I was unfortunately obliged to cancel my order just one day before delivery as a result of incorrect details being given to me. The Appliance Direct team was both understanding and helpful and a full refund was processed within a very few days. The entire operation seems to be extremely professional and customer focussed. I ordered a cooker hood that was delivered on time bit when it arriver it was damaged in transit. I imediately phoned them and they were so helpful and arranged for it to be collected on a day that was ok with me. It was picked up ok and after a week a new one was delivered in good condition. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends.
I ordered a portable air-con unit and it arrived promptly the next day. I accidently added two units to my basket and didn't realise until I got the confirmation email - a quick call sorted it out without any need to hang on the phone for ages.
I ordered an Elica cooker hood with remote motor. Delivery was very quick. It wasn't until a month later when the cooker hood was about to be fitted in my new kitchen that I realised there was a slight fault with the hood. I contacted Appliances Direct and heard back from the customer services team very promptly. They had to escalate the problem directly to Elica, but kept me informed at all times. Elica sent me out a replacement part quickly, but unfortunately it was the wrong part! Appliances Direct were very quick to contact Elica again for me and the correct part was sent out the next day. It's always frustrating when you discover a problem with something ordered over the Internet, as you never know how the company is going to deal with it. I was worried I would need to arrange to courier the product back etc before getting a replacement. However, Appliances Direct really made it hassle-free. Highly recommend them for their prices, quick delivery and outstanding customer service!
We ordered a new gas hob, and paid the extra for a selected delivery date. The hob arrived before 9am on the date requested and it was well packaged. Price and service were both excellent. Cannot fault them. Will definitely use again.
I bought an American Fridge Freezer from Appliances Direct. In truth, their online service is very similar to many others. I.e. it is efficient. What sets them apart is the quality of their client contact experience, i.e. the delivery team they use. This team was very efficient and very competent. There are obvious problems in delivering a large item to a domestic address vut this team handled these problems with care and courtesy. Well done!
I purchased a Rangemaster Excell cooker via Appliances Direct to be shipped for me to Barcelona, Spain. From the very moment I had amazing sales person Michael Wain, who not only source this model for me directly from manufacturer (at that point the company was not stocking them) but arranged extremely good and affordable shipping company. I had to wait for a while for it to arrive to Spain but that was again overseen by amazing customer service representative Francis. She was updating me, checking logistic with shipper and made it sure to arrive just a few days before my kitchen was fitted. It all worked on the end and I have one great peace of Britain in my Spanish kitchen! The only blip was in the beginning with accounts department but that was sorted quickly too. Highly recommended and am just getting ready to place order for more stuff from them. Thank you!
I ordered a product at 08.30 and received it the following day at 13.00, paying only £5 delivery with their Which trial (which I then cancelled!). Can't ask for more than that! Also, the product description was accurate and the reviews of it very helpful which means I have got the perfect product for my needs.
I ordered the dishwasher on Tuesday for delivery on Friday as we had plumbers in all week replacing the boiler and central heating and they said they would plumb in the dishwasher as well.
The plumber then said they would be finishing on Thursday so I contacted the company via the e-message service to ask if I could change the delivery date. I got a message back in 30 mins or so saying that this would be fine.
I got an text message the evening before giving me a time slot for delivery - the delivery was 20 mins early which was fine.
all plumbed in and working and my plumber said he is impressed with the dishwasher as well!
Overall very satisfied with service.
Paid £15.00 for fitting of a washing machine that I purchased from appliance direct, But the Chuckle brothers came to fit it. Barry and Paul managed to leave the washing machine un-usable, I had to source (at my own cost) parts and finish the job myself, The two guys didn't even have a hose-clip or an end-cap for a pipe in their van. Cost me an extra £6.50 at B+Q. He also kept calling me kid! which I found quite patronising.
They said they only had 1 hose clip that was for use in "emergency's" and that was the wrong size. God help anyone who rely's on these idiots in an Emergency.
Needless to say we Wont be buying anything else from Appliance Direct.
I ordered a Television from Appliances Direct on Wednesday 240413 via the internet, I paid for next day delivery, in the afternoon my wife contacted me to say the TV has not arrived, I rang Appliances Direct and I spoke to them and they said the TV would be delivered on Friday 26th April 2013, I requested to speak to a manager , I was told he was on another call, they took my contact number and advised me that I would be contacted before 17.30pm, by 17.00pm I received no phone call, I rang having explained the above and was advised that the manager will contact me before 17.30pm, no call received from manager. I received a call from the manager stating that there had been a problem with the supplier asking for an additional 200.00 pounds but he has managed to sort that out and that I could have the TV for the original price, and the TV would be delivered on Saturday morning having reassured me, as I was not happy being messed about. On Saturday the 27th April 2013, I contacted Appliances Direct pm, to ask about the time of the delivery, they said it would be definitely be delivered but they could not check their system, however if no delivery received then to contact them on Monday as their offices would be closing soon, no delivery received on Saturday.
On Monday 29th April 2013 am, I rang Appliances Direct stating I was not happy being mislead about the delivery dates, I was advised that they have sorted the problem out and that the TV would now be delivered on Tuesday 30th April 2013, they gave me a tracking number for the delivery, I waited until midday, I contacted TNT, to confirm delivery time, they said there was no such tracking number and confirmed that nothing had been picked up to be despatched to my address and advised me to contact the seller to which I did, Appliances Direct said they will look into the matter. I sent an emessage on 300413 via their website requesting a refund
I received a call from a lady stating she has got bad news and that the TV had gone missing and that TNT had lost the television, I requested a full refund and her response was I could not have a refund until the matter is resolved with TNT, I demanded a refund as I said the problem was between them and TNT, I then requested to speak to a manager to which she said I could not, she said I had previously spoken to the manager on Friday 26th April, I then said me and my family will not buy any further products from them, she replied ‘thats up to you’ I rang Appliances Direct on Wednesday 01.05.13 spoke to a man explained to him all of the above, he said he has checked their system and the matter has been resolved and I should get a refund today but the lady who is dealing with complaint is on lunch, she will contact me in an hour’s time, no call received. I rang on Thursday 2nd May 2012 and was told I cannot have a refund because of the investigation which is going to take 5-7 days, I said the man I spoke to said there should be no problem in having a refund as the problem had been resolved, the woman said well that is not the case, she said she has just checked her system and his notes states that it he advised me that it would take another four days, I said that was not the case and that he said I could have a full refund. She would not able to give me an update as I wanted to know why I could not have a refund she said I have already told you the reason, until the investigation is concluded. I said I am stressed, she replied by saying I just have to wait.

