Basically its really easy to use & lots of products come up that I cant find anywhere else as well as being at nice prices. Used it to find some Dan Art canvas art that I saw in a shop on holiday which I found easily and at a better price!
Well, what can I say. Ordering is very easy (some say too easy) and there ends the ease... My TV arrived smashed, refused delivery and then proceeded to contact Amazon via a chat page. Firstly I was told I would have to wait 2 weeks for a refund.(Not happy) then after many exchanges got my refund put through on a 2 day. Then tried to order another TV. Tried to get some kind of recompense for all the trouble of the day (£5) whoopee!. Had to order another TV £100 more and promised a delivery upgrade. Contacted again and told they cant upgrade the delivery now TOO LATE 5 minutes after paying. Not wanting to bore you with line for line I can honestly says that as I'm sure they are great when things run smooth if there is a problem FORGET IT.

It seems like Amazon UK is not interested in keeping their customers at all. I've never had issues buying from Amazon and I can tell, I'm buying every month. But recently, it looks like there's not that much left that you can buy from Denmark. They just don't ship to Denmark. I've tried to buy a Canon lens, no way, "change your address" they say. Sure, of course, like I'm gonna move just to be able to buy from Amazon?!?
Tried to buy a studio lighting set...same mess. They don't ship to Denmark.
Tried to buy an E-book. You can't buy this E-book from Denmark due to copyright restrictions! Are you kidding me?? an e-book??? I bought it from "Kobo" without any issues and it took two minutes!!! It's simply ridicolous!!
After 10 years as a customer, I have deleted my account from Amazon. If they don't want to sell, there're plenty of other ways and places to use my money in.

