanted a parasol and she advised on the 2.7 wooden one as well as a nice base to go with it, so I ordered over the phone and was told a couple of working days, arrived 3 days after I placed the order but then again it was late afternoon so that I don't mind and I was e-mailed with a tracking number so that was ok, very happy with my purchase, excellent value for money, customer service was great and very eager to help me out, I think my next purchase will have to the heater for the parasol and probably a new table and I know I can count on them to provide me an excellent service.
Ordered a Cadiz Conservatory Suite for my parents Golden Wedding.
Checked the reveiws after ordering and was slightly worried. Spoke to Alfresia to make sure all would be ok and they assured no need to worry. They said cushions take 10 days and goods would be there on time. Everything was arranged then my brother surprised my parents with cruise tickets. i got onto Alfresia to see if they could store the order and deliver at later date. They had already sent the settee and chairs but got onto the courier, i think it was parcelforce, they pulled back the goods and held them for one month. All at no extra cost. Wot fantastic service. They went above and beyond. Janet and Rebeca are especially the best to talk to, couldnt do enough. i don't normally leave feedbacks for online purchases but felt i had to write to express how great and helpful this company are. cant understand other peoples beefs. Would recommend Alfresia highly and hope to buy from them again soon.
I bought a Fire Mountain Stainless Steel barbecue from Alfresia and am delighted with it. However, after about a year one of the plastic wheels broke. I emailed Alfresia, and the next day I received a replacement wheel through the post. Absolutely top notch customer care!
The Fire Mountain BBQ Kitchen is absolutely amazing. Built like a a tank looks like it will last for years. Absolutely brilliant and at half the price from Alfresia of anything similar.. I dont write reveiws but this is brilliant so they deserved it.
Currently having huge problems with this company. They have delivered a table that looks nothing like the one advertised on their website. Not only that but what they have delivered is faulty, the screws are all bent and it cannot be constructed. The customer service is beyond useless, apparently a manager has to authorise any collection and redelivery of faulty goods but the 'managers' are always in meetings - always! I will update this review if anything positive happens .... like I finally get what I paid for!!
I bought two black and silver prestige fire mountain barbecues. These are absolutely brilliant and arrived the day after ordering them. I had to ring alfresia for them to explain where I was locating them and they gave me some really good advice. I also bought some small patio tables and chairs later these also arrived very quickly and we are really pleased with them. I would defnitely recommmend alfresia and will use them again.
The company failed to return my telephone messages. The BBQ was ordered on 19th April, took delivery 5th May, after numerous attempts of wrong or missing parts and damaged parts, as well as failure to deliver on promised dates.An attached photo shows a damaged part of the BBQ. I am waiting for the company to make good the BBQ, which was not cheap. The customer service so far has been shocking, and feel really let down.
The barbecue I ordered arrived within two days . The quality of their kitchen barbecues is amazing I could not fault it at all. Also their customer service staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone and steered me in the right direction. I would recommend alfresia and use them again.
Do not use this company under any circumstances. Trust me you'd be better off without the goods than run the risk of having bad experiences like me and those already described on here.
I bought a BBQ at the start of May. It is very badly designed and doesn't feel safe. It also poorly distributes heat making it impossible to safely cook food.
I have rang them on several occasions to complain and nobody ever answers the phone. And worse still they don't return phone calls. I have also emailed them several times with the same result - no reply.
I wrote to them almost 3 weeks ago by Special Delivery, but no acknowledgement has been received by me, never mind some form of response. I am about to write to them again to gain the information that I need to take them to Small Claims at my local County Court.
I am still waiting for - my goods, my money back, a return phone call or a return email.
I have ordered lots of stuff for my house over the internet and received very good results - until I discovered Alfresia! I cannot believe that a company today can work like this - unless they don't care. I shall be taking legal action to recover my money.
Although like, most people I have been on the end poor customer service in the past it's never been bad enough to warrant writing a review.

Ordered a barbecue in March 2010. As of June 2010 its still not arrived. This is despite phoning on the day of the order to check that the item was in stock. There website also stated the item was in stock. Quite evidently it was not.
Alfresia are un- contactable by phone or E Mail the majority of the time.
After months of un-answered phone calls and E. Mails. I am now taking action to recover the monies owed.
If you want the worst customer service you'll ever likely to receive, No Goods, and No Monies refunded, and months of aggravation place an order with Alfresia or Patio Gear, if not, don't bother.
Paid £320 for cushions on 20th April, web site said in stock for delivery within 2 days. I then received a confirmation with a delivery date of 4th May! .I e- mailed them on delivery day just to check all was ok and received a reply at 15.30 saying there had been a delay as material was out of stock. (I had taken a day off to await my delivery.)I Was then told that they were now made and that they would be with me by the end of the week!! I have tried to ring numerous times all I get is an answering machine saying leave a message or e mail. I have done both (numerous e mails) and no one gets back to me. I am disgusted with this company and will be going through my credit card company to obtain a refund from them.
Altho' I cant use it yet due to the weather, My mother bought some Alfresia garden furniture for Christmas for me. It looks really cool and sturdy and goes well with my decking. I now cannot wait to use it. Roll on summer!
I bought some cast aluminium garden funriture from alfresia having researxhed this in local garden centres and at major department stores . The table and chairs were literally half price from Alfresia . I was a little concerned but they told me they purchase all the items directly and even make their own cushions. Anyway they lived up to their promises. I dont normally write review but thankyou for a great product and service.
