Same old bullshit; apparently attempted delivery and left the invisible calling card. Arranged to have it redilvered; No show. No card. Enquired yet again and was told it would be dispatched the following day . Why not today I asked, (10 am) ,all the drivers have left. I went to depot 8 miles away to collect in person. No apologies, nada. How do these people make a profit? Unbelievably poor service.
Paid for a pre 10 delivery as the clinic had run out of botox. Driver must have hopped over fence like a ninja to post a card without ringing the buzzer for us to open the gates, even though our cars were outside. Made no attempt to make the delivery. Tried to explain the urgency over the phone but told tough you'll have to wait! Lost a lot of business and possibly some clients.
Not the first time we've been let down by APC. Another pharmacy use Fed-Ex and we've never been let down by them, only going to use suppliers that don't use APC from now on!
Had a table delivered by APC the driver leaned it up against the wall and would not wait for it to be inspected. The wife said the driver was very rude and discourteous. Always a good starter for customer satisfaction.
Strangely, the side against the wall had a large hole in the packaging and the table had a matching hole in the middle of it.
The supplier admitted he was unhappy with APC and was in the middle of changing courier. A replacement table was dispatched.
The same driver delivered the (undamaged) replacement and refused to take the previously damaged table back. I insisted as he had delivered a visibly damaged package.
He reluctantly took it, denying any knowledge of the previous visible damage.
APC evidently spend a long time training their drivers in customer skills and handling delivery issues in a sensitive manner.
Nevertheless, I am afraid I cannot recommend them.
We have regular deliveries by Hermes and our delivery man is a gentleman - never had a problem with them.
We use APC overnight for all of our deliveries apart from those classed as a large letter by Royal Mail.
They collect at a time to suit us and most of our deliveries are made by 12pm the next day wherever they are going.
With regards to price I have not seen anyone who can beat them. They offer 2 bag services (one up to 1kg and one up to 5kg) which makes them cheaper than Royal Mail and offer a better service.
We used to use UPS who in my opinion are the best in the world but are more expensive.
DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU READ. People will only complain when they get bad service. If everyone who had a delivery from them reviewed it on this site I bet their rating would be closer to 5 stars.
TO BE AVOIDED - Retarded drivers
Driver says he lives close to my street and he says my building doesn't exist.
Have had many other deliveries at this address, no problem.
Excessively expensive for the (non-) service they provide.

Monday after speaking to a very helpful girl Katy I think at the notts branch items delivered by 1300hrs Wednesday,driver also very friendly and efficient.Top class service
This company said they attempted to deliver & left a card when there was no answer so left a card. No delivery, we were in, no card! The company we ordered from were told they attempted to deliver 3 times. This company are liars & I will not be ordering from anywhere that uses them in the future!
They delivered my parcel to wrong building more than 1/2 mile away. Their excuse was it had the same postcode.
This is their comment " I am aware now, that the delivery was meant for the dealership not the factory but as they both have the same postcode the delivery address could have been more specific."
There are over 10 buildings with the same post code. So the excuse does not stand up.
They did not offer or give any discount for their error. I am moving my account and I will never recommend them to any one
I've been waiting since last Thursday for a delivery being handled by APC, but today I had to chase it up with them.
Both the people I spoke to, at separate Depots, were disgustingly rude. They lied, cut me off while I was speaking, and hung up on me. I'd admit to it, if I felt that this was deserved, but I was simply enquiring about tracing my parcel.
The first woman I spoke to audibly sighed at me when I said "Hi, I'm trying to trace my parcel?" and after giving her my consignment number, she then snorted while asking "I assume you want a redelivery?"
After I said I would like to arrange that, she then said "Then ring the depot near you, this isn't for us to deal with," and hung up on me.
After calling back, and getting the number from somebody different, the next depot was even worse.
After asking about my parcel again, the man on the other end of the phone insisted that delivery had been attempted, and I had been left a card. Apparently, they couldn't deliver my order as they needed security codes to get through to my letter box.
How did they leave me a card without access to my letter box? Well, they hadn't actually, so there's lie number one, which I questioned. He then admitted smugly; "Well, it's hard to leave a card if we can't get in, isn't it?" to which I pointed out, that he just told me I was "carded" on their system.
After asking why he didn't just ring the buzzer so I could let him in, I was cut off and spoken over with this line; "Look, the driver was there at 3.11pm on Friday. He would have rang the buzzer, but couldn't get past the glass doors." (There's a buzzer street side, before all security gates. Another buzzer, before the glass doors, and my letter box is on the OUTSIDE of the glass doors, so no buzzer needed!)
I said that I was waiting in, and would clearly have heard it ringing, to which I got this obnoxious reply "Are you in tomorrow, how do you want to do this? We can attempt delivery tomorrow, but I don't know when, you'll have to ring back tomorrow, is that all?"
After giving this rude man my codes, and phone number to ensure delivery, he then just promptly hung up on me.
I've made a formal complaint with the people I ordered from, and they're going to review their usage of this company as their future couriers.
I hope nobody bothers using this company. Absolutely abysmal.

