Finally a suit that fits me!
I have used A Suit That Fits to create my wedding suit. They have been brilliant from the start and have made a perfect suit for me. They were fantastic when introducing all the different materials, styles, etc... that they have and gave me very useful advice; they made sure that the suit fits me perfectly and have modified it twice, for free, because they were not happy with the way it looked (I thought it was fine, but when it came back, it was so much better indeed!).
I have never liked wearing a suit because I have never found one that fitted me, but I love my wedding suit and will definitely buy some more from them. Thank you very much to all of you, and especially Jonathan!

Great company
I have used ASTF for the last three years and now have six bespoke suits and three shirts all of which are great quality and a superb fit - I've never had so many unprompted compliments. I had never bought bespoke before but wouldn't go back to buying similarly priced off the peg suits that don't really fit.
Once they have your measurements you can simply design your suits online or do it wit the advice of your personal style advisor. They all know what they are talking about when it comes to different styles, colour matches etc and this make the process fun and enjoyable.
In the past I've arranged for ASTF to come into our offices on two occasions and everyone that bought (more than 20 people) were all very happy customers.
I'd definitely recommend these guys to anyone wanting a new suit and will be buying my wedding suit from them in the near future!!!

Top notch ASTF Birmingham!
Superb service & exceptional quality garments; the tailored shirt looks & feels amazing & I looked & felt the business at my wedding in my suit & shirt. Excellent advice & a vast choice of quality styles & fabric combinations, coupled with folk that have a great knowledge & love of their business made for a very pleasurable experience. I will certainly be back for more garments in the future.

Would give 4.5
An excellent suit, very well made, and thanks to the attention to detail and high standards of the tailor, a number of adjustments were made to achieve the perfect fit. Although a little more expensive than what I tended to pay for an off the peg suit, I can clearly see why it is the superior choice to go bespoke and I don't think I'll go back. I'd happily recommend this service to friends and colleagues.

Great product and service
I had been thinking about getting a tailored suit now for some time so when Nick from A Suit That Fits did a site visit to the company where I work I booked a consultation and went along. After spending some time going through options and all the measurements the order was complete and it was just a case of waiting for delivery and final fit.
The suit was completed quite quickly (2 weeks into an 8 week delivery estimate) and I turned up to the local Reading office to collect.
The suit is very, very good quality and the fit is superb. Nick and Angelo who handled my order were very personable and professional. I thoroughly recommend A Suit That Fits.

Brilliant service
My fitting with David from A Suit That Fits in Bristol was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish (as have been all my other dealings with A Suit That Fits). He was never anything but friendly and was happy to offer guidance when it was needed for a novice such as myself.
(Plus his taste in music is bloody good and he makes a damn fine cup of tea.)

First time I have bought a double breasted suit in a long term and the advice on the number of buttons and how it would look was invaluable. The suit was finished well and the small alterations of the button spacing made the fit perfect.

Excellent online service and delivery to Germany
In 2010, I spent some time in London. After I got measured I ordered my first suit at A Suit That Fits. I really like the suit because the facbric feels very good and they really fit perfectly.
Being back in Germany I ordered a second and a third suit online. What can I say? It is so easy and uncomplicted! I just take my profile from the homepage and amend the style of the previous suit in the way I want. The suit will be delivered in a box within a couple of weeks. The delivery service to Germany is excellent. Both suits I ordered online are really brilliant. The quality is smashing and they fit perfectly. From my perspective, the suits are much much better than any high-brand suits off the shelf!
I will definitely order more suits online in the future at asuitthatfits!

Truely bespoke
This is my second suit and the service could not be better. I went to the consultation with firm ideas. The stylist was able to show me wher the ideas were good and those not so good. We agreed on design that met my requirements but was also stylish! Additional desires that are not available on the web site were incorporated. I now have the suit and it is more than I expected. Very snappy

Delighted
Great suit, excellent experience.
One thing though, i have 2 £50 vouchers which expire in 3 months. They really serve no purpose because i ordered a second suit immediately after i picked up the first in order to take advantage of the 15% discount if i did just that. That was a better deal than the £50 off one. So i thought i'd use the voucher to get some cuflinks from you. obviously there was smallprint saying i couldn't do that. Bit of a sneaky ploy, seems like a good offer but serves no purpose in reality.
Anyone want a £50 discount voucher? I have 2 spare...

Bespoke for all!
This company is a delight. It's pretty much exactly what it should be. It has passionate tailors and any fabric you want. If you enjoy bespoke tailoring this is the best option I've seen in years. I'm a customer several times over now.

