I have booked holidays with Alpharooms and it's really easy to do.If you have any problems you can e-mail them and they will sort things out for you.
I would use Alpharooms every time, they are the best value holidays and it's easy to complete the booking of either the flight, holiday or both together. Try them what have you got to lose?
Was picked up at 5.15 and arrived at airport around 7- flight not due to depart until 10.30, so a lot of unnecessary hanging around especially at that hour. Apart from that, driver very friendly and transport bus comfortable. Thank you
Cheapest on-line site I found and hassle free. Site was easy to use, Will definitely be using again and didn't once have to speak to a call centre person which was a blessing.
We have been using alpharooms.com for many years now and can quite honestly say that we have had no bother with them. Their prices are very competitive (we always check other sites). The Accommodation Voucher is always there and when arriving at our hotels they are always expecting us. The ease of their web site is great and easy to navigate. Would recommend to anyone to use.
I'm sure they intend to do things in a professional manner but if you need to know something don't expect them to rush to answer you. I haven't been on holiday for a number of years so just wanted some reassurance as to how things would work. I only wanted to know if they would send accomodation and flight tickets or if the flight tickets came from the airline. I asked on Monday. It's now Friday evening and despite trying again yesterday my query has been completely ignored. That in my opinion is very poor customer service.
Update: I finally got to speak to someone by calling their 0871 telephone number (curious that when I tried their 0114 number I was told I would have a 15 minute wait yet got straight through on this number - 0871 is more expensive?). However, the person I spoke to was professional and helpful, answered my question and apologised that my question hadn't been answered before, saying that they had been extremely busy. That's very nice, but I work in a job where we have an automated support request facility and if we left a basic question unanswered for 5 days we would be left in no doubt that it isn't acceptable.
I've since found that whenever you deal with anyone over the telephone they sort out your issues and answer your questions without any hassle and in a friendly and efficient way. It's only their 'Manage My Booking' system that isn't quite right.
Booked and was happy, received an email saying booking made with only the remainder of the balance to pay. Went to manage my bookings and there was no booking there, this means I had to call the pay number to enquire what was going on. I'm writing this as i'm on hold, again. Seems the hotel room hasn't been confirmed although that was not indicated on my email, some error occurred and they have to do it manually. If I hadn't checked manage my booking I would have been blissfully unaware that I actually accomplished nothing when I thought that I was fully booked and ready for our trip. There was no email sent to me indicating this and no means for me to use my "booking number" apart from calling the pay number. (5 more minutes pass) They have told me nothing is confirmed no flight either and that they have 3 days to do this, then they'll send an email. Looking at payments from my card they've taken only £25 so far. The email is wrong in many ways, saying i have paid the airline, I haven't, even the math is wrong!

If problems occur the buyer should be informed, the information given to them should be correct and there should be a way to make inquiries other than a pay phone number, otherwise it looks as if they are being deliberately obtuse to generate phone income. However, I don't credit them with this being deliberate, that would take to much forethought!
I am out the money spent while on hold and i'll never be getting those 25 minutes of my life back!
Hopefully by tomorrow i'll know if I've actually booked a holiday. If not back to the drawing board, with anyone but alpharooms.
When I made my booking I requested a room number but when my room voucher came it said no requests on it I got in touch with alpha rooms and was sent the hotel phone number and was told nothing can be done and phone myself will not use them again
It was very disappointed to arrive at los patos to find that we didn't have a reservation.They told as that we had been reserved at Puente Real hotel which we had to find transport to take as to torremolinos for 7 passengers because los patos hotel is in Benalmadena.on arrival at Puente real hotel they told as that we only had two rooms reserved and that we had to pay 150 euros for the third room until the reservation was cleared.we called alpha rooms for an explanation and they told us that they will call us as soon as possible and we are still waiting for them to call .plus this hotel didn't have free wi-fi .
After leaving our holiday shopping rather late this year, we struggled to find what we wanted at the right place. We checked so many sites including the high street to find anything decent. Thank god for Alpha Rooms. We found a 4* half board hotel in Mallorca for something resembling a decent price for a family of 4 considering how late in the day we had left it. We managed to beat other sites on price we had used previously by around £300. Searches and navigation on Alpha Rooms was easier to use and stress free compared to other sites.
