Always amazing service

I buy nearly everything from Amazon. Not only are they nearly always the cheapest but even if they are not I buy from them because I know I can trust them and the people on their site. I would recommend them to anyone. I once purchased a vacuum cleaner from them that didnt work. Not only did they arrange for pick up at once, I received the replacement before they picked up the dud one. Excellent.

Impersonal but functional

Ordered a set of expensive hair thingy's for the wife - she had been going on about them for a while.
Amazon were cheapest and quoted a short delivery time which suited my desire for a quiet life.

Came on time so no complaints. All a bit faceless and impersonal but like Ronseal - it does what it says on the tin.

Although I find myself continually using Amazon for many things I use daily, I find that for my years as a frequent customer, I've never been given any vouchers, any discounts or any sort of incentives to continue shopping with them. I suppose they have the monopoly on the market, but it would still be nice to feel like i wasn't just buying from a big faceless company who just wants my money.

I have been using Amazon for many years now and they have been great! Never let me down, postage is always very prompt after payment and I even have the app on my iPhone which is just the best! Was able to order a sneaky gift for the girlfriend while we were in a coffee shop and she was none the wiser as she thought I was texting a friend!

A lot of good deals on amazon as well as good delivery time make it a good source to buy from. If you have a problem, customer service is decent and return process is simple and swift. Even if you don't like goods, you can return them and you don't have to pay shipping nor return costs. Quick refund. Love it

It's rare for me to have to go elsewhere for small electronic items these days. Amazon service is invariably excellent, with reasonable prices and prompt delivery.

Technical Faults and total Disinterest - don't bother with Amazon

Amazon is offering a Bank of America credit card. I filled the online application form in very carefully but, haing filled in all the pages, it won't submit. Amazon simply pass the buck to the Bank of America. Bank of America won't take a telephone application and pass you back to Amazon, who, you guessed it, refuse to do anything about the technical problems. A huge waste of time. Whatever you do, don't waste your time on this so called offer.

Ipod arrived 48 Hours after ordering and communication was great. I use Amazon regularly and find their service and communication to be first class.

For mit vedkommende har det altid været en fornøjelse at handle over Amazon.co.uk af den grund, at priserne er lavere end de danske, og udvalget er stort. Jeg har f.eks. fundet dvd'er, som man ikke kan få i Danmark på den britiske amazon, og ofte bliver nye bøger og dvd'er også udgivet lang tid, før de bliver udgivet i Danmark. På den måde kan jeg sidde med med sæson 2 af en eller anden serie, eksempelvis Gossip Girl, og se den, når det passer mig, mens den stadig er ved at blive sendt på de danske tv-kanaler. Jeg synes, at informationen omkring levering og hvorfra varerne bliver sendt er meget overskuelig, og alt i alt har jeg kun haft positive oplevelser med hjemmesiden. You can easily find what you are looking for by simply typing the key words into the search box at the top of the page. When you find a product, as click on it, they also offer alternatives, so if the product you have selected is not quite right, you can view similar products quickly and easily.

Great store, expanding everyday

I remember the days when Amazon sold books and that was pretty much it. Now I find myself calling there as a first stop for most anything. With free delivery on orders over £15 and a great selection there's really no reason not to choose Amazon every time. My latest experience was a very positive one, with obscure American titles being dispatched and delivered to me within two weeks.

The only problem I have had is the high prices of some of their products such as computer components which can sometimes cost double what other online shops are selling them at.

I have ordered several items from Amzaon and have never been disappointed. Their website is clear and has good comparisons of different offers as well as customer reviews. I particularly like the online account facilities and order tracking. I have also used my address book to get goods delivered to my workplace and relatives's houses as well as home.
The goods almost always arrive before the estimated delivery date and I have never known them to be late.

I buy many things from Amazon, which are generally better priced and delivery is always reliable, quick and efficient. On the odd occasion that something is not right it is extremely easy to send back to Amazon and they do not charge until item is sent to you. The choices on Amazon along with the customer service, especially considering you don't actually deal with a human, is well worth recommending

I'd give TEN stars if I could!

I wanted to buy a kindle for a friend of mine in the US, as a gift. Of course, among the many online retailers, Amazon seemed to be the best and most trustworthy. I especially chose them because I assumed that they are the biggest and probably the best for US online sales.

Anyway, the order process was smooth and easy. I was updated on my purchase and sure enough, the product arrived 2 days after I had ordered - just in time for my friend's birthday.

Dejlig side.

Jeg har handlet på amazon mange gange og har aldrig haft nogle problemer. Der er altid meget at vælge imellem, priserne er gode (især når £ er svagt) og man får hurtigt sine varer. Husk på at priserne, der er vist, er uden skat.
Jeg har lige bestilt dvd'er på amazon og vil helt sikkert bruge siden igen.

Stort udvalg og sikkert handelssted

Har handlet hos amazon.co.uk løbende siden 2001, primært bøger, spil og dvd'er og altid været tilfreds med varerne og sitet. Betaling og levering har altid været i top, men priserne er ikke længere så konkurrencedygtige og levering og VAT gør det ofte dyrt, så man skal sammenligne nøje med danske (total)priser inden køb.

big company, big commission

Great for buying off, range of sellers, plus the amazon super saver delivery is good (albeit slow). Just be careful who you are buying off! If you are selling, Amazon obviously will get your stuff lots of attention, but not sure if you might be better off looking at more niche websites that allow you to sell your stuff. Depends whether you want a quick sale, or don't mind waiting to maximise your return

Billig og hurtig levering

Har købt masser af film og bøger på denne side til utrolig billigere priser i forhold til her hjemme i Danmark og de levere normalt indenfor ca. 4-5 dage. Man skal dog huske at kigge efter hvilket lager det bliver sendt fra eftersom Amazon arbejder sammen med andre virksomheder der ikke nødvendigvis er troværdige.

Faultless

I have dealt with Amazon for a number of years and I have never had a problem with them (touch-wood). Especially now that they have free delivery with all of their items, I really cannot fault them.

The only niggling detail is that it's not always easy to tell which items are being sold by Amazon themselves and which are being sold 'through' Amazon by other companies - to which the super-saver-delivery offer doesn't apply.

There should be more company's like this for fair trading

I have been using Amazon UK for years now and never experienced any problems with them regarding customer service etc.
I would highly recommend using them as they have a very good customer service and products are reasonable prices.
I will however mention that be careful when ordering online from company like cheapelectricals uk who have the most awful customer service imaginable rude and there prices are very unrealistic to say the least.
At least companies like Amazon UK care about their customers and most of the companies that use them value your custom and provide BRAND-NEW PRODUCTS NOT SECONDS OR REFURBISHED.
