We have used Allclear for annual multitrip travel insurance for several years now. The website is easy to follow and the documentation straightforward. When I had a query about renewal because our policy was due to expire midway through a planned trip to the USA I rang the helpdesk and spoke directly to a very helpful man who reassured me and explained what I needed to do. Thankfully we have never had the need to make a claim but I have every confidence that Allclear's policy will cover all likely eventualities and if necessary we would find Allclear's staff helpful in guiding us through the process.
I was pleased to find this holiday insurance site after watching an advert on TV. It was easy to use on the website, although I did have to ring up to clear up a query. The person was extremely helpful, and I bought the holiday insurance from allcleartravel.co.uk.
I was both frightened and worried about the impact on my life of a medical diagnosis which seemed to put an end to frequent my travels. Then, the specialist told me not to worry. I then needed special travel insurance and AllClear provided me this. Their internet form was clear, unambiguous and easy to fill in. The information on my insurance options were in the form of a comparative table, so easy to decide and the decision was immediate. Importantly, my insurance, including my medical problem, was not so costly that I couldnt afford to travel (including the USA). I'm into my second year with AllClear, have travelled lots and fortunately have never had to call on the insurance for medical or other help. If you have a medical problem and want to travel this has to be the way to insure.
I've had a bypass and stents and was struggling to find an affordable policy for USA Questions easy to understand and policy sorted out without problems at a realistic premium. Don't know what happens if I have a claim, but it seems easy with just 1 phone number and a reference number sent to my mobile
I haven't needed to claim yet and have used this company for years. Cannot comment on how well they would respond to a claim.
I was recommended by a friend AllClear and found them to be helpful and courteous.
Bought a single trip travel insurance for a trip to the Caribbean, and declared all known medical conditions. In the small print, and not shown in the important notice at the beginning of the policy, you had to declare any changes in declared conditions prior to paying for a holiday balance. On doing this we were asked for an enormous additional premium, making the whole trip a nonsense. Seeing this as a change in the policy conditions we asked for a refund under the 14 day cooling off terms. This was not allowed, and after much argument they agreed to refer to underwriters for a pro rata refund. Bad enough to lose a longed for holiday, and our holiday deposit, but worse still to have such a dreadful insurance experience with a medical condition which had already been declared, and where our own GP was happy to declare that my husband was fit to travel.

They responded quickly and sensibly to a claim for illness in Thailand. There was some initial confusion on my part, during a stressful situation when my wife was taken ill, as to which number to call, but once that was resolved they handled the claim sensitively and efficiently, enabling my wife to leave hospital without my having to pay the bill, apart from the specified excess. No complaints, and I have already recommended AllClear to a friend.
I have a chronic illness and came across AllClear from an article in, I think, the Telegraph. I have found the service easy to use, and on the second occasion that I used it I was hospitalised in Spain for a week with Gastro-enteritis and severe dehydration. The hospital costs were covered without question and eventually, after a bit of a fight, the expenses of my brother who came out to Spain to rescue me were also covered.
I have since used the service on 2 further occasions and no 'surcharges' have been made. I would fully recommend AllClear to any traveller in similar circumstances to me.

I have found the service easy to use, and it allows me to be clear and honest about my health conditions without having to have long phone conversations with call center staff. It is quick, and easy to use, however could be improved with a text text box option for more unique conditions.
Hi, often we take travel insurance as an expense we could all do without and forget the real reason why being covered is essential and not having cover is simply stupid and places you at serious financial risk. The phase short term pain long term gain surely applies to travel insurance, in the short term paying the premium can seem a pain given all the other travel costs, however the gain comes in two directions, namely the cost is monor compared to the overall holiday cost, secondly being taken ill and having to worry about the cost is unesessary and easily avoided.
My advice is don't do without cover yourself day and night. Finally think that whatever happens insurance protection will keep you financially AAClear.
All Clear is a company who is up to date with medical progress. This reflects in insurance prices for travellers. I recommend you try them. I have had to pay twice as much for a months inurance than I have paid with All Clear
It was such a great relief to get insurance last year, in such a painless manner I had tried to get a quote for an annual renewal over the phone but that experience was not good and as a consequence I have taken only a 1 trip insurance It wasnt possible to do this on the web as it was before the renewal date.. The quote I felt for a similar policy this year was too high -my conditions are monitored and stable and whilst it was quite understandable after treatment last year-and the whole episode left one feeling vulnerable I will be looking at other options this next year.
The site was easy to follow and it asked for delicate information in a polite and pleasant manner. I at no time felt like a second class citizen just because I have cancer. I am hoping to go abroad again in a few months and will use the firm again.

Although it as not necessary to converse with this company other than 'buying' the insurance online, I found this a quick trouble free process. Painless experience, I found the system simple to understand and everything went through as expected.
Competitive premiums with existing medical conditions included in cover. Completing the on line form relatively easy compared with some other providers and on line help service worked well. Didn't have to make any claims so not possible to comment on that aspect of the insurance.

the company fulfills the needs of a lerge number of people who find themselves in a position where the risks are qunaifiable but most travel insurance companies do not have the expertise or desire to look at the sub standard risk.
