I am a recent buyer with Aliexpress, i thought this was a professional sales platform which wanted to rival with Ebay, i spent a lot of money with them in 1 month, but i have since ended up with a lot of never ending problems. Here is just one of them. I ordered from a store called Shenzhen Perfect which sells flashlights, among other things. Owner is HuXiankong (Xiankong Hu) . I waited a full month after paying for my order, when nothing arrived home i emailed the seller who admitted he didn`t have the items in stock (he never notified me of this when i placed my order. During all the time that i waited thinking the products were on their way, i ended up with nothing to sell to my customers). After complaining to him he said he would send them right away. After 1 more month i received 1 defective Klarus light out of 2: its not waterproof (doesn`t meet the claimed IPX-8 rating of Klarus). I tried to get them exchanged, the dealer dragged his feet saying he cant go to Klarus because ``he is selling below the minimum price allowed by Klarus`` and said he never heard of defects before... I sent him photos proving this production batch have inner battery tube that are longer by more than 0.5mm than the previous ones. In my tests water got into the tail cap when running tap water on the light for 30 seconds. I asked the dealer for his return address 3 times, he stopped answering my messages. I opened a dispute with Aliexpress. He did not answer me for a full 10 more days until the very last moment when i escalated the dispute, then suddenly he accepted to give me his address and to reimburse me 2 lamps (another lamp in another purchase i made with him was also defective and i had told him i would open a 2nd dispute, which he asked me not to do, saying he would reimburse me 105.00$, so i did not open the 2nd dispute and i clicked 'items received' for my other order. And now he is running away with my money because, even though i had sent a video &photos to Aliexpress and they had accepted my evidence, a few days later, AFTER i told them i mailed back the defective lamps they said they 'closed' my dispute and liberated the payment to the dealer...! They also failed to answer MOST of my emails during the dispute... The very fake reason given by them was: buyer failed to provide his address to the seller, which is TOTALLY FALSE: i included a photo of the package with the post mark from Canada Post on it PLUS a photo of the shipping bill plus customs declaration with my address clearly visible on both ! The defective RS1A Klarus lamps serial numbers are: R2TE00557 and R2TE00846. After i complained about this several times to Aliexpress, they totally avoided to answer me, which means there is almost certainly corruption involved because the sellers on Aliexpress pay for the service for advertiziing their products there, thus they are the butter and milk of Aliexpress. I have been thinking about doing a criminal pursuit against them involved. Now from what i read here it is possible to file a fraudulent transaction with my credit card company ? If this is the case, good, i will investigate that. To anyone who is thinking about doing business with Shenzhen Perfect owned by HuXiankong (Xiankong Hu), DON'T, you will be sorry and you will lose your money. I will be posting detailled account and photos about this on specialized forums for flashlight users and buyers which have tens of thousands of readers, including many policemen. In comparison, Fasttech (another online sales plateform for lights) reimbursed me defective lamps AND paid my shipping cost to send it back. That`s what you call a honest, professional company. Aliexpress and Shenzhen Perfect fall in the exact opposite category.
But it`s not over, i ordered more items from another dealer (did not have problems during my first order this summer with them, but now they have not shipped anything and it`s been 3 weeks ! Their stated processing time is 10 days... I sent them a lot of messages, none of them were answered. They don't even have a phone number for their boutique at Aliexpress and no address... More details when i will get them. I will try to get this cancelled but the problem is you have to get the `permission: of the seller first... according to the system of Aliexpress...

i have purchased several items here, and that was a huge mistake. there are a FEW okay sellers, but too many scam and fraud sellers. if you are hoping to send an e-mail or call aliexpress.com to help you there's no need to look for their contact information because there isn't one. it doesn't exist. i had chosen to dispute an order i placed because the seller didn't send a large part of my order. seller claims he sent them but he didn't. i haven't bought anything from this site since then. unfortunately the horrible reviews of that seller only appeared after few days after the order was placed. when i chose the dispute aliexpress.com website shows that the company would answer your question within 24 hours or at most 1-3 business days. they only send a response 4 months later that the seller isn't accepting the dispute. they do this so hopefully by then you have forgotten about this, but the big part is it's difficult now to dispute with your credit card. aliexpress.com allows many sellers who scam and do fraud, and they allow them to continue selling even after numerous customers complain. the seller who scammed me is still selling even though his review rating keeps going down, and new complaints are still appearing after the other on the seller review page. if you ever have a problem with an order through aliexpress.com you should know this site promotes scam and fraud. don't believe their "buyer protection" because there is no such thing. they will take all your money without sending the product you purchased, and aliexpress.com won't refund you.
I ordered a pair of "authentic" Mykita eyeglass frames. I figured the price was worth the risk. I had no problems with customer service, the item came rather promptly (less than two weeks) although tracking it was not possible. It came US Mail. Alas, these are knock-off Mykita frames, not the real thing. While I am disappointed, I am not at all surprised. The quality is just not the same, having owned three or four pair of the real thing. It was worth a try, but these frames are cheap and flimsy. I would have a hard time believing that anything is real. It's all FAKE reproductions. If that is fine with you - then go for it.

