Horrible in slough.

We were told it would be £50 total, but when my roommate signed when he received the order they left a bill for £80. No communication, no warnings about the massive increase... Though shopping at asda would be cheaper. It was my first and last time for me though. Do not recommend at all.

Absolutely hopeless

Paid £15 for 3 months deliveries and the two occasions that I placed orders they have not turned up. I have called today waiting for a delivery 4 hours overdue to be told they will not be coming. I have a 2 year old son who will have no breakfast as we have no car to go shopping. Shocking company to deal with and no customer care

BEWARE OF ONLINE PRICING POLICY !!!

When placing a grocery order online, please be aware that you may end up paying much more than the prices quoted!! It seems that buried deep within the Asda Terms & Conditions, you are agreeing to pay whatever they choose to charge you on the day of delivery, not the prices shown at the time of your order. This means that despite my total order this week coming to £81.88, I was in fact charged £89.80 when my delivery arrived. Absolutely disgusting, no more shopping online at Asda for me!!!!!

Disgusting Customer Services - Never again - no communication.

We have been doing our online grocery shopping with Asda for some time now but never again. We ordered our shopping on Tuesday with a pre paid credit card. The card was not authorized but instead of getting in touch with us to tell us this so that we could do something about it, i.e. pay using a different card. We heard nothing. Our shopping never arrived and when we phoned 2 hours later they said that we could re-order for another day and apparently they can only communicate on a mobile number and not a land line. They email us all the time but they could not communicate with us in this way either. No offer of money off or compensation just a long wait at Customer Services only to talk to someone in some far off land reading from a very bad script, Shame on you Asda, Asda price but very shoddy service!!!

CAN'T GET ANY WORSE THEN ASDA CAR INSURANCE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE

if anyone that is here on asda Facebook page is thinking about getting a car insurance with asda DO NO DO IT!!!!!!!!!it is the worse car insurance provider Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i am going to be posting it everywhere i can!!!!!! they do like to charge and take your money from a bank account after your policy with them is cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!ASDA CAR INSURANCE - BIG DO NOT!!!!!! always cancel your direct debit yourself, never trust asda customer service advisors they do tend to lie a lot!!!!! Terrible service, i have spent more then two hours of arguing and in the end i am not going to get my money back that has been taken from me when i've already cancel their policy!!!! PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THEM, BIG RIPPPP OFFF!!!!!!! poorest customer service ever and the most amazing you are not allowed to talk to the manager!!!!!hahahah how about that!!!!!

Very poor Customer Service - Lying to customers

Ordered a piece of furniture from the website on 26 Feb.
Two days later noticed they had dropped the price by £60. So rang up asking for a refund of difference or shop vouchers. I was told I would have to cancel and re-order at new price. Fair enough I asked for cancellation. I was then told the item had been dispatched so couldn't cancel and would have to refuse delivery.
Waited a week then checked order on-line, status was not yet dispatched ! Another phone call to Customer Service, this time told it would be cancelled and I would get an email in 24 hours and money back within 5 working days. ( in this day and age why can't companies give instant refunds ! ). A couple of days later, no email, so called back again, this time I was told Customer Services can't cancel, but only put a request into the Technical Team who ever they are, and that can take upto 72 hours to action. So another few days wait.
I then get an email last Friday saying the first part of my order has been dispatched ( I only ordered 1 item ! ). On the Sunday I get another email say all of my order has now been dispatched. I went online to track and the status was Delivered, but not all the order had yet been dispatched. So another call to Customer Services to get an update. This time I was told, yes it has been dispatched and should be with you Monday or Tuesday , but I will get an email update. Luckily I was planning a couple of days home so didn't mind the delivery timescales. Well it's now Tuesday night and no sign of an order or email, though I did get a phone call at 3pm today saying did I still want to cancel my order !!!

So no idea if it's on its way or cancelled !