Good website, very informative, easy to compare appliances. Very pleased with oven (British made Belling) and Bosch Fridge-Freezer. Delivery was on time and carried out carefully. I would use Appliances Direct for future purchases.
Made telephone booking as online facility didnt give complete guarantee for next day delivery. Excellent transaction from phone booking - very polite and organised salesperson - and excellent execution of order - arrived on day required .
I purchesed a microwave and dishwasher that were the best value prices anywhere on the internet and received them within 3 days of ordering. Gave good communication and tracking of delivery process and all delivered and well packaged on the expected day. A .little disappointed that they choose to levy a 1% credit card fee when other companies do not but overall the transaction was smooth and reliable. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
Amazing customer service from Appliances Direct. I ordered a cooker hood which, unfortunately, arrived damaged. One email and replacement parts were immediately sent out. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part but again, one email and the correct parts were sent and received within 2 days. I even got a phone call to confirm evrything was OK and that I needn't return the incorrect parts. Am so impressed to have received such prompt and helpful after sales service.
This was the second appliance ordered recently. (Washing machine and dishwasher0 Both were delivered on time, very good communications both appliances installed and tested and old appliances removed. Very competitive prices

Ordered a significant amout of kit from Appliances Direct after shopping around: Oven, microwave, hob, wine cooler and a fridge freezer. Range of manufacturers is excellent and the pricing they provided on each item was the best around. They only lost out on our order of a Washing Machine and Dishwasher which went to the similarly named Appliances Online!
Anyway everything arrived on scheduled but the Induction hob was completely shattered. Then had to arrange for a replacement and the process was this was fairly straightforward although I did struggle to get someone on site to allow them to pick the faulty one up again.
Overall though a great experience and if only they could match the price on the new TV I'm looking at I'd buy it from them :)
During March I ordered a Fisher and Paykel fridge from them (£1,000+). I called their hotline to find out how long this would take to deliver as i needed it before Easter as we had guests. The gentleman i spoke to said it would be delivered on Thursday 28th March. I asked him if he was sure it would be then as i would need to wait in. he confirmed it would be and the email i received on purchased stated this.
The day before deliver was meant to happen, Wednesday 27th, i called to check and was told that they had not received the product so i would not receive it the next day - disappointment number 1!
Having guests with no fridge was pretty tough too!
I voiced my disappointment and asked to speak to a supervisor. She said i couldn't! Why not? i ask. No one is available, she said. Ok, i'll hold, i said. She said i couldn't as i can't speak to anyone. Why not? No valid response from her - disappointment number 2!
She said you could not be held accountable for delays by the manufacturer and we can't provide compensation for anything. This was the point they lost all credibility as they was no effort to help put things right. My tough luck - wait it out even though i had just paid £1000+ UPFRONT for something!
The only way I can complain she says is write a letter or email them. She send me details of the address to send the letter to but no email address. I replied back to her asking for the email address. To this date there has been no reply - disappointment number 3!
I asked her when it would be delivered and she said Monday. OK, come Sunday I can't get through to their line (Easter) so go online to check, it now says Wednesday - disappointment number 4!
Come Wednesday I am waiting at home for it to be delivered and it gets to about 3pm and no sign so I contact the phone line. The guy I speak to says it is out for delivery and will arrive that day. Having lost faith in them I contact the freight company personally who inform me that everything they collect from you is a 48 hour delivery so there is no way it will be delivered that day but i'd have to wait until tomorrow - disappointment number 5! He said that Appliances direct always get this wrong.
I therefore have to wait in all the next day and eventually the fridge arrives - it is DAMAGED (the side panel has two scrapes on it) - disappointment number 6!
Just to point out the date is now Thursday 4th April (16 days after ordering and 7 days later than i expected)