Most of the items are similarly priced as on eBay.
Making a complaint and getting refund for faulty or fake goods is next to impossible.
One gets to deal with highly incompetent staff with poor language skills as part of the Dispute resolution team.
Not recommended at all.

Be cautious! If you are, you might try this out - at least in most cases you will get something (if that something is the thing you expected it to be is a different matter)... I have ordered several goods from this site. I even managed to get a refund once ($ 82 for a camera that was never delivered) but it was complicated and took two months. Usually all items are shipped as signed-for using a tracking number.
But: Most products are low quality indeed - do not rely on pictures or specifications, sometimes they are outright lying - e.g if clothing is said to be leather and stamped 100% real leather you can be sure it's rubber. Most brands and also the product/seller ratings are FAKE ("customers" are fantasy names from different countries all stating a short "excellent" or "good" with some, like every tenth or so, giving a more detailed enthusiastic statement). Do not trust any information!
For electronics it sometimes works to google the type number and look for prices and ratings elsewhere. If you know what you're gonna get aliexpress is pretty cheap.

My Case was too Simple i have Order a Mobile Phone $98 and with in 5 Days i got reply we will partially refund the $5 for Delay in Shippment as we cant sen u by DHL so plz Accept the Partiall Amount.
I ask for $20 which they Accept and Refund and Closed my Order. and Then there was no response from Seller and i submit compliant to AliExpress too about the fraud happening..They did reply after 2 days and said we are checking the issue are we are getting the fraud compliant.
The Big Question was when u Book any Order there is a ststus of Finished which was to be submitted by Client after recieving the Goods. But in my case after seller pay me partiall amount he Close my Order Status which he has to deliver the goods to me.
When i ask Ali Express they say we have ban the user as get fraud compliant.
My Question with AliExpress was that when we buy any Product Company says it will issue the funds to Seller until the product is Delivery and client submit the Finish Order. if its TRUE the how Seller can close my Order and without delivering the Product Company has Transfer the Fund to Seller and it Gone away with it.
So it Show the Company is Fully envlove in this FRAUD SCAM....

I did a lot of online shopping in many popular site such as EBay, Aliexpress, DHgate, etc. I can said that you can find about 10% more cheaper price in Aliexpress comparing to EBay. You will be happy to shop in Aliexpress until you found an issue. It's a nightmare because the buyer protection is the worst. They will never protect you or just try to help you.
I still shops in Aliexpress but I will never buy a expensive items and buy only from high rate seller. do not buy the clothes or something that you need to select. They may send you a wrong size and you cant exchange or get any help. If ebay have a same product but no much price different, I would prefer buy from EBay.
You also can try your luck in Aliexpress, but remember, it's no hope for buy protection.

However, I also doubt the development of Aliexpress and would like to know the opinions of buyers in foreign countries. I google " aliexpress ebay better" today and visit this web accidentally. I am so sad to find so many buyers don't like Aliexpress and think it's a scam. In business world, there always be many scams and bad businessmen. Anyway, I still have to trust Aliexpress can be more mature in future and there are always good sellers fighting and waiting for you, at least me.

Efter at have købt varer fra Aliexpress over 20 gange, har jeg hver gang modtaget varen, måske har det ikke altid været verdens bedste kvalitet, men priserne er også derefter!
Hvis man vælger en butik derinde, med mange handler og ser hvad de tidligere handlende har givet af feedback, er der ingen problemer, en nystartet butik med vilde tilbud og ingen gennemførte handler ville jeg aldrig handle med!
minus er dog også mange gange lev. tiden som tit er over en måned ved levering med Kina post.
Men alt i alt er jeg godt tilfreds med shopping oplevelsen!