Har anvendt Amazon flere gange og hver gang oplevet, at bestillingssystemet er særligt fedt. Man kan til enhver til tracke sin ordre og få info om, hvor langt den er i behandlingen.
Har et par gange oplevet, at en vare er blevet forsinket, men så har jeg fået besked og mulighed for at afbestille.
Kommer helt sikkert til at bruge Amazon i fremtiden.
Man kan altid få det billigere på amazon hvis man bare vil vente en uge på sin levering. Og hvis man har tid til at vente længere kan man ofte også få fri fragt! De skriver at varer med fri fragt bliver leveret senest efter 9 dage, men synes ofte det er efter 4.
Ordered a mobile phone case and although the communication was good, the item never arrived. I was told that new stock would be in by the end of the week. I waited 4 weeks until after my order and decided to request a refund which, in all fairness was prompt and hassle free. This company in my view is unethical and the service is so so.
I've used amazon quite a lot lately, because of my upcomming wedding. I have to say I generally find amazon better than e-bay, but however their shipping prices are often completely insane, and it's very stupid you can't sort products by price+shipping, as I would prefer... This is really stupid, cause sometimes you end up paying more for a cheaper product than if you bought the more expensive one with cheaper shipping. I guess one could go through the trouble of going through all the order confirmations before purchasing anything, but I don't think anybody with a life outside of online shopping actually have time for that... In this way e-bay is way better. But yea, shipping times and products have pretty much always met my expectations
Jeg har handlet fra Amazon (UK) mange gange. Priserne er lave, men man skal dog huske at prisen kan ændres (pga moms forskelle) når man har valgt hvor varen skal sendes henne. Hvis man har spørgsmål til et produkt eller en ordre, kan man chatte med en medarbejder indenfor få minutter. Er der problem med en vare sender de umiddelbart en ny (med 1-2 dages levering), og så skal man bare sende den gamle retur i samme emballage indendfor en ca måned.
Har handlet flere gang hos Amazon.co.uk, når det har vist sig billigere end danske butikker. Alle mine ordrer er gået igennem smertefrit, og en enkelt RMA gik uden problemer.
Eneste minus er at Amazon Kindle-produkter til Danmark skal bestilles fra Amazon.com, hvilket indebærer omkostelig individuel fortoldning.
What can i say about this company? quite a lot they always deliver promptly even though i use the super saver delivery option it always nearly gets to me in 2 days. I used to be worried about shopping online but when buying from Amazon UK, you can shop with confidence and in this day and age everything is 9 times out of 10 cheaper online which is also great. Its always helpful that Amazon allow you to read reviews from other customers that have bought the item so you can think twice before you buy.
I have to say that I am a very regular customer of Amazon - most weeks I buy something and I always go there first. On the whole, they tend to be the cheapest, although they're not always the fastest and their packaging does leave a lot to be desired. My last purchase really annoyed me however. I bought a game for my grandson - it had lots of little bits that had to be pushed out and put together before playing it, so imagine my disappointment and shock when I opened the box and it had all been done - clearly second hand but I hadn't paid a second hand price. I find this entirely unacceptable and think somebody had probably ordered and returned it, but nobody bothered to check the returned goods. That's my guess anyway. In any case, it has made me rethink my constant use of them. I didn't bother to return the game and just kept it, how many other people are like me and can't be bothered to complain? I think I will look elsewhere for products now and not just keep going there blindly. In addition, the bad press about not paying taxes has made me uncomfortable with them anyway. Why should I pay tax and they don't? So I'll be buying a lot less in the future from them.
I never usually take the time to review companies or products but feel so compelled to do so in this circumstance as their customer service is totally unsatisfactory. I ordered Fireman Sam headphones, from a reseller on Amazon UK (they go by the following names; Etwist / ABC-UK / Electrolve), for my friend's little boy's birthday, to go with a present my friend had bought him. When they arrived they were the wrong ones; Bob the Builder! They have offered a refund or replacement but would not send it special delivery to reach me in time for his birthday, even though it was their fault. No explanation, other than repeating; "Unfortunately we will not be able to replace this item before Wednesday". This will make for a very upset little boy. Running a website that serves over 1.4 million monthly visitors, I know a thing or two about customer service (particuIarly when at fault). I will NEVER order from this reseller again and urge and implore you to go elsewhere.
Everything i can buy on Amazon.co.uk is bought there, even though im living in spain delivery is still for free and always more reliable than any other online store i ordered from.
The only bad thing about Amazon is that they don't have everything (yet) so you have to use alternative shopping sites from time till time.
Whilst Amazon offer range and good service this must be seen in the context of uncompetitive behaviour through devious tax avoidance. This is not good for consumers. I for one look elsewhere for supply and find prices and good service are readily available.
Never had a problem with amazon i always try and order from them when i can. Any issues i have had in the past were sorted out within a day or so.
I have been using Amazon for years now and have never found the experience to be a bad one yet. Most of the time everything runs smoothly without a hitch. On occasion items have been delayed in the post but amazon have been helpful. Sometimes items have gone out of stock or there has been a problem with something I have ordered, Amazon have always been quick to resolve or refund. I find their MP3 download service to be exceptional and thoroughly enjoy the wishlist and universal wishlist features.
I would like to voice a concern to Amazon, I have recently heard that NDD items are now sent via Yodel. I urge Amazon to look at the shocking reputation yodel have made for themselves and hope they will reconsider who they do business with. A service with so many complaints will only do damage to any reliable business.
To begin with I wasn't a very big fan of Amazon as the website itself was very complicated, so after making an account I had not used it for the best part of a year. I decided to give it another go and I am very pleased to see that the layout of the site has gotten a lot simpler.
You can find almost anything that you want and a lot of things and brands that you had no idea existed, the site has a lot of third party traders so a lot of the times you will have to check reviews on those particular traders.
Delivery prices vary between traders and It is still a little confusing to who your buying from sometimes but at the end of the day the main thing is to get what you paid for.
A lot of the items on the site have very little or no description and so if your not to sure on details yourself it may pay to do some research.
All in all it's a great website and for all it's little faults is still fairly easy to use once you've gotten the hang of things and I have returned many a time and will continue to be a customer, would recommend to anyone.
Amazon have done the e-commerce thing very well for many years. I use them constantly and as a company they perform brilliantly and efficiently. I think any issues arise from localised problems with certain couriers and possibly their more recent third party shop front services which add a slight chance element to the shopping experience. I prefer to complete my transactions with Amazon directly even if a third party is selling the item for a bit cheaper as you get a better delivery and returns policy, or at least a much clearer one. Blasting a company for it's use of certain couriers does not take into account the full customer service process, so I have no issue recommending this company.
I needed a bit of extra money so decided to sell some things on Amazon. Biggest mistake!
I sold a few games for the xbox, dispatched the next day after receiving the order, if not then the day after. What else is good service? i then log on to withdraw the money I have gained only to see my account has been suspended for a poor review?? No one left any feedback. I hit all of amazons targets or exceeded them! I appealed the withdraw to sell that they put on my account as was told I would hear back by the 9th of Jan, it is now the 30th! I still can not access my money that I am entitled too and I cannot sell any thing else! What a joke!!!
Firstly let me say this review is about my experiences of buying directly from Amazon and not the third party sellers who also trade there.
I've been buying from Amazon for a number of years now, my purchases have varied from very low value to rather high value and I have to say I've never had a bad experience.
They 'almost' always dispatch on time but if you do get a snag then their customer service is second to none and easy to contact. They can't do enough for you and are always polite and helpful, they aim sort out any problems while on the line.
Their returns policy is nothing short of brilliant. Example: I purchased an expensive Macbook Pro. It arrived promptly, well packed as usual, got it going but after a few days developed a fault (actually not sure if the fault was mine) I was really worried because I had used it etc. but they were brilliant, providing pre-paid return postage and full no quibble refund the money was back in my bank in less than a week. I could go on and on about all the postive experiences I've had with them but instead I will just say that when I buy from Amazon I buy with confidence even with expensive items.

I'm buying from Romania - mostly books, music and video games, but occasionaly some other items, such as a wristwatch, some t-shirts, toys etc. Very positive experience. On the other hand, the prices are a little bit higher, because of the high Romanian VAT - 24% - and shipping costs. Not recommended for current purchases, however it has a lot of items that cannot be bought in Romania.