A Suit that REALLY FITS!
I found these guys when they visited my offices at IBM a few years ago. I had my wedding suit made by them, which was simply perfect and have now had several suits created since.
They make them uniquento you, provide the right level of advice and ensure that you are happy and correct anything that might need adjusting after.
Try them once and you will keep going back!

Flawless, more people need to know about this company!
I have my wedding coming up this April and wanted to get a customised suit for the occasion, having seen the Birmingham brach manager Jonathan at my work place, it was only right to let A suit That Fits look after me! Jonathan was extremely helpful and very professional, he helped me choose the perfect suit and had many ideas to share with me. Icing on the cake was the personalised label in my jacket which has mine and my partners name with our wedding date. Thank you very much Jon for all your help and I cannot wait to tell more people about your service!

Brilliant
We first came across ASTF when looking for something in the gaping chasm between Saville Row and Moss Bros. It was a recommendation from a friend while we were planning our wedding. My husband, his Dad and my Dad and the best man and ushers all got beautifully personalised suits to keep forever which we contributed to instead of us paying for something generic which had to go back.
Although the very first person who measured the boys in London was a little rude when they arrived, service soon improved and they had a great boys day out with lunch and pool and the pub - like a mini stag really. They all loved the experience.
During the process, ASTF opened a branch in Oxford (where we live) with the fabulous Eddy which made life even easier. My husband was thrilled with his 3 piece slate grey suit and shirt and so was I.
When it came to Christmas this year, I wanted to surprise my hubby so contacted Eddy in secret asking for him to find my husband's mmeasurements and help me create another tailored shirt (this one less formal and more colourful) so he could get even more use out of the suit.
Eddy was so helpful and brilliant in making sure the present was kept a secret from my husband - he had absolutely no idea and was thrilled with it.
A Suit That Fits is a really brilliant company that makes good tailoring really accessible to normal people. e'd definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Maybe I was just unlucky...
Ordered two suits and two shirts. First suit and shirt had to be remade they were such poor fit. Second suit and shirt (which should have matched the remade originals) were similarly poor fitting. I don't know if it was just my advisor but he seemed obsessed with having an extremely tight fit on everything - and I mean so tight that I could tell the garments would have torn. Despite repeated attempts to get the suit altered to give a looser fit - which the advisor seemed to have a pathological dislike of (e.g. me: 'it needs a good 3/4" here' , him: 'ok, I will open it up 1/4') I gave up and ended up getting both suits adjusted at my own expense by a local tailor. Not a good experience though I see others here have faired much better.

Thanks for your review - it's extremely important for us to hear where we can improve. Our aim is to delight every single customer. Clearly, we have not been able to achieve this with you yet - please accept our sincere apologies for your experience to date.
It is great that you seem to be enjoying the suits and shirts now, although it seems like this is the result of you taking the suits and adjusting them personally.
As you seem to be aware, we do include as many fittings as our customers require to amend their garments to a point where they are delighted with them. Most of our customers only require a single fitting, although on occasion it can take more than one adjustment to get the fit exactly right. We note that it seems like alterations were not done with your approval. This is something that we will look at improving with your style advisor.
We absolutely do not want you to go to another tailor to get anything adjusted. Any adjustment that you require is included in your Fit Guarantee. However, it seems that going to another tailor to finish your garment was more agreeable for you.
Our aim with this is to:
1. Improve and give feedback to your style advisor.
2. Get in contact to discuss this further
3. Make you happy now
4. Ideally retain you as a customer

Superb
If you read the other reviews about ASTF, you can clearly see that the suits are very well fitted and of a high quality. I dont need to qualify that anymore.
What worried me was delivery time, consistency of quality, customer service and a fit guarantee of some sort. Ie. I didn't want to pay for something and have to wait a year for it to only come riddled with mistakes with no one there to help me and no guarantee.
I am happy to report that:
-the suit was delivery in about 8 weeks after 2 fittings (any sooner and I would have questioned the quality, any later and I would be impatient).
-the quality was excellent and any minor errors were pinpointed and rectified almost immediately (and included in the initial fitting cost).
-the customer service was spot on. Their advisers will help you with anything you need and have a great eye for detail.
- post production, you can have as many fittings as you like to get the fit perfect. Following that, you have an 8 week grace period to ascertain any niggles and get them fixed.
Conclusively; I doubt that I'll go anywhere else ever again.

