I'm very sorry to hear of the issues you experienced with your delivery, I can certainly appreciate the frustration this would cause.
We like to keep our customers informed as best way can on the day of your delivery, we understand that waiting in for a delivery can be tedious. Whilst our Driver's do try their best to contact each customer before delivery, they can encounter issues such as loss of signal or just simply get carried away with planning the next drop of the day.
I can certainly understand why you would feel the way you do as the Driver advised that he would call prior to the delivery at your Mother's property. I would be more than happy to look into this for you and have this investigated with our Logistics Team.
