i was fitted in very quickly, the staff were exceptional, very friendly and polite. I was disappointed by the fact on the original day of the repair the fitter was sent with the wrong windscreen, the strange part being, he explained the mix up by saying he was not told the age of my car i.e the license plate number even though i had given autoglass that detail more than once. I was however fitted in for the next day.
Thank you very much to the friendly, helpful Autoglass Rep who visited to fix my windscreen. Not only did he do that, he also changed my wiper blades and even cleaned the glass inside and out of my car! Fabulous Customer Service! Very impressed with Auto Glass Staff.
This was for the first time when I contacted Autoglass to carry out a repair. I was surprised that within two and half hours the windscreen was repaired. The technician was very helpful and explained all details with regards to the repair. I'll definitely recommend Autoglass.
Their representative arrived promptly as per the agreed time. He took great care on inspecting the vehicle for signs of damage, both before and after the windscreen replacement. He was extremely careful in protecting the interior of the vehicle. Upon completion he ensured that all the associated equipment was functioning correctly and that the car was left with a clean windscreen. First Class job
First appointment booked but failed to turn up. When chased advised booking was not in system. Re-booked but advised windscreen was not heated, I advised it was, but they did not have this listed and asked how I knew it was heated - simple answer there is a button on the dashboard and when pressed by magic the windscreen defrosts! Quite patronising customer service person. When local contact was made excellent, very friendly and did not question my clarification re heated screen, looked into it and yes it is an option for the make and model of car. Local contact also commented he noted a previous appointment on file - national contact claimed this was not on system.
Overall as headline says - great locally but poor customer service response nationally.
After booking through the website I received a call back and an appointment slot was booked. The technician was a little early which was helpful to me (They did phone to check it was ok). Once they had completed a quick form about my Vehicle and any damage on it, they began the work. Although the work took a little longer than i thought to complete I was informed that due to the type of vehicle I have the process is a longer one than for a normal car.
I was asked to inspect the work and to sign the paperwork if i was happy with the finished job.
I was advised that there was a "Setting" period for the windscreen which I would have to wait to ensure a good bond. The service was great, Fast and Friendly. The only issue / Area I can see has room for improvement is the booking slots.. These are a little vague as they are either morning or afternoon, maybe if you could give them 3 - 4 hours instead would be better
With my windscreen badly cracked by a stone thrown by a passing HGV, time to check the insurance. Directline use Autoglass exclusively so following an easy on-line booking I fronted up in their Inverness depot. Although I arrived half an hour early they took me straight in and did a superb job. Even provided coffees for my wife and I while we waited in their warm reception area. Nice too to be able to watch them work on the car. Fascinating stuff by great guys!
Gave details of the damage when I made the initial call.
The person that assessed the damage said it was not repairable and it needed a new windscreen
I was contacted with a new date.
The next person to visit, to my surprise, did not have a new windscreen and decided to make a repair.
When defrosting the following morning,14 hours after repair, the screen cracked for the repair.
On the third visit the screen was replaced and I am very satisfied with the final result.
Everything went like clockwork, from phoning Aviva who put me straight through to Autoglass, who made an appointment when and where I asked, to the repairer turning up within the time allotted and I drove off 25 mins. later. Can't ask for much more!!
From the initial call and booking the appointment through follow call to bring the date closer to the work completed Autoglass gave a friendly professional service with good old fashioned customer car. Well done to all for making this a very easy and pleasant experience
From phoning to arrange my repair, to seeing the repairman depart, this could not have been easier! The repair was done professionally and promptly, with all the stages of the repair being explained before the operator started to fix my windscreen. All this is done at the place you ask for the work to be done, you do not have to drive miles out of your way to have the work completed. You just have to show your insurance document to the Autoglass repairman, and the repair costs you nothing at all, no worrying about if you can afford to have the work done before it gets worse. A real pleasure to know some companies can work so seamlessly to fix a problem without causing you a headache.
I have been to autoglass a few times - there is always some reason why a repair cannot take place. This time the chip looked just like on the TV advert if not even smaller, but I had to cough up for a replacement because the repair would have gone white. Nevertheless they were polite and efficient with the service.
The guy who fitted the new windscreen was polite & professional however it wasn't until a couple of days later that I noticed the damaged facia on the windscreen pillar. Its a fabric section in the corner that can't be reached unless the windscreen is taken out, the rest of my car is like new however this area now isn't.
I would like to know what autoglass are going to do to rectify this, I would suggest a new fabric facia panel!

Autoglass were very professional and have got a great customer service department,with polite and courteous staff. They informed by e mail when they were coming and actually contacted me the day before to see if they could do it then as the windscreen had been delivered a day early. The fitter was on time and very friendly and the job was professionally done. Well done autoglass.
Got a chip on my windscreen on the way home from work, went online to Autoglass to book an appointment. Was contacted straight away by a rep who went through everything, sorted stuff out with the insurance and arranged an appointment for repair to be done at work. Guy turned up on time, explained everything well and did a brilliant job on the chip. Repair apparently lasts until I sell the car so any problems they will sort it - I am very impressed with the service I got and that doesn't happen often!!!
Sunday afternoon and I am speaking to a really helpful person at the call centre. Arrangements made without any issues and a call back to offer an alternative to that I had first selected.
The Autoglass technician was on time and I left him to get on with the job in our car park. Did a great job and was a really good ambassador for the firm. Thanks to everyone for making this such a painless transaction in every respect. Autoglass - First Class!
Within just 2 days of the window damage appearing the replacement screen had been ordered and fitted! The staff were incredibly helpful in identifying the screen required, I recieved an online update regarding the scheduled time of repair, this was also followed up on the day by a call from the windscreen fitter to confirm his time of arrival.
A brilliant team of guys doing an extremely professional and effcient job.

