unacceptable hotline Service

Die Hotline Dame der Austrian Airline unter der Nummer 06950600598 hat am Samstag zwischen 15 und 17 Uhr in arroganter art und Weise darauf verwiesen, dass der Streik mit Austrian Airline nichts zu tun hat und trotz Ticketverkauf keine Erstattung stattfindet. Die Dame hat nach einerm oberlehrerhaften Vortrag das Gespräch ohne die Möglichkeit von Nachfragen beendet und darauf verwiesen, dass AA nichts mit dem Streik zu hat. Unglaublich freches Verhalten am Telefon. Austrian Airline ist in unserer Familie gestrichen.

Not recommendable

First time flying with Austrian Airline. Roundtrip Copenhagen-Vienna-Tel Aviv. The flight trip was booked through a travelagency. I flown with a lot of different Airlines and Austrian Air really reached the bottom of airline service. The flight and the meals was unremarkable. The entertainment nonexsistant. But what I want to complain about it their seating system. On our flight out me and my spouse was placed on different seats far from each other and it seemed that they just mixed everyone around. On our flight home the same thing happend so we tried to adress the flight attendents about this. They were very arrogant and not cooperating at all. Basically we got told " Theres nothing we can do" I will never fly with Austrian Airlines again ever

Partaking in near criminal activity

My son booked a flight with this mob, through a bunch of Spanish con artists called eDreams. The ticket he bought turned out to be non-transferable and non-refundable. This was not advised by eDreams at time of purchase of the ticket, nor in the e-mail they sent out. Called Austrian Airlines in the UK and got a call centre in Ukraine. No way would Austrian refund the ticket. No way would they (Olga & Zoryana) give me the name of a contact in the UK or Vienna to write to. They would not even give me the name and address of their CEO. (BTW his name is Jaan Albrecht, Office Park 2 , Vienna1300, Austria.) Like most airlines that don't 'get it'. They think it is better to hold on to £250 for dear life, rather than go out of their way to help someone. Mustn't do anything to diminish the huge bonus the CEO will get next year, eh!?

Første og sidste gang..

Havde den knap så store fornøjelse af at flyve med Autrian Airlines fra mit hjem i Dubai til Danmark, da jeg skulle på juleferie.
Jeg havde købt returbillet med dem, men overvejede kraftigt at booke en enkelt billet med et andet selskab, i stedet for at udnytte min allerede betalte returbillet med Austrian.

Maden var elendig, kold og smagsløs.
Inflight entertainment var (på en +6 timers tur, fra Dubai til Wien) tegnefilm synkroniseret til tysk, samt en anden film, man ikke havde kontrol over mht. pause, start mm.¨s¨var man ikke klar fra start, så var der ingen underholdning (til trods for at ved bestilling blev man lovet "frit valg af endeløs underholdning").
Servicen ombord var ikke-tilstedeværende, f.eks. tog det stewardessen intet mindre end 1 time og 15 minutter at hente en simpel øl. Da jeg 3 gang påminder dem om min manglende forfriskning spørger jeg om de ikke kan tage 2 med, da de så slipper for alt det "bøvl" om en times tid igen. Dette kunne simpelthen ikke lade sig gøre, selvom jeg var ganske oprigtig.
Flyet var lettere forsinket, hvilket jeg dog ikke aner om var deres skyld, men alt i alt gjorde det bare hele rejsen til en af de dårligste i mit liv, og jeg rejser 5.000 - 10.000 km tur/retur ca. 4-5 gange i året med forskellige selskaber alt efter destination.

Gør jer selv en tjeneste og betal lidt mere og benyt et andet selskab.. eller for den sags skyld lidt mindre også, da priserne ikke er specielt attraktive, og slet ikke i forhold til det produkt man får!

Crappy food, expensive flights

I fly to Vienna from London weekly and trust me, this airline just gets worse and worse the more you fly with them. Apart from the fact that every meal is a muffin ("Guggelhupf"), the service is surly, the booking centres clueless and the prices are those of a premium airline.

So if you have to use them, go ahead. If there's an alternative, use it.