Back onto Customer Services tomorrow, though I am not holding my breath, it sounds like an off shore calll centre and all the staff are working from scripts and can't or are not allowed to think for themselves

ASDA west end ( southampton ) ripping off confused pensioners

disgusting parking system that preys on the vulnerable with threatening letters... Will never shop here again , so you may have robbed my dear old friend of £40 but you will loose that amount x 1000 from us over the Years , [External Link] here we come and I will enjoy spending over the odds there with a smile on my face.... DISGUSTED.

delivery ment to be today 16/3/2014 left with no shopping and have 5 kids

I was ment to have a delivery today and I got my hour slot as normal never turned up for 12 so I rang them to be told the driver was running late. 1 hr later still nothing so rang back to be told the had a technical fault this morning and my shopping won't be delivered until tomorrow I have children 2 of them are babies a 1 yr old and one 9 mths told asda this and that my babies food and nappies are in with my shopping but still will not deliver til tomorrow. I will never do online shop with them again their fault yet I am paying for it

Waste of time

Ordered a tumble dryer took two weeks to get a delivery day but never arrived as arranged had to call courier myself no customer service from them! Was told it would be delivered the next day and the next and the next still no delivery a waste of my time and money! called Asda customer service waste of time still all you get is a person reading from a computer screen next stop trading standards as still no refund won't be shopping at Asda again!

Fraud

I purchased 2 jumpers from asda direct they have taken payment from my account which I authorised but since then they have taken another £135 from my bank account that I have not authorised and as I have not purchased from them anything else do not expect to see continuous amounts of £15 £25 and £50 coming out of my bank account when I called the customer service team all I got was abuse and told you prove it now in the hands of my banks fraud team do not use this site as they will take money from your account without your permission

found half eaten food in delivery

ive used asda for online shopping afew times, and had bad experience with them all.
first 2 times nearly all food had passed sell by date - then the third time I order and last time, I find half eaten spicy chicken wings that I didnt even order, it grossed me out so much that im now completely turned off shopping online for food

and will never ever enter a asda store again,

First home delivery -- managed to get lost

So I waited all day for my Asda delivery, the very first - and last - I have ever had. Or rather, hadn't. 1:30pm was the time I was given; it is now 10 past 10 at night and there is no sign of my shopping. I'm a student on a tight budget, so I was rather relying on this delivery actually turning up at some point today, as I have run out of food.
Anyway, many phone calls were exchanged between myself and customer services. Each time I was told to phone back later because there wasn't anything they could do, but they would 'look into it'. One of the people who took my call said the driver put a note on my door because I was out; not only was there no such note, but my window, which I have been sitting at all day, overlooks the road and, surprise surprise, no Asda van has turned up. It told them about the impossibility of this happening, and the anecdote about the note on my door was not repeated by any of the other customer service employees.
At least, to be fair, the last person I called told me that there was no use maintaining false hope about my order turning up because it probably won't at this point. But still, I don't think I've had a more stressful experience with online shopping, and I've dealt with some pretty dodgy sellers in the past.

Yet another company who takes advantage of its customers.

Paid for 3 months delivery upfront, on to the third weekly shop and their is not a single delivery slot 2 days either side of my preferred date available! So basically i have to either have my groceries delivered 2 days later than usual or 2 days earlier! I thought asda was committed to cutting down on foods waste.... Not to mention the dreaded "substitutes" when the hell did tomato ketchup flavour become a sub for sour cream and onion? And thats just the beginning when it comes to subs (suppose its what happens when you hire minimum wage staff with zero job satisfaction).
I think i will start to shop at [external link]'s in future they seem to have there customer service levels at least a few rungs higher than asda and tesco not to mention actual free delivery slots.

Incompetent, indifferent and that's the good bit

Ordered blinds for our house - 'delivery in 3 working days'
6 working days later no sign so I emailed
2 days later they called to say that the item ('in stock') on the website was actually out of stock and would not even reach their warehouse for nearly three weeks.

No offer to refund so much as the delivery charge. Customer services seemed baffled when I refused to accept what they offered (3 - 4 weeks delivery instead of 3 working days). Never, ever again.