The best suits I've ever owned
I've been getting my suits from ASTF for nearly four years now, six suits and an overcoat later I can't recommend them enough.
The comprehensive range of materials means they've always got exactly what you're looking for. They're designed to fit you perfectly and are exceptionally well made so they last much longer than off the peg suits.
If you've never tried them I'd highly recommend it, you won't look back.

Excellent service and quality
Very professional service, both in person and online. It is very easy to drop them an email and get a response, or my style adviser is happy to take calls directly on his mobile whenever. Really high quality materials and tailoring result in great products for both suits and shirts.
Get on their mailing list for some really good value special offers, and the discount voucher on your birthday is a nice touch.
A company that genuinely seems to care about making their customers feel special.

This is a fantastic company. I had despaired of ever finding a suit that I liked or which fitted on the High Street, but when I saw an item about them in The Guardian I decided to give it a try. I have had two three piece suits and a shirt from this company. It is always a pleasure to visit their studios. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can have a suit made to your specification, but I found I also got some very honest and helpful advice and suggestions. Fittings are unhurried and you are listened to. I wore one of my suits for a few weeks and decided that I would like the fitting altered slightly. This was done for free and I felt that the main concern of David and Hana was that the suit should be right for me.

Overall very good with initial dissatisfaction resolved by excellent customer service
Initially sold on the premise that the suit would be reviewed a few times to ensure fit. This didn't happen at first and it took another consultant to address the issue and resolve it. Suit is a very good fit (now) and I will return for another suit soon.

Great bespoke service
The design consultants make the process a great experience for someone like me who hates shopping for clothes. The quality of the suits I have already got has got me wearing them even when I don't need to. My wardrobe is getting smarter a;; the time.

Fantastic experience
I wanted a special suit for my wedding and decided to have it made for me and a shirt as well; if my bride was having a dress made why not! I have to say what a fantastic experience it was.
From the very first consultation I felt that I was being looked after and well advised, there was no pushy salesman talk, no hard selling just professional advice from an experienced voice. The initial process of measuring and selection of material, colour etc took about an hour with lots of measurements being made; but in doing so what I got then at the first fitting that was an almost perfect fitting suit; the shirt did fit perfectly first off. With the suit minor alterations were suggested, and these honestly made all the difference, letting out from under one arm, slight alteration to the length at the back of the leg. The suit fitted perfectly second time and really looked fantastic.
Everybody at the wedding was impressed with it, and when I have worn it since people have also commented, and not only does it look good it is just so comfortable to wear.
For me it was the attention to the little details, the professional advice and the clear passion of David in what he was doing that really impressed it really wasn't about churning out suits and making sales there was a genuine desire to give me the suit that I wanted and that he could also be proud of producing.

A smart choice!
I have now bought 2 suits through ASTF and have a third on order and I have been delighted with the service to date, but more importantly the quality and cut of the suits are great!
I ordered my first using their measurement wizard and then had the second order tweaked a bit with Angelo, the Exeter style advisor, both suits fit way better than anything I 've owned off the peg and Angelo's eye for detail meant the second suit fitted even better, just an inch adjusted here and there, means you get a top notch fit and the slim cut meant I could unleash my fetish for 60's style suits.
My third suit order was taken by David Minns, the senior style advisor and again a really relaxed and easy process. All these guys give great advice, super friendly and with the current economic times, this is proving to be a great way of improving my professional image and style!

The whole process has been very smooth. Unlike other made to measure suppliers I got the feeling that the fit was important. The pride in seeing a job well done means that they are not just content to give you a suit that nearly fits but a suit that really fits.

Do it your way...
It has a fantastic range of fabrics and styles to choose from, and the possibilities to have it your way is always there.
Advice from the staff is usually sound, but there is sometimes an element of hurry about the way in which they operate (it's the appointment system making that necessary).
However, there were one or two problems with the measurements and the way in which the suit was fitted when made, but usually alterations were done in a reasonable manner.
All in all, very good value for money, and very little will surprise them by way of individual touches if you want them, so let your imagination go slightly mental...

Excellent service - the style advisors will do anything in order to meet customer needs
A really great service that provides a wonderful opportunity for a creative sartorial spirit. Be it formal suits for work or the more casual jacket - A Suit That Fits staff will do everything they can to ensure, not only that it is tailored perfectly to one's figure, but also that the creation has some element of personalisation. With an ever increasing array of possibilities, regarding design options and a range of fabrics - there really is not excuse to avoid doing something a little different and making sure you stand out from the crown in your own unique way.
