Ordered an item. Delivery was due 3-5 days. After 8 days I'd heard nothing further and after chasing was then told the item was due into stock later that day. I subsequently received the item whilst I was away - so at least 12 days after original order. If I'd known it would have been fine, just needs more communication.

Thanks for your email. Yes, we are very sorry about this order - we did update your account explaining the problem, which was that the distributor had sent the completely wrong items to us, hence the reason for the abnormally long delay, which was very frustrating. As you ordered a 3-5 working day item, we did not update your account straight away as we normally would for an in stock item, as we hoped to have the problem resolved before the 5 day period ended.
That aside, I would like to personally apologise for the delay, it certainly is not good enough and it will not be repeated.
