Prompt delivery, polite Customer Service.
I was extremely impressed with the Customer Service when I telephoned with a query on delivery. Nothing was too much trouble. Parcel delivered promptly.
The solar feature itself is lovely but doesn't seem to run for long, which may be perhaps because it is not fully charged yet, although I have had it for a few days now and the sun has been out every day.

Product arrived on time and was as described.
I was pleased with the product but I did not receive any communication so was worried for a couple of days that my money had been taken but I was not going to get my goods it was only when I went back onto the site near my delivery date and could see it was going to be delivered that I felt assured. However, the product was in good order and I would use this company again.

First class value
The hammock bought from Altons was not only £30 cheaper than from a local garden centre but came without delivery charge and with a cover worth nearly £50. It was delivered on the stated day by a man who took it to my garage. Altogether a very satisfying experience.

It was a 25th Wedding Annv present for my daughter and son-in-law. It is a lovely fountain in their garden, which will be looked at often, and a great memory of their 25th.

Highly impressed with the service and price.
Purchased a Suffolk Punch 14inch petrol mower after phoning to double check that they had one in stock. The service was excellent and I was assured that three were in stock and that the price included delivery. The price was the best available, and following an online order the machine arrived within 48 hours, well packaged and brand new. Altons included a bottle of engine oil at no extra cost, and the machine also included a free scarifier. My old Suffolk Punch was over 30 years old and had served me well, and the new one with Kawasaki engine is a pleasure to operate. My first purchase from Altons, and rest assured as I could not rate their service more highly. Well done and thanks from a very satisfied customer.

relying on emails
I just gave my opinion regarding alton garden centre. It seems that my previous email had been answered by them and the answer was quite satisfactory to me. Unfortunately i never received their email and this led to the misunderstanding. I hope after an unfortunate start that my dealings and purchases with alton will be good, and
therefore have changed my star rating.

Faulty Goods
I have just received my parasol for my large umbrella but was so disappointed to find that the fabric had not been sewn together and therefore presented a big hole on the seam. I did telephone the company straight away and they are sending out a replacement immediately.

A perfect purchase
Having been let down by my local Garden Centre I found the lights I required on Alton's website.
Ordered Sunday, dispatched Monday and with me Tuesday morning.
Prices on both the lights and delivery were cheaper than I could find anywhere online.

A new swing canopy at last
Having trawled numerous web sites trying to find a new canopy for our particular garden swing we came across the Alton Garden Centre web site and found the exact same canopy. Ordered and delivered within 3 days. Brilliant. Alton Garden Centre web site now saved in our favourites.

After 4 days my order has not been delivered
My order was supposed to be delivered last Thursday before the Easter holidays, but it wasn't. I took the day off to wait for the delivery because Alton could not deliver to my work address. I wasted an entire day for no reason. I had to cancel my order. Alton should find a more reliable courier if they want to keep their clients.
