when initially contacted arrangements made and kept although wrong windscreen sent so had to re-arrange no problem we were told 2-3 days a week later was told Wednesday on that day auto-glass was in llanybydder at lunch time as my partner saw them i waited in all day only to receive a call at 5pm saying they were not coming they would do it on Monday when asked if it could be done sooner i was told no after ringing our insurance company we eventually got a call and was told saturday the man turned up was brilliant and job done in 1hr in our garage
Very pleased with my replacement windscreen. Very simple and straightforward to arrange a call out. Staff on telephone very helpful and knowledgeable. Had to wait a week for them to come out to my home as they were extremely busy (after the recent stormy weather and lots of damaged windscreens!), but well worth the wait. Extremely efficient, pleasant technician who was very professional. Would recommend them.
The technician was such a nice man, very professional and efficient, he even cleaned our car windows! They've never been so clean. Nice to meet someone who clearly enjoys their job and goes out of their way to help the customer.
The initial phone call to auto glass left me frustrated and annoyed. They were unfriendly, unhelpful and didn't seem to know what they were talking about. I made the appointment but fully expected it not to happen. The day before the appointment I received a phone call from a very pleasant man who was phoning to confirm my appointment for the following day. The next day I received a phone call an hr before the technician arrived to let me know he was on his way -and when he arrived he was fantastic very knowledgeable pleasant and friendly. I'm delighted with the new windscreen and the service I received after the initial call -thankfully I didn't let the unpleasant woman who I spoke to first put me off -so don't go on first impressions!
The telephone staff were really on the ball - my repair was done on the same day that I rang within a couple of hours of my call. The man who turned up had had his personality removed - perhaps he was just having a bad day. He did a reasonable job but was not a true representation of the excellent service received up until then.
Contacted Autoglass on a Sunday but was not given an appointment until the Thursday. On the Thursday I was phoned by Autoglass to say that, as it was pouring with rain they would not be able to do the repair at my home but if I could get to their centre they could do it there. As the centre is only 15 minutes away this was not a problem. I think that the offer of doing at their centre should be made when first contacted as well as doing it at home.
After hearing a number of Autoglass adverts on the radio I thought I should really get the 3 chips in my windscreen sorted. I booked online, had a follow up phone call and had the job completed at my place of work. The Autoglass employee was lovely, completed the work and then called me back when it was done to check and sign off. I didn't even need to contact my insurance company and for £10 it was a bargain. I would definitely use again if I had any more chips in my windscreen.
was thrilled with them from start to finish, ultra friendly, no nonsense. Came quickly and the window fitter was so polite and just got on with it without any fuss. totally recommend to even the pickiest of people... thank you so much autoglass team
Long wait to have it fixed. Couldn't change appoinmtment even though I know there was an earlier appointment as they had confirmed an earlier appointment but put the wrong plate number. Wouldn't honour this or move me forward to this time, so I had to wait days more. Then inexplicably moved it shorter by 1 day. When fitted, half heated windscreen worked, the other didn't. 4 days to put it right.
I was taking my daughter to a college interview 150 miles away when we were hit by a BIG stone & chipped the windscreen. If it hadn't been for Autoglass reassuring me that the chip should be fine & it would get me there & home I'd have turned round & gone straight home & she'd have missed her interview (where she got an unconditional acceptance) THANKS AUTOGLASS!!! xx
I was asked to provide a signature on a portable machine to authorise the work before it was carried out. That signature was subsequently printed out on a contract that I had never seen and the conditions of that contract were significant in terms of liability for Autoglass in the event of problems during installation. As I had not seen the contract before signing, I doubt that the contract would be enforceable but this seemed unfair in any case.
I rang up Autoglass as a chip and crack happened to my windscreen, I was asked by the receptionist details of about the size of the damage, unfortunately i was asked a few other questions that i did not realise my windscreen had like a sensor and ear logo on the windscreen not reading my car manual and not noticing i said no but unfortunately when the man came out on the Saturday he could not do it because it had a sensor and ear logo so he had wrong windscreen my fault entirely but he was extremely helpful and i was so apologetic but it was no hassle to Autoglass I just arranged a new appointment with the man there and then 100% satisfied customer
We contacted Autoglass the day we noticed the chip in our windscreen. An appointment was made to repair it at my husband's place of work. As the weather was wet and windy he arranged to move the car to a building around the corner where the technician could work in a dry area. The technician said he didn't know where the new building was even though it's a huge building on the same site as my husband's work. My husband gave him a detailed explanation of how to get there and then waited. The technician never arrived and apparently switched off his phone as when customer services tried to contact him there was no reply.
A second appointment was booked. This time the technician came to our home. He was very helpful and professional. Unfortunately due to the position and size of the chip he told us we needed a new windscreen. He organised a further appointment for the replacement to take place.
No one turned up for the third appointment. When I phoned to find out why I was told that a message had been left on voice mail the previous day. As my husband had not received a message we can only assume they either phoned the wrong number or didn't make the call.
On the fourth appointment the windscreen was finally replace by a professional, friendly technician.
The telephone conversation was excellent, proffesional, courteous. The technician who arrived was abrubt couldn't care less attitude. A Ten minute job turned into an hour or more and the end result was very poor. I am now driving with a white blob in my screen.
The technician that dealt with my car was helpful, informative and friendly. He carried out the work efficiently and treated me with respect. The only down side to the new branch that I used was that their was no coffee machine and I was not offered one but there is a Sainsburys within easy walking distance. Although using the online service was relatively easy, I did not receive the call back within the hour it promises but I did get a call the next day. Overall, using Autoglass is cheapest option on my insurance and as far as the work was concerned, I would recommend them and use them again.
The person who came out was brilliant he did everything he could to make sure the chip could be repair and even tried not to laugh when my car alarm went off which sounds like a dying duck. All in all he was a sound person who did the job quickly and efficiently.
The whole process of repairing the chip in my windscreen was really easy. I booked an appointment online, was called by a friendly customer service guy to confirm some details and a van was sent to my work within 2 days to fix my chip. The repair man was very friendly, explained the whole process to me and fixed my chip in about 20 minutes. Very quick and easy.
As other reviews have mentioned, the TV ads are slightly misleading as the chip doesn't disappear. I was told that it would still be visible, though it would no longer spread.
In terms of customer service and ease of process, however, I would definitely recommend.
