if we are talking about online shopping the first thing it gets in our mind is amazon why?because it is the most trustworthy site for online shopping known there with so many stuff with low prices if you havent tried it yet what are you waiting for
So, the prices are not always the cheapest, but are normally pretty competitive. Thing is, you know you will always get the item - and if there's any problem they will sort it for you. It's almost as if they are an eBay seller scared of bad feedback. But it works, because I'm always willing to pay a few extra pounds to have it direct from Amazon. Less successful is the Amazon marketplace sellers, but these are indicated at purchase time so you can decide if you want to take a punt on one or not.
Have a prime membership as well so get free next day delivery on every order! If something is late, missing or broke they either replace or refund within 48 hours. They sell everything! I must order from Amazon at least 5 times a week and the service is always great!!
I got a message from my neighbour telling me he has my parcel from Amazon at his house. I was surprised and confused for two reasons.
1) I did not receive any sort of card or note telling me that my parcel has been left with my neighbour.
2) Though I was expecting many parcels during the week, I wasn't expecting anything from Amazon.
I come to find out that one of the companies I was expecting the parcel from, used Amazon Logistics to deliver.
I told my neighbour that I didn't receive any card that my parcel was left with him.
My neighbour told me that he found my parcel sitting OUTSIDE MY HOUSE IN THE RAIN. He took it inside his house to look after it for me.
I was so angry about this, luckily my good neighbour got to it before a thief did. My car, my neighbours bike and even my bin (yes my bin can!) has all been stolen from outside our property. This parcel contained a gift for someone! If it was stolen, there wouldn't have been any proof that this parcel had been delivered.
I was so angry, I looked all over the box to find out which courier was responsible. Unsurprisingly there was NO courier name or logo anywhere. I think delivery driver thought they would be untraceable because of this. So I called amazon & gave them the barcode number on the box. I found out it was their own- Amazon Logistics.
I've had bad experiences with other delivery companies but none of them have ever left my parcel(s) outside out in the open. I'll definitely avoid Amazon logistics
Left my parcel in the rain outside. On the same day I had deliveries from Hermes, Royal mail and Yodel and they all had the good sense to leave with a neighbour. Not a good experience. I only hope my Grandson's present survived the soaking box
Amazon er et godt sted og sikket sted og handle hende billige vare og fragt er hurtigt sådan er told og moms. Tak Amazon og DHL Express Under 80 DKK. > Du skal hverken betale moms, told eller udlægsgebyr. 80 -1.150 DKK. > Du skal betale moms og udlægsgebyr Over 1.150 DKK. > Du skal betale moms, told og udlægsgebyr.
Good things in online shopping is that you can choose what you want from a variety of products, and that you can buy a product at a cheap price. These two points are what I cannot find in street shops in UK (electric appliance shops particularly).
Plus, delivery is usually fast and packaging is satisfactory as far as I know.
I've shopped with Amazon UK for well over ten years. They were always the first and only place for me to shop online. Reliable deliveries, good prices, 1st rate customer service. Over the last 18 plus months they've deteriorated to the point where I now will only choose them as a last resort. The final straw is a back street bunch of cowboys called Amazon Logistics, who they now use for a lot of their deliveries. These pathetic excuses for couriers don't make those deliveries, tell blatant lies and try to blame the customer for their shabby service. Contacting Amazon Customer Service is like dealing with robots. They don't speak English well, in fact some of them are barely understandable. They just repeat the same scripted responses. It's not them personally to blame, it's Amazon's fault for providing customer service on the cheap. Amazon Prime? A rip-off, a joke. They expect you to pay £49 a year for "guaranteed" and "free" next day delivery. Then they just send your orders using standard speed delivery services! Prices? I used to believe Amazon were able to offer the lowest. Not so. It only takes a Google search to find other reputable online shops that beat Amazon on price and provide fast efficient delivery using professional couriers! My advice, based on years of experience and truthfully many thousands of pounds spent at Amazon UK, is to shop around. Don't fall for the Amazon hype. They are not the cheapest, they are not reliable any longer and they are a long way anymore from being the best. Even eBay is now more reliable than Amazon UK has become.
It is time consuming to get Amazon to send you a check for a sale made on Amazon. It takes 90 days after you have fisished an completely foolish payment procedure, and you have to remind Amazon - after 90 days - that Amazon shall send the check. So Danes, Sweedes an Norwegians: Never sell on amazon
I have been using Amazon for many years, I recently started using Amazon prime, and have been amazed at the speed and efficiency of delivery. The reviews on site make one more confident on purchases before hand and on the few occasions I've had any problem with the order Amazon have been wonderful at sorting it out no questions asked. I wish all online companies where the same.
Amazon have a great choice of stuff, no complaints regarding their customer service. However, because they choose to use such a rubbish courier service, Citylink. I have had to mark them down. Change your ways as you are losing customers!
I've never had a problem with Amazon and I enjoy their catalogue. A lot of other firms could learn from Amazon's example.
Edit: Had to solve an issue with a seller using Amazon, and the customer service to solve the dispute was top notch. I was impressed at how Amazon dealt with the dispute and I definitely feel more safe (with regards to customer rights) using the site.