Having used Alpharooms previously it was a no brainer that I came back again. I did shop around as normal (I'm a tight Jock) but again Alpharooms outclassed the competition.
For me it is the option of booking a transfer along with the hotel that makes all the difference when using Alpharooms. Most other sites allow you to book accommodation and then send you to another site to book transfers, I felt safer under the same search site booking all my requirements in one go.
The holiday was fantastic, the transfer spot on and I saved at least £2000 by not going with Thomas Cook or Thomson (other agents are available).
I would recommend Alpharooms every time for those that want to save some cash but still get a top holiday.
Booked a one night stay in a city hotel in the UK for 7 people. Very reasonable and hotel was lovely, posh considering it worked out cheaper than the neighbouring Travelodge. It was easy to book online, I paid a deposit amount to suit me, got confirmation emails, accommodation vouchers and the rest of the payment was taken on the date agreed, no fuss.
On arrival at the hotel (around 2 months after booking, and around 6pm), the receptionist informed us that alpharooms had not forwarded our requests on for neighbouring rooms, and had not told them that we had booked for 3 people in one room (one triple and two doubles). Apparently they did not offer triple rooms - despite the alpharooms website offering this and allowing me to book this. As such we had to wait 40 minutes whilst they found suitable rooms for us, and we ended up being 4 floors apart from each other. If alpharooms had communicated better with the hotel, we could have at least been on the same floor, and our rooms would have been ready. They had 2 months to tell the hotel about the rooms we had booked and our request to be close to each other, it's not as if it was last minute. I won't be booking with alpharooms again unless I just need one room for 1-2 people.
A nice site which we found easy to use and no problems when we arrived at the hotel. We did have to contact then to confirm the room size as one of our party has a baby and 2 kids. Generally ok to get through on the phone although the second member of staff we spoke to was far more helpful than the first! And we had our query dealt with. Considering the £48 I spent on hold with Thomas Cook the other year on the premium rate number to sort out an enforced flight change these guys are WAY better!
Booked via Alpharooms the week before we travelled and a few days before our holiday we were contacted with alternative accommodation because they had overbooked the hotel we initially booked. Obviously changes in accommodation a couple of days before a holiday cause unwanted stress so this was a clear negative. The alternative accommodation that Alpharooms offered was good however so it was a reasonable recovery but they were lucky as had that hotel not been available we would have been stuck with a refund and nowhere to stay. Also the transfer we booked via alpharooms was poor, we were waiting 40 minutes at our destination before we were picked up and on the return transfer we were dropped at the airport nearly 4 hours before our flight which is ridiculous.
Overall Alpharooms were reasonably priced but not that reliable in our experience. They did recover well with the alternative accommodation however I think this was more by luck than management. They also need to re-assess their transfer partners I think aswell.
As an employee of the hotel industry its always hard to use a travel site and know that they are delivering value for money. However, on this occasion I used Alpharooms after seeing a marketing campaign and I wasn't disappointed.
Very quick system, great choice of services and offers and a simple, clear and concise confirmation process.
All of my documents were received instantly and I'm all ready to have a great holiday.
I would highly recommend Alpharooms and have already been looking on them again for my next trip after this!

I would really recommend you to use this site, everything was there for you to view photos, previous comments of travellers the works. So much easier and cheaper than booking direct.
I recieved fantastic service from my very first phone call to my last, each colleague was very helpful, as i added a extra week to my holiday. Every detail ran smoothly form booking, to checking in at the Hotel Riomar, to the transfers each way.
Myself and my Husband has a really enjoyable holiday as we had no hassels with any of the services you booked for us. We will be booking with Alpharooms again.
Booked Hotel & Transfers – received prompt confirmations of bookings and a final ‘all booked up’ email the following day – nothing more I can stay at this stage.
Since I hadn’t used Alpha Rooms previously, for peace of mind I emailed the hotel a few days later for confirmation of our week long stay which they did that day - so based on that its 5 stars for service..
Just hope the accommodation lives up to the reviews.
I have booked hotels with Alpharooms many times and have allways been
happy with the service. on more than one occasion I have had to alter a booking
