I use Amazon about once a week on average and have never had a problem over several years of using them.
Great customer service, trustworthy sellers, effective marketplace. Great for academic and trade texts at competitive prices. Amazon vouchers are top of my Christmas present list, both to give and receive.
I have ordered countless items over the years from Amazon and never had any problems.
The only slight gripe is that prices for some products seem to vary from day to day..
so you can buy one day and the next the price has dropped, sometimes by quite a lot..
I love to shop on Amazon because the delivery is so fast and convenient. I buy everything I can at amazon. I am very pleased with my product and it far exceeds my expectations. Thank you again Amazon for another wonderful product and customer satisfaction!
A company like Amazon is only as good as the services they provide. Sadly Amazon charge for a Prime delivery Service but simply cannot live up to the promises they make when they take your money. Twice in as many months goods I ordered on the Prime account were not delivered on time. I don't expect miracles but I do expect to get next day delivery on goods marked prime next day when I pay so much per year for prime membership. Having been let down and highly inconvenienced by Amazons failure to deliver, I cannot be anything other than disappointed with them.
Touch wood, I have never had any problems with the regular orders I make with this company. They are efficient and put many others to shame. I don't even bother price checking items now as Amazon are always the cheapest. Shame about the minimum order value to get free delivery now but I just wait and order more than one product if my order doesn't qualify now.
I had a faulty xbox controller and and said to one of my gaming friends when it broke that it was okay because Amazon were so good with returning faulty items that it would be fine. They were like yeah yeah but I phoned Amazon and after initially telling me to get in contact with Microsoft which I did but they were absolutley useless. Didn't even know what a controller for an xbox was !! Then I tried Xbox themselves and after waiting on the phone I couldn't get through. Phoned Amazon back and within 6 mins had a replacement ordered and a package to send back. This is top class service! And of course I will now tell my mates that they should buy from Amazon. That is what good customer service is. Making sure the customer keeps coming back and making them happy and getting them to spread the word.

Den éne gang, hvor en sælger derinde snød mig (hævede penge uden at sende varen), havde jeg pengene tilbage på min konto inden for 24 timer efter jeg havde kontaktet amazon, og sælgeren blev lukket dagen efter.
Jeg vil anbefale amazon.co.uk til alle. Selv med fragt fra england er bøger/spil/musik/film ofte billigere end man kan finde dem i Danmark. Især engelske paperbacks og spil til PS3/PC er ofte under halv pris af den tilsvarende brugtpris i DK.
I probably buy something on amazon at leafy every month. their delivery service is top notch but I advise against buying stuff from sellers since they usually don't offer any warranty (happened to me for a pair of £60 headphones). Also plan in advance when you shop during the christmas because you might get a late delivery
I have purchased up to a 100 items from Amazon and find them awesome .
The CS is excellent and the items are well described and quickly dispatched ,they take ownership of the problem,resolve it and refund if required.
I wish other companies could work like this ,I don't even bother looking elsewhere to purchase stuff ,its that good
A product I bought became faulty so I got in touch with their customer service team who apologised and sent out another product free of charge for me. I was going to send them back the faulty product but they insisted I didn't need to do so. They even shipped the replacement out to me next day which is unbelievable. 10/10 for amazon and that's why I will always buy from them
very very nice people and very helpful too, I mistakenly signed up for an amazon prime account and after seeing a charge for £49.99 in my account i rang up expecting an argument saying it was all my fault but the woman on the other end simply said the money would be refunded no problems. very happy with them.
We love Amazon.co.uk in my family. Most things are cheaper than in Denmark, and when buying for over 25 £ from Amazon itself the shipping for Denmark is absolutely free. Most recent products we have bought is a certain kind of (brand name) brush for our dog, a device for cleaning bike-chains, a replacement for a broken silver necklace, KitchenAid-attachments and a Giro bikehelmet. All brand-name items that are just cheaper on Amazon co.uk than in Denmark - and delivered directly to the office where I work. It just couldn´t be easier. One time there was a problem with a third-part seller who shipped the product directly from Korea - which meant that we had to pay taxes etc getting it into Denmark. Amazon.co.uk immediately solved the problem, and we got a refund for the extra expenses.
When something goes wrong with order this is THE company to follow in regards with time and way they treat customer. Outstanding. I have dealt with Amazon.co.uk for over 8 years now. NOT A SINGLE ISSUE. Awesome. Of course, beware of marketplace 3rd party companies. I use them rarely and always try to pay by Credit Card rather than Debit Card. It keeps you safe.
I would even rather pay 10-15% more on Amazon.co.uk(sold by Amazon) for product knowing that if it goes faulty I will not have any trouble either replacing it or get a refund.
Some people can have dissapoint sometimes on any company! I had some,but they fixed it all very quick! I never had any hudge problem since I use them! 3 years ago! Delivery always in right time,and the price is good too!!

I bought an item from a marketplace seller and after 24 days of waiting I still have not received it. The seller has my money and is not responding to anything. Amazon is now investigating this but will take 14 days before I get my money back. What is there to investigate??? Why does it take 14 days??? For the first time ever I am disappointed in amazon.
I have been shopping at Amazon a lot over the last four or five years, so I know how they are to deal with. My experience with them tells me that they are both cheap and reliable. I have always received the good within the promised time - even though I live in Denmark. I have tried a couple of times where an item I bought on Amazon was defective (it happens, it is of course not Amazon's fault). In these situations I have written their customer service and within a few hours they create a new order and start the process of sending a replacement for me. All in all I will say that Amazon has never disappointed me, so I can only recommend shopping there.
Why it all depends on who AMAZON decide to route your PRIME delivery courier order with!
Many including DPD are excellent 10/10 which include regular text messages stating delivery in hourly slots - great
Many though are very suspicious in fact dubious - they will claim attempted delivery when no delivery attempt made...and even claim a card was left...when again no card left!
So if you are depending on a PRIME next day delivery it's a LOTTERY dependent on who AMAZON decide to trust your valuable order with....so beware that very important next day delivery may never get to you when you need it!
So you pay £42 a year for a delivery LOTTO service.......fine when it works and to be fair it does on many orders but there again as I have found on important orders it will let you down.....
Amazon do not care nor do the 2nd rate couriers when you complain!
I would recommend not ordering from Amazon if you want your product. I did and I paid for a next day delivery as I needed it for a presentation for an interview the following week. The product didn't arrive the next day, or the next working day or the one after that. Amazon weren't in a position to do anything as they have no service level agreements or contingency in place with the courier company they use and their attitude and the couriers attitude to this sort of problem is tough! They do refund the carriage but act as if they are doing you a favour and that's where there responsibility ends. In chasing I spent a fortune on the phone, was blocked from talking to management, didn't have calls returned when they promised they would and in the end was told to go and collect the items myself.
The whole experience was a nightmare and took away time I needed to prepare for the presentation and added pressure I didn't needs. A big thumbs down for Amazon.