My windscreen was due to be replaced, but it was raining when they turned up. As we had no cover I expected the job to be rearranged. However, to my surprise they guy offered to take my car to the nearest branch, repair it and return my vehicle. A great job completed with speed, freindliness and total professionalism!

Within minutes of first telephoning I had an appointment to suit me at the location I preferred. The telephone operative was friendly, but also efficient and professional at all times. On the morning of the appointment I was contacted by the engineer when he as a few minutes away. I cheerfully left my vehicle in his hands and about an hour later he telephoned to say, all finished. He explained what to do and what not to do for the next 24 hours and left me feeling completely satisfied with the result. Definitely a service I would recommend.

My experience of Autoglass has be completely positive from the initial web booking to the following up of telephone calls and then the arrival of a representative to my place of work, every thing was done on time and to my satisfaction. Also purchased new wiper blades as recommended by the installer but surprised how cost effective they were for a premiere brand being supplied, this level of efficiency shouldnt go
Noticed a small chip in my screen on Sunday and with the cold coming my first thought was to get it fixed.
Called the insurance company who put me straight through to Autoglass, in 5 mins I had an appointment the next day at my home at a time that suited me.
The technician turned up, and was friendly and explained the process that he was using and gave me everything I needed to know.
despite checking with me about the tint of the windscreen they still managed to bring a clear windscreen and not the tinted one, found this very frustrating having had to leave the car at home that day to have it sorted and then having to re-arrange another day.
When I rang in they automatically used auto script which was dreadful. They asked questions that were totally useless such as do I have a VAT number, did I know my insurance reference number.
I rang a dedicated number given by my insurance company which should have meant when they asked for my Registration plate, the info should have been there.
The person on the end of the line was rather poor at being friendly and more interested in making money than being of service. The opposite can be said of the operative who fitted my windscreen.....He was professional, polite, courteous and quick, a true professional.
I was trying to clean the leaves out of the bonnet grills,i had the bonnet down but off it's catch and the wipers raised when a gust of wind whipped up the bonnet, Snapping the wiper arm and putting a forked crack in the windscreen.I observed the crack for over a week to check on advancement. A sudden change of temperature and the crack started to increase so I rang Autoglass to arrange a time and a place to change the windscreen.The fitter who arrived was a veteran of autoshield and did a perfect job.
I was very impressed with the polite response I got to my queries. My windscreen was repaired within 2 hours of first contacting Autoglass. The engineer was very efficient with the repair, albeit it being Dark. He said that he would take around 40 minutes but it was completed within half hour, he fully explained what was to be done. Excellent service would recommend them to family and friends.
i was really worried when the crack shown on my car, contacted my insurance who advise me to contact autoglass as this wont effect my bonus anyway. contacted autoglass who were very friendly, kept their appointment and fix it the locations where i wanted.
After getting a chip on my screen i was upset that i would have to spend £100 excess to get it replaced, and i never felt confident in having the repair done... but as i had nothing to loose, i decided to give it try. Phone call was free, the repair was free, it didnt effect my no claims bonus and i was so pleasantly suprised. Made the phone call at 10am, the repair man was there at 4pm, job was finished in 15 minutes and i was back in my office with a smile on my face. Great job, great result and didn't cost me a penny from my pocket, or even any effort of out of my working day!
My windscreen smashed on the Monday. When I got home I checked with my insurer to find out which glass company they deal with. When I phoned Autoglass, the first available appointment was Thursday. Wasn't happy about that, but if they're busy what else can you do? When the technician arrived he stated he'd been given the wrong glass. He would rectify it and return on Monday. When the technician came back, he could not repair at my house as his canopy had broken (it was raining) was I prepared to travel to Trentham some 7 miles away. I did so in order to complete this work. Not my best experience.
I noticed a tiny amount of impact damage on the windscreen and my daughter joked, 'that will crack from top to bottom' and within 25 feet it did. That girl is a jinx...
Contacted Autoglass and they had sourced a new windscreen within a few hours. My busy schedule meant I had to alter the appointment time twice but they were helpful and efficient, attending exactly as arranged and fitting the screen within an hour.
The staff I dealt with were professional and efficient, the repair itself was invisible and watertight.
A stone chipped our windscreen, so contacted Autoglass straight away.
An appointment was arranged for the very same day & an engineer arrived promptly at 1pm & proceeded to repair the windscreen. He explained beforehand that there was a possibility that a replacement windscreen may need to be fitted, in the event that the repair wasn't viable . Fortunately repair was ok & in next to no time , all work on windscreen was done . Result ! Impressed !
I first tried another company, appointed by my insurance company, to replace my windscreen. They had no shelter to work from so my appointment was cancelled due to bad weather. I contacted Autoglass who provided a local drive in centre so that work can be carried out regardless of weather conditions. Work was done quickly, efficiently and more importantly very professionally. I decided to hang around while the job was done and all the staff made every effort to make my wait as comfortable as possible. Was able to drive away in less than 2 hrs. Perfect.. A+++++
The work was done as promised, at the time and location we agreed upon. The technicians called twice to confirm their arrival time. Two techs arrived, which is especially good on large 4x4's such as mine, as one person cannot accurately align the glass when fitting. The job was done in an hour in a very professional manner - pleasant and courteous guys. Couldn't really ask for better service!