The delivery guys mark it down as damaged and I expected to hear from them to see what would happen. Still no call - disappointment number 7!
To be let down once is bad, to be let down 7 times is truly terrible and when everyone mentions how nice the fridge is I make a point of telling them that if they want one please never buy it from them.
Yes, they are cheap but in the end you get what you pay for
So they called me pretty promptly and stated they could provide me with £50 compensation and £100 for the damage. I said I thought that was unacceptable and insulting and they stated they would only ever offer 10% of the value as compensation irrespective of the issues (worth noting everyone).
They said they could collect the product and send me a new one but could not guarantee the delivery date (again) and in the meantime I would have to unplug and not use the product!
So basically i would have to accept their offer or again my tough luck.
They said if I chose not to accept i would receive the offer in writing within a few days anyway and i could take it further.
Surprise surprise - no letter has ever arrived!
I'm now in the process of contacting their MD Nick Glynne to see if we can get this sorted.

The customer care service at Appliances Direct is second to none. Due to having a new kitchen built and timings changing every week, I changed the delivery date for my appliances four times, three times via email. My emails were answered the same day and delivery dates duly changed without a quibble, with a follow-up confirmation email being sent to me shortly after. If only all businesses were run so efficiently, with the customer's needs being put first. Truly exceptional.
I bought a range cooker and a fridge from AD. I live in North London and the delivery address was my mother's house in Boscastle, Cornwall. The house has been unoccupied since my mother moved to a nursing home, and I am refitting it as a holiday let. The fridge took a long time to come into AD's base, which delayed the delivery date, which was then rearranged for an even later date. Finally, on 3 April, the Hi-Way Express delivery truck arrived. I had arranged for my letting agent to be at the house to receive the goods. The cooker was unloaded and brought into the house, but the driver said there was no fridge on board, and no paperwork for one either. My agent was asked to sign the proof of delivery form in two places, the second, he was told, was for the cooker installation. Ever since, Hi-Way have claimed that the fridge was signed for, and have resisted both my and AD's best efforts to persuade them to find and deliver it. Did the driver steal the fridge? Did someone else in Hi-Way? Have they just lost it? Who knows. What is clear is that Appliances Direct have no control over their own couriers. I am now having to consider other ways of recovering the £260 I paid for my vanishing fridge.

brill service ordered washer 1.30 dinner time delivered next day at 8.30 am was doing my first wash in it in less than 24 hours from ordering. will look hear again when next I need something. it was also a good price and no one else had one in stock or could not deliver until 18 th april

Ordered washing machine for delivery 5 February 2013. Paid extra for delivery on that date. The machine didn't arrive. I phoned Appliances Direct, and was eventually told the delivery men had no papers with the washing machine, so didn't know where to deliver it.
Rearranged delivery for 7 February, without being offered a refund of my next day delivery payment.
Washing machine arrived on the correct day, but drivers don't know how to fit it, and claim carpentry required, when it clearly wasn't. While I tried to get my neighbour to explain to them over the phone how to connect the machine, they loaded it back onto the van, and drove off.
I then spent the rest of the afternoon on the phone to Appliances Direct and their delivery company trying to sort out a refund.
I eventually received £255.98, having paid £378.81. They even had the cheek to charge me an extra £36.67 for collection and Hi-way.

I have purchased the LG washing machine and am more than happy with it.
It's a lot quieter than my old one and holds more per wash load making it economical and practical.
There are loads of energy saving features so hoping that this saves me money in the long run. The washing is not only cleaner but uses less detergent so saving me even more money.
More than happy with my purchase and would recommend the company and item to anyone thinking of purchasing a new washing machine.
This was the second time we'd bought from Appliances Direct and both times were delighted in every way. They had what we wanted at the best possible price and delivery was super speedy and exactly on time. The delivery men were helpful and cheerful. Great service and would definitely use again.