Ordered goods on aliexpress and didnt get it - opened a dispute and escalated it but didnt get my money back - the disputesystem is fake - dont order there - aliexpress and alibaba never again
If you are going to use Aliexpress leave any feedback for purchases early as they give a very short time to do so. You can give the real feedback later by using the reply button. But if no feedback is left then no real feedback can be left later.
I wanted Aliexpress to be a good competitor to ebay because initially their prices are about 10% less than ebay. However, I have discovered after using it for a few months it offers very little security relative to ebay. As people mention here its just a gamble. Particularly if you buy anything too expensive. One problem is Aliexpress only allow 30 days to leave feedback. Ebay is 3 months. If a buyer gets too much bad feedback, they just relist the product and get fresh new feedback.
This protection is ironic as the Chinese sellers are often the most risky to buy from with poor customer support and need the strong arm of ebay to control them.
1. Never received package
2. Seller asked me to wait and very slow to respond, then completely non responsive.
3. I waited and emailed support which told me it was past the deadline for complaints.
4. I keep on emailing seller but no response whatsoever.

I contacted a company about making 17 hockey jerseys for my ice hockey team. I worked out a price for them which was a little less then I could get here in Canada... but a fair price going both ways. Because of the shipping I got a sizing chart from them telling me the chest, sleeves and length of the jerseys as well as how to accurately measure.
I had each member measure their favorite jersey and give me their sizing and numbers based on the sizing chart. I worked out my price with the vendor which happened to be 720 dollars and moved forward with the order. I found out a week later that they charged my card 842 dollars... when I contacted them they told me they were a reputable company and they would hold the rest of that money for my next order. First thing that went wrong.
I was given a tracking number for DHL when the order shipped and I contacted DHL which could not find it in their system. They did make a note on the tracking number that it should be held at the depot so I could clear it myself when I got back from a business trip.
When I got home, the package was sitting on my doorstep with a huge duty bill on it. Not only had they not done the customs paperwork properly, but they had even given me a fake tracking number to begin with. Not a huge deal, I took the paperwork to a customs officer and worked it all out. More of an annoyance.
So, I opened the package and found the sewing done quite well. They were actually quite nice jerseys... unfortunately they were not even close to the sizing on the chart. The chests were approximately 8 cm to small around... the sleeves were 12 cm to long and the length of the jerseys were 14cm to long. Also the armpit of the jerseys were so small that my elbow pads barely made it through, and with shoulder pads they were digging in so badly I could only wear it for 5 minutes.
I contacted the seller and they agreed they were to small.. here is a list of the excuses I heard:
- "No one can make it to those sizes" (so why send a sizing chart)
- "You are just a complainer"
- "It is on a national contact, I have no control over what they make"
There were many others.. but those were my favorite. I asked to return them and was told no, they were custom (even though they sell the same ones on their website, they are just Minnesota North Stars jerseys)
They offered me 230 dollars back.. which I said was not enough as they jerseys can't be used.
We went through their "dispute process" where aliexpress told me that there were 2 options:
1 - a 230 dollar refund
2 - return the goods
I told them that the refund was not enough... and I would like to return them.
After a month of waiting, I got a message saying that they were refunding the 230 (I should say that this is off the 842 not off the 720 of the original amount it was supposed to be). I was given no recourse... and no ability to do anything. I am going through Visa to try and get the money back which I am thankful that I started right away.
It seems that the whole point of the dispute process is to slow it down so that you get beyond what VISA can do, as they have time limits.
I will say... if you buy anything on this, have VERY low expectations and be prepared for a fight. I have done 2 deals through Aliexpress and both have been messed up... this one is just worth a whole lot more!!!!

I have purchased over $1500 worth of items over the past year. Yes it is a gamble, but if you have the money to virtually throw away, it could pay off. Just like gambling, it depends what you spend your money on. I have purchased stationary which was cute and well priced, arrived within the time required. I have purchased socks which were supposed to be for babies. I disputed them saying that they were dirty and some were sewn incorrectly therefore dangerous, accompanied with photos. They agreed to refund 50%. Happy with that. Now the electronic items are a different story. I have purchased small LED lights. The batteries were a different size therefore didn't last as long as described. I started dispute, received 20% refund after a lengthy discussion. After transaction was complete I received an abusive email from seller with more swear words than I have ever seen before. I reported it but never got a response, she is still selling. Other LED items from another order have arrived damaged and wet due to poor packaging and 4 months late. I spent $260 on these and after a dispute I was refunded $4.15. WHat a joke!!
I have purchased beads and fabric not a problem. I recently gambled $350 on a musical instrument. Not the instrument described, put in a dispute, still waiting........ SO basically, if you have money to gamble - go for it. But don't be disappointed if you end up with rubbish or maybe nothing. Don't even think if you send it back you will get refund because the postage is a killer and you have to pay for that. Can end up costing more than the item. No customer service. Good luck.!!! But if you find a good seller, stick with them. Also if you do dispute an order you cannot give feedback if you get refund, so don't even look at feed back, its not accurate.

