I have used alpharooms numerous times over serveral years and have oly ever recieved good service in all matters relating to there service. From a very user friendly website to a very pleasant call centre I would simply always use and recommend this company.
I had never heard of Alpharooms previously and came across the site quite by chance, the booking process was really simple although it might be nice to have a small deposit option like other sites offer with the ability to pay the balance at a later date. We haven't yet stayed at the hotel I booked through the site so am unable to comment on any aspect of that, but can re-iterate that the booking process was simple and pain free.
We used Alpharooms to book the Siroco apartments in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. We booked a premium room to ensure we had a comfortable two week holiday that we'd looked forward to for half a year.
On arriving at the hotel, the receptionist informed us that our son was too young to stay in the premium apartments and offered us the standard apartments instead. On inspection, we weren't happy with the apartment or it's location so spoke to alpha rooms to get the rooms we'd booked. Initially they talked to the hotel to try and get an exception, but the hotel said no. The hotel said the contract had changed two years ago and didn't understand why Alpharooms were asking and found their attitude very odd. So I asked Alpharooms to find us another hotel of similar specification. After many hours of waiting and failed promises to call us back, eventually Alpharooms said there were no rooms in equivalent hotels on the whole island! So we paid for internet access and managed to find two hotels of similar spec within Costa Teguise within minutes. I then complained asking why these other hotels weren't considered. Alpharooms said they could book with these hotels, but not a 2 bed apartment! I said "so book two rooms", but obviously this would have cost them more, so they refused. It was Alpharooms cockup, they should have fixed it. I asked many times to speak to a supervisor but they refused. The Siroco receptionist had never seen a customer treated so badly in our her years working. A similar situation had occurred with other companies, but they immediately arranged alternative accommodation without any fuss. But not Alpharooms. All they were worried about was if they were going to be charged by Siroco, not our welfare. It was an extremely stressful way to start our holiday.
We were stranded on our first day and time was ticking on. Eventually Alpharooms offered us the standard Siroco apartment with an insulting £100 refund or a complete refund. We took the complete refund and checked into the BlueBay after paying for a taxi, incurring credit card charges and wasting half a day.
You don't want any hassle on your once a year holiday, but Alpharooms showed us that they are masters of incompetence and shoddy customer service.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
I have used Alpharooms twice now to book my hotel abroad. There has never been a problem and you can initial pay a deposit and then the rest of the balance nearer the time. I would recommend their easy to use website and I will definitely be using them again in the future.
If you want to book a holiday l can strongly recommend Alpha Rooms.

I've been using Alpharooms for a few years now, both for abroad and in the UK. I ahve never had a problem with them and their rates are as low as anyone. I particularly like the fact that for a given hotel a breakfast option is usually available, but if you go to a competitors site its just the room, at the same price.
Would strongly recommend using Alpha Rooms when planning your next holiday. It was the first time we had used this online booking agency but needed to contact the service by phone.. We found the call handler to be extremely knowledgeable in dealing with our query, was more than helpful and pleasant in manner.
we found the deals to be had much cheaper than your regular and more established travel operator and will certainly be using them again next year.
I called Alpharooms, I got a quote cheaper by far than any other site, the lady on the telephone was friendly and helpful, nothing too much bother. She gave me several quotes for friends as well and gave me a reference. I booked and it was very easy for my friend as they had a reference with a cheap price from the airport they wished to fly from.
I will use Alpharooms again, just wish credit card charges were not so high.
From checking in to checking out, nothing was too much trouble, helpful staff who make every effort to help your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. Drink prices can be a little bit on the pricey side but you pay again the surroundings made up for that. 100% will only be stopping here on another social vist.
absolutely brilliant. so stress free and it's done in an instant. none of this making your booking online and then waiting 3 days to be called back and told it had gone up by £100 or the rooms were no longer available. No, what you ordered was what you got. Payment was taken and all documents send quick as a flash. thankyou alpharooms, I had nearly given up hope of finding a reasonably priced holiday. We booked a week all inclusive at the Marina Delfin Verde in Alcudia, Majorca via Alpharooms and paid in full a month in advance. Despite receiving confirmation of the booking and room vouchers from Alpharooms, on arrival at the hotel, on August 5th, (which fortunately was at a reasonable hour), we were informed that the booking had never been received and that no rooms were available. Fortunately we were able to sort something out and stayed at their sister hotel, the Continental Park. Unfortunately this was more down to the excellent staff at the Delfin Verde, than to Alpharooms, whose alternative offerings were simply unacceptable, Their inability to provide an upgrade to 4 star accommodation by way of compensation, due to 'unavailability', was also not exactly endearing. Although the holiday was marred by this inauspicious start, especially with a 3 year old daughter in tow, we made the most of it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Continental Park. I am now waiting to see how Alpharooms will grab this opportunity to show how excellent their customer service is and convince me to use them again.
