great value, fast delivery!
Found sound insulation strip here, cheapest on the internet. Delivery charge was alot less than other companies. Speedy service, would definatly use again.

Fab product, reasonably priced, delivery on time
I spent ages searching the net for underlay and then looked at "All about underlay". I appreciated the write up on each type of underlay and based on this made my selection. The carpet fitters both commented on the high quality and reasonable price. I will definately use this company again.

Fair price, quick delivery, but...
...but, is it just me or is the underlay rolled inside out? Supposed to be layed paper side up but the roll is such that if you roll it out it is paper side down meaning you have to manhandle the heavy roll around. Not a problem though, still very pleased, just saying!

QUICK EASY TRANSACTION
Very good quality product with quick delivery, best price I could find. Contenplated marking down to 4 star only due to lack of communication as to order dispatched but decided that after a phone call to the company and an apology for this lack of information not to be petty. Would order from these again.

EXCELLENT - Even I can't fault them.
I don't normally write reviews, I expect good service and don't consider a company should get praised for the level of service they should provide. However, I believe that this company stand out from the crowd. The web site is easy to use and very informative (without baffling you with information you don't need). The prices seem competitive and even cheap compared others I looked at. The delivery was very prompt and charged at a reasonable rate. Yes, you could spend all weekend shopping around - but I found the overall package first rate. I will be ordering from here again and I will recommend this company to friends.

FIne - delivered promptly but only after I rang to chase.
I ordered and nothing happened - no delivery and no contact - transpired my card details were incorrect so my error - but you would have thought someone would email me or call me to flag.

If Carlsberg made Underlay suppliers???
The deal with the carpet fitters was that they supplied the carpet, and I got the underlay. Well I forgot to order the underlay so I needed a company that supplied good quality underlay at a reasonable price, but most important was it needed to be here before a certain date. They supplied just what I ordered & just when I needed it, & for that I am very grateful. Many thanks.

Exactly as ordered quick and safe
I ordered some carpet edging, they were a competitive price, my only criticism would be for a relatively small package the delivery was fairly expensive so buy as much as you can in one go. Very prompt dispatch and delivery, definitely a trustworthy seller.

Excellent service, fast delivery, would recommend
We ordered a roll of underlay at 11pm on the Tuesday and it was delivered on Thursday. Excellent delivery time!
The price of the underlay was much cheaper than any other supplier that we looked at and the fact that we have ordered a 15m2 roll means that we should have plenty left to use in the next room that we will be decorating in the New Year.
We haven't laid the underlay yet, so I can't comment on the quality of the product here, but the service, speed and price of AAU were great.
I would definitely recommend them.

Understand and commit to providing an excellent service.
I was amazed and pleased by the level of service I recently received by 'All About Underlay' we are currently working to a tight schedule. One of our rolls of underlay was inadvertently shipped to Exeter - fault of the courier. David was able to track the item and advise when it would be delivered, he followed the issue through from start to finish, and kept me informed at all times. Problems do occur, how you deal with them is remembered - I can definitely recommend them as a pro-active, friendly and professional company - thank you and well done.

Ordered on 24th November and still waiting on 3rd December !
In my case this my underlay order has taken much longer to arrive than it should have. Most deliveries these days take 2/3 days max. I wouldn't mind if it was free delivery but I'm paying for it.
I need to order some more underlay for phase 2 of our works but after this performance unlikely that I will get it from this company. Not very impressed.

Messed up delivery & damaged underlay
I ordered 4 rolls of tredaire red underlay for next day delivery. Unfortunately having waited in all morning it didn't arrive. Delivery was rearranged for Saturday but when I opened up the underlay two of the rolls were very wet.
They did offer to replace the two damaged rolls but I wasn't able to wait around for another day for delivery so have dried out the underlay and hopefully it will be OK!
Maybe I just was unlucky but I wouldn't use them again..

Good range, knowledgable people but only buy if you are sure...
I was happy with my purchase of sonic gold underlay for a wooden floor and it arrived when predicted. But then ... disaster as the instructions for my solid oak tongue and groove flooring said that solid (rather than engineered) wood floors should never be floated. I rang AllaboutUnderlay and the owner was very helpful - he even contacted the technical team within Duralay on my behalf to query pros and cons for me. So far so good but I decided to follow the installation instructions and secret nail the floor instead so I contacted AllaboutUnderlay again to arrange for a return. Unfortunately the price for shipping, due primarily to the item's weight, that they (and everyone else I contacted) quoted was so high that I would only have got around 30-40% of my money back. My fault for not studying the instructions in the first place and AllaboutUnderlay were very pleasant throughout but if there's a chance you might want to return the stuff, my advice would be to make alternative arrangements.

Underlay is big and heavy, though, which makes transporting it expensive. We try to keep our prices as low as possible with no hidden costs or extras, so we don't build in an allowance in case a customer wants to return any rolls.
We do agree, it is always worth making sure you have chosen the correct underlay before you buy it. You can also be sure that whatever you do buy will be priced much much less than a shop would charge.

Excellent product, helpful delivery driver and overall good service
Best price for the product, which is exactly as ordered.
After placing the order I received the now customary confirmation email one does. 4 days later I received a missed delivery notice through the door, which I did not get chance to organize a re-delivery do to extremely busy scheduling in my life with a new house purchased. However it would appear that the delivery driver was kind enough after failing to make delivery to my house to leave the item with a neighbor 5 doors down in my mews. this removed a lot of complications from my life and made the experience all the better.
The reason I believe the delivery took 4 days is due to the company moving to new premises and this caused some delay in the logistics, which they kindly kept me informed of via email.

I found your website during a general search, I found your website very informative, giving advice on the type, performance and insulation properties for example. I emailed you then to ask your advice on which I should go for and you replied promptly. As a result I placed my order and confirmation on the quality came from my fitters discussing amongst themselves, I then knew that I had made the right choice.
As you advise on your website, it is more important to select a good underlay, if you want to prolong the life of a carpet.
I received a courtesy phone call the following day of placing my order, just to let me know about your warehouse move, apologising that it would arrive on the Tuesday instead of the Friday, which I was fine about, because of your phone call, keeping me informed.

NOT Delivered when promised
I phoned to check delivery, after I ordered the underlay on the website. I was told that it would be delivered next day, as it was being prepared for delivery as we spoke.
I waited for the underlay until 4.00 pm the next and I phoned to make sure it was on it,s way. I was told that it was leaving one day late and I would receive it the following day, which I did.