My dear friends! Stay away from this site! You re not protected! Few days ago I took my wallet rom the post office and it is not real leather as was advertised.It is done from the bad quality artificial leather with unbelievable bad smell. You can not prove nothing.In dispute they try to make you feel like an idiot.Please take care about you money.I am happy that it was my first and I am sure the last purchase from this liers. Obviously ALIEXPRESS don't doo mutch to prevent sellers from cheating on this site. Many sellers do cheat extensively. For instance the seller SZ Toshinda DVR Camera Manufaturer (one of may sellers offering products at ALIEXPRESS) is obviously using fake buyers (eg. one Lucinda M, Brazil) to manipulate this sellers feedback score to a very high level. Further more this seller is cheating buyers in other ways, e.g. promising to resend a parcel beeing lost by China Post, if you increase your feedback score to 4 stars. Tehn tehy get the payment release from ALIEXPRESS, but the do not resend. ALIEXPRESS don't bother to help you out afterwards. You are just a small fish in a very big ocean. ALIEXPRESS is most risky. One word of warning. Never give a seller more than 1 star berfore you are 100% sure that you have received the ordered good in good condition!!!
I have had a few good purchases, but the frustration of finding a bad seller has totally overwhelmed any positive feelings I might've had for the site. Looking for a way to report the seller in question just led me down a rabbit hole of non-functioning pages; there isn't even a pretence of trying to police the site. eBay and dx.com offer much better odds of getting what you're trying to order.

First of all, you know you should be weary when the "testimonies" of satisfied customers with pictures, are pictures ripped off other websites :
Second, yes you may have a good experience here and there. But the important point is reliability. And it is not reliable. Even the positive reviewers here cannot say different. It's hit and miss and so far the odds are fifty fifty at best.
Sellers can and will swindle you. Forget about warranty at the end of the sale, the seller is free to ignore you and you have no recourse. Dispute "process" is automated and a joke. Anything outside their pre-programmed cases and you are on your own with someone that is not at all motivated by repeat customers.
They have literally thousands of sellers ready to find a way to manipulate the system.
It's a great concept, just very badly implemented. There is a reason they refuse Paypal now, because Paypal would intercede in the customer's behalf and withdraw payment is Aliexpress didn't respond. And well do you really want to take the odd chance of saving a few bucks, to get completely ripped off? Well flip a coin and those are your chances.
Okay, so I ordered a product from Aliexpress. Received a confirmation, and then a tracking number(like normal) ,the confirmation stated my order would be sent in 2 days. They sent me some info saying how it is so safe, that they don't pay the merchant until you receive your product(that was all within the first couple of days. But, that was the last of any information that I received from them. After waiting almost a month ,I tried to use the tracking number ,but it did not give me any help tracking the order. So, I tried to call, but they have no call info only e-mail. I then just decided to call my credit card company ,and my CCC refunded my money,( and they will dispute the order with Aliexpress themselves). MY CCC said that the delay could be because it is shipped from China , so it could come later. However,at this point I am over it. I don't even want the product anymore(to much hassle). Don't use this company, unless you like drama, anxiety and a lot of hassle involving your money and merchandise....
As a UK buyer of electronics I often use Aliexpress and I've had many good experiences. Of course this is not the lazy mans way to import, you still have to be very careful of whom you order products from. Please see some of my buying tips below for trouble free motoring on Aliexpress:-
1). Try and find buyers with near to 100% feedback as possible.
2). Check-out their feedback on the particular product you are sourcing, did it get good reviews from the people that bought it? was it as described? did it ship in a timely manor etc.?
3). Always always, buy only one sample first, to test your supplier and their product.
4). Do not negotiate away from Aliexpress unless you have built sufficient trust first.
5). Do not fall into the buying cheap trap, you only get what you pay for, especially in China.
6). Do your research and know your product thoroughly, most products have reviews on YouTube, watch carefully and compare ........ Do not buy from dubious Chinese links on YouTube.
7). Ensure your imports have the relevant certificates to allow import in to your country.
Above all, use your common sense It's not WalMart !
Different vendors - different intentions. If you are careful, you can buy a lot of good products at unbeatable prices. There is also a scam sellers! Identified by a low rating or lack of it! The site has a system to block payment to the seller until you confirm receipt - something like a dispute in PayPal.