Grocery shopping - brilliant service, better than [Externbal Link]!

Today I received my first online grocery shop delivered by Asda. After reading reviews online I was skeptical about the service I would receive. Maybe it depends on where you live in the UK and how good the deliveries are near you.
I had 3 substitutions and all were well chosen and related to the original item I had ordered - for example a honey and ginger chicken noodle dish was subbed with a Chinese pork and chicken noodle dish. I paid for a 2 hour delivery slot and my order turned up within the first hour. The driver was very friendly and chatty and all my items I had ordered were present.

I was also really pleased to note that many of the ready meals and fresh items I ordered have a long sell by date - some will keep for up to 2 weeks! This is much better than my experience with [External Link], who often deliver food that needs to be eaten within one or two days of delivery.

I also found Asda had a lot of special offers and took advantage of these - the prices are great and the quality of the food is also good.

I will be using Asda again as delivery only cost £3 (£2 if you choose an all day delivery slot!)

missing items and soya milk had gone off

I ordered from Asda home delivery to be delivered the day before christmas eve. When the shopping arrived 8 items were missing. It took me ages to get through to customer services who said they would refund the items - no cmpensation for me having to go out and get these items from elsewhere on Christmas Eve! Then when I opened the Asda soya milk it had gone sour and the foil was broken inside. I complained about this but despite being told my complaint was being escalated, I have heard nothing from them since. I will never use their home delivery service again. Beware!

BE VERY CAREFUL PRICES CHANGE AND YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE WHEN YOU COLLECT YOUR SHOPPING , THERE ARE NO DATES AS TO PRODUCTS BEING ON OFFER OR PRICES CHANGING , I ORDER 5 BAGS OF SWEETS AT £1 PER BAG ON THE 18/02 WHEN I PICKED THEM UP ON THE 19/02 I HAD BEEN CHARGED £5 PER BAG , CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE PROMISED CALLS BACK THAT DONT HAPPEN WONT BE USING AGAIN

Totally appalling customer service – worst ever experience - don't use ASDA please!!!

I received my grocery delivery at 6.45pm on Friday evening. Whilst unpacking I noticed that several items, totalling nearly £20, had not been delivered. At 7.30pm I made the first of MANY telephone calls to the very unhelpful & ineffective ASDA customer service -
7.30pm Friday - A polite customer service advisor apologised for the error. He said he would pass my details to the store who would contact me that evening to arrange delivery the next day ...... A CALL WAS NOT RECEIVED
9.30pm Friday - I called for the second time, again I spoke with a polite customer service advisor. This time I was advised that it was now too late for a return call from the store and that I would receive a call at 9am in the morning ...... AGAIN THIS CALL WAS NOT RECEIVED
10.00am Saturday - My third call to customer service, speaking to an equally polite and ineffective advisor. I was told that my call has been referred to the Home Delivery Manager at the Nuneaton store. He would be calling me ASAP to arrange delivery ...... YET AGAIN A CALL WAS NOT RECEIVED
4.45pm Saturday – My fourth call to customer services. This time I requested to speak with a manager .... apparently no managers were available! The advisor was very apologetic, he advised that he would contact the store straight away then call me back immediately with a delivery time. IT’S NOW 10PM ....... AND SUPRISE, SUPRISE ...... STILL NO CALL !!!
This is the most utterly disgusting customer service I have ever received. I will contact ASDA again tomorrow morning, cancel the non-delivered items and demand a refund .... which is most likely a much easier solution for them and what they are hoping to achieve.
Thank goodness Morrisons have started an online Grocery service. I purchase between £80 - £100 of groceries per week ...... Good Riddance Asda ........ Hello Morrisons!!!!!

I have been having the adsa diet coke now for a long time never had any problem until Wednesday I brought 8 bottles 4 in a pack and I was not happy at all because it was like drinking water I hope when I go to fetch some more this problem is sorted