Looked at lots of different areas with alpha rooms as we didn't know where to stay. Very informative on all the hotels, and we used the reviews, good and bad, to decide. Good photos of accommodation and information on the resorts. All in all a positive experience with the best price.
Reasonable coverage of available accommodation, and you know in advance what you're going to pay, rather than leaving it until you use the accommodation, when the rate may have changed, or the hotel uses its own bank to change from the foreign currency to pounds, and charges you the commission.
However could still improve further by eliminating credit card charges. (Use a debit card to eliminate these.)
I tried to book over the phone at first, but after being in a queue for about 15 minutes I was suddenly cut off so that wasn't a good start. Instead I went online and I found the website pretty easy enough to use especially as I knew which hotel I wanted to stay in. I booked a long weekend away in San Antonio, Ibiza - flights, hotel and transfers. The amount of confirmation emails I had back in return was a little overwhelming from each of the suppliers and a bit of a nuisance as I had to print out so much documentation for only a short stay. Although I had documentation overload there was one aspect missing, the confirmation of advanced car parking at the airport. I had to chase alpharooms a couple of times for this information and did not receive it until last minute. On arrival at our destination, we had no problems with our transfers and checking in at the hotel, it all went quite smoothly. A couple of days into our stay I was a little disappointed upon realisation that the flights we booked were a day earlier than we previously thought. This was due to it being a midnight flight and probably more my fault than alpharooms, however I was certain I had booked a 4 night stay at the hotel so here lies some confusion, as it only turned out to be a 3 night stay it turned into a more expensive holiday than I thought.
Found the online booking very easy, however I did have to ring with a query and ended up booking over the phone. The operator was very helpful suggesting I put any requests on the application and happily they were met. I would have no hesitation reccommending Alphrooms for ease of booking and value for money.
Have used Alpharooms three times and been perfectly satisfied on each occasion. I certainly would recommend this company. It is easy to use. On one occasion I booked my flight and used Alpha rooms to book our room, unfortunately I booked room for different week to flight by mistake only realising my mistake a few days before flying out. Alpharooms were brilliant and rectified my mistake within minutes of notifying them. A very good company.
After paying for my 2 sons and 3 of there friends to go over to Gran Canaria for 3 nights , they today arrived at there hotel with there Accommodation voucher, proof of monies taken out of my spanish bank account to find that ALPHA ROOMS hadnt paid Dunas Mirador or reserved there rooms. After phoning straight away to the in Resort number they were told that as we are English residents abroad we can not use this site. I have used ALPHA ROOMS on many occasions over the years for bookings within the Canary Islands . I would like to point out that the withdraw of the monies came out of a spanish bank Account !!!! Have been with a Lawyer for 1 hour this afternoon sorting this matter out.. Which does not help my sons or there friends..So the big question is.. Would the MANAGER of ALPHA ROOMS like his kids left abroad like this. OK so I have paid again direct to hotel so the lads can enjoy the small holiday & I will leave the matter to my lawyer to go to court. Thank you for reading my review..
Looked online and was slightly confused by seeing what appeared to be the same room offered at four different prices. When I phoned it was clearly explained that the different rates were from different suppliers. I booked over the phone as the service was very good.
Having just come back from a 10 day trip to Malaga, Estepona, Elba Resort Hotels I have to say that it was a brilliant holiday from the moment I booked through AlphaRooms and EasyJet. The paper work was simple and booking for transfers to and from Malaga were a doodle All done through Alpharooms. The hotel was lovely and set in a lovely quiet location not far from the town of Estepona itself. There was a beach also literally a few meters from the hotel so all in all it met all the requirements that my husband was looking for. The flight was great both there and back, only negative was that the weather on return was back to the usual grey british welcome that you get when you have been subject to beautiful blue skies and plenty of sunshine.
Booked very last minute for a few days in spain, booked into the Reymar player, rooms basic but had everything u need beds, bathroom and balcony, rooms were clean, we stayed half board, food basic not great but not bad, was a bit dissapointed by the lack of English people there tho, all the kids in the pool were foreign, therefore my son had little to occupy him ( apart from me ) Went for the first 4 days in August,
Booking process ok, staff helpful enough but due to poor description of rooms we ended up in a Studio rather than something with a double bedroom. Every other on line provider clearly mentions "Studio" in the description for the studio rooms......take care as a "Double Standard" is actually a "Studio".......certainly took the shine off our holiday!?.................and to add to it no interest in doing anything about it afterwards....
To the response below............I did report it when on resort and the hotel was fully booked so there were no other options - I spoke with [private data removed]. Your Customer Services have since responded to say that the "Double Bedroom" booking was a hotel "Double Bedroom booking" and a Studio is better spec!? The facility involved only has Studio's or Apartments so for you to not even know what accommodation you are offering your clients beggars belief!!!!!! They don't even have what you are selling........!!!!!!