Aliexpress indicates that you are entitled to a refund after 60 days. Nothing is further from the truth. I have had an escalated dispute coming up to 120 days now.
I was told to hang on another 5 days while they check with the supplier.
Why? We're clearly past 60 days. Supposedly 2 lots of goods were sent out but not a single package has arrived. Strange as many items ordered after this one on Ebay have. Another scam is for the supplier to request additional delivery time. This ensures that PayPal or your credit card company will no longer be able to help you as their time limits have expired.
Aliexpress is paid by the supplier and they work directly for them and defend them. NOT YOU.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ALIEXPRESS.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ALIEXPRESS.
You will simply be sending money to sellers who, by design, have no intention of supplying the goods. I only wish they had a "no star" rating.

Placed an order $300+. Got an emal the next day, that payment had been accepted. Got an email the next day -- order has been CANCELED! Went on line and was offered the opportunity to "verify" my payment by supplying enough information to make it convenient manipulate my bank account. These people are crooks. Forutanely my Credit Card company has me covered. DO NOT do business with these people.
Har handlet masser af gange på Aliexpress. Mange af sælgerne er oprigtige og ok at deale med. MEN når uheldet er ude, og det er det jævnligt (ved hvert 5-10 køb) er der absolut ingen hjælp at hente hverken hos sælgerne eller hos Aliexpress medarbejdere. Deres "buyer protection" er ikke eksisterende, og du skal kæmpe en lang og brav kamp for - hvis du er heldig - eventuelt at få pengene tilbage.
Det du sparer på et par billige indkøb taber du hurtigt de gange hvor du får forkerte varer - jeg har sågar bestilt handsker og modtaget juleklokker - eller varer af en langt lavere kvalitet end du havde forventet, eller til tider slet ingen varer, da det viser sig at det trackingnummer du har fået ikke eksisterer, og hverken sælgeren eller Alexpress er til at få i tale.

I ordered shoes for wedding. I was sent a different size, color and heel height and it has been torture dealing with the seller. The seller is unfair and really giving a bad name to this company. I am in the midst of a dispute; however, aliexpress offered me less than 10% of what I paid for a product that was purely misrepresented. I will never order from this site and I will never reccomend it. I'm going to do my best to spread the word about this site on Facebook, twitter, better business bureau and as many reviews as I can write!

I know there are a number of unhappy customers reviewing this company on the site; however, I can only say they lived up to their promise with me.
I ordered a LED light from Aliexpress and was amazed at:
1) The quality of the product.
2) the speed at which it arrived.
I read the reviews prior to ordering and went out on a limb. The product was shipped out 2 days after ordering. It was easily tracked via DHL and arrived eight days after I placed my order. The product itself was of equal or better quality to anything I had to compare it with prior to my purchase. I saved over $200.00 through Aliexpress.
I found the same light online and shipped from here in the States. It was going to cost nearly $300.00 compared to the $109.00 I paid at Aliexpress.
I have done 8 transactions with AliExpress now, all orders from China, and have had no problems. Transactions have shipped faster than expected, most within 2 weeks or less. I have only ordered beads for jewelry making and the price amounts have been relatively small, so I wasn't too concerned. I would be much more cautious about ordering anything electronic. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. So far I've been very pleased and will continue to use AliExpress for future jewelry making needs!

First time at AliExpress i bougth 10 Power Banks oke.. Afterwards there are a lot of flaws with the accessories i forgave him and completed the order. Later on i discovered that the power banks are not 2600mah as discribed but lower than 1000 mah and he admits like he is proud and told me that everybody is doing it and later on he told me not to contact him!! Be warned if you buy his products it's almost all power banks. 2600mah can mean in his words: between 300-1000 mah.
Jeg lagt 43 ordre af forskellige ting på aliexpress. Jeg har haft gode oplevelser med de fleste ordre jeg har modtaget. Har dog for nyligt modtaget en såkaldt iPhone 4S skærm, som ikke passede på nogen som helst af apples telefoner. Sælgeren vil have jeg sender varen retur før de vil give pengene tilbage. Skærmen og bagside kostede under 200kr og det koster 109kr at sende varen retur.
Der ud over har jeg modtaget fungerende iPhone 4S skærme fra andre firmaer på aliexpress. Hold øje med andres feedback på de produkter du kigger på, bliv ikke alt for skuffet når du modtager noget 'kinagøgl' med posten og hav tålmodighed når du bestiller levering via China Airmail.

I ordered a phone from this website which turned out not to be in stock. The seller states that if an item is not dispatched within 48 hrs a refund will be given. i have now waited a month and nothing has been dispatched. The seller refuses to refund me and AliExpress Customer services say theres nothing they can do. I suppose you can get lucky on this site with some deals, but the reviews are all made up, the customer service is non existant and it is very likely you will never receive your purchase. there is a reason you cannot pay with paypal on this site. I hope this review will save any others the grief I have gone through.