Staff at the local depot are always helpful and friendly. If we ever have any problems they are sorted ASAP!
We use APC for our courier deliveries at work NEVER had a problem and the collection driver couldnt be a nicer bloke. If you use additional notes when delivering to house address's and put contact numbers to ensure they will be delivered you wont have a problem!
I have been using APC for 5 years after turning to them following using several other "bigger" named companies. There customer service is faultless and the delivery on time rate is unrivalled. Thanks!
Found a "you were out" note from APC on thursday afternoon so my wife phoned and left a message on their answerphone to request delivery the next day. I also went on their website (zero tracking information), and requested delivery the next day. Waited in all day friday, no package arrived.
Managed to speak with a very polite young sounding lady on their main phone contact number, and was told that it was their mistake, that it hadnt gone out for redelivery on friday and that they would (as a courtesy), deliver it before midday on saturday... needless to say, waited in all day and they haven't delivered. So have been on their website and requested delivery monday instead...
I am guessing it wont be delivered. If you are a business and you are considering using APC, think again, it could be very costly for you. If you are considering buying something over the internet and the company you're buying from use APC, think again, it probably wont get delivered and you'll have all the hassle of redelivery or refunds to contend with.

These couriers are without doubt the worst ones that I have experienced. Their tracking system is totally useless giving no information worth reading.....their drivers are surly, unhelpful, ignorant and rude and their depot managers match their drivers in all these respects. I have wasted several days now fruitlessly waiting in for their promised deliveries only to later read on their tracking system that no one was in to receive the delivery (a lie) or that the address could not be found (inept drivers?). Other competent couriers have no problem finding us but this unprofessional bunch just use any excuse they can to avoid driving that extra mile. The fact that there is no way that you can contact the senior management of this firm directly or that they do not have a Facebook page on which you can leave feedback just shows the multitude of failings that they wish to hide. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR....DO NOT USE THEM OR THE TRADERS THAT EMPLOY THEM!
Can't believe companies like this are in operation.An express meat delivery that they had sitting in their depot for 2 days.Spent all day waiting for delivery,only for them not to show up.Staff couldn't care less.Couldn't even guarantee a refrigerated van.Companies beware!,this courier firm will ruin your business.

Avoid this company at all costs - they are a terrbile company with horribly rude drivers, and a management that says things like 'its your word against ours'. Their driver pushed my wife and ran away with the plant he was supposed to deliver. Our neighbor even came out has she was shocked by his behavior and all of his ranting. It was just insane.

DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
In all my life i have never been so insulted by a company and then not able to complain to anyone of higher authority! After waiting in my home all day and calling the depot to find out when my parcel will be delivered, i logged onto their tracking system to find note left??????????????? I then called the depot number only to be told I WAS LYING!!!!!!!! and then to have the phone dropped on me. I called back again and asked to speak to someone of higher authority and again the phone was put down on me. I have been on their website to see if they have a contact us complaint system and obviously they don't because their service is so BAD!!! will make sure to tell anyone sending anything to me will not use them! i have lost a whole day now! for nothing!

Ordered some perishable goods to be delivered, they were not delivered and I was told that I was lying about being in the house waiting for them, I waited in 2 days with no one trying to deliver my item. When I wanted clarification about the delivery and why the failed card was not posted the so called Owner Sam put the phone down on my !! DO NOT USE this company has no idea what customer service is and can not be trusted to 1: Deliver an item correctly 2: Sort out the issues when they arise 3: Get aggressive over the phone 4: Put the phone down on you when their lies fall apart !!!

Had a delivery of live plant material from Rumwood Nurseries which was sent on a Thursday but only received the following Tuesday. The Apc driver told me he had tried to deliver on the Monday. Interestingly, he failed to notice the message on the package "If out please leave in porch", nor did he put a card through the letter box. I have to conclude therefore that (a) he cannot read very well and (b) he does not carry a pen. I had intended placing a larger order with Rumwood, but given that they use Apc I shall go elsewhere.

I ordered something to be delivered by APC 10 days ago...... Still waiting and lost in transit is not good enough nor is there abysmal customer service! AVOID this company!!!

My package was just delivered by a cycle courier who was very professional. This is my only experience with APC, and I am most impressed. Thank you very much.
Cannot fault this company staff friendly excellent communication :-) Especially the Bolton depot.

I've been using APC to send parcels to my customers for nearly 2 years now and we as a company find them to be very reliable. Our customers have not reported any problems to us. The local depots are owned by independent franchises and the only problems I have with our depot is due to paperwork. But that is down to the depot and not APC.
Package was supposed to be sent overnight. Still waiting for it three days later. Web site says delivery has been attempted, but it hasn't - took time off work to ensure I would be there, and no card through the door to indicate they have called. All other couriers can find the house, so why not APC?

From the intial phone call to ask if a could get a parcel delivered to Leeds, to the driver collecting my parcel and the gentleman delivering it to my friend in Leeds next day, it was an absolute pleasure. Have dealt with other delivery companies in the past and never had such good service. My local depot near Darlington could not do enough to help me.
Have already told my son to get his business to use them.
