Perfect handling of a problematic delivery
I was purchasing a Denon player with Wharfedale speakers. The delivery was returned to AV Bristol by a courier as damaged.
They proposed me fair options to further handle the purchase and after a week without progress with the delivery we agreed on a full refund. I appreciate open a fair attitude.
Delivery status notification (initial sending) could be improved and one mail was "lost" on the way (could have been on either side).

One of the best
I've bought a couple of items from this retailer and have been thoroughly impressed. Products have been fine, as anticipated, but the point of difference is in the service. These are ordinary folk who know their stuff and like what they do. I visited the warehouse to pick up one of my products and while it certainly is a warehouse and not a shop-front, they told me I was welcome to have a look around. And I recently visited their new shop and was equally impressed. Their attitude makes an enormous difference. I am very happy to recommend AV Bristol and will certainly make them my preferred supplier for my hifi needs.

Delivered as promised at a great price
Everything is expensive in Norway. From AV Bristol I got a Denon DCD-M38 DAB at half price compared to Norwegian shops. As Norway is outside the EU, it was great to see that UK VAT was automatically removed. I have to pay norwegian VAT anyway.
My order was quickly expedited and the product arrived safely.
But really, I think you should evaluate a shop on how they respond when things go wrong. Which is hard when everything was perfect :-)

I emailed this company on receipt of the order which arrived the following day the order was placed.

Ordered a pair of Roth Oli20 speakers on a Friday and opted for the Saturday delivery at an additional cost of £9.99. Even with this additional expense the overall cost was still far less than any other site that stocked these speakers. Emails were received regularly during the day informing me of the progress of my order with the final email confirming dispatch and tracking details.
I 100% recommend AV Bristol and will no doubt be making more purchases in the future.

I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received from A V Bristol. I was buying an amp for my partner and I know nothing about electronics! However, I was easily able to find the product my partner wanted and received helpful communication via e-mail about delivery dates to ensure it arrived in time for Valentine's Day. Brilliant price and service
I recently bought a Wharfedale Moviestar MS68 subwoofer from AVBristol, having phoned them first to check it was in stock. They were easily the cheapest around. The person on the other end of the phone was really pleasant and helpful. The subwoofer was despatched immediately and arrived the next day.
So, all in all, I've had a really good experience with this company and won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

A1 - I would deal again with these guys any day. When my goods were damaged by the courier in transit they immediately arranged for another courier to send a replacement at a time convenient to me. They even rang me from home out of hours to let me know that the matter was being dealt with. Also very helpful telephone advice on product choice.

Ordered an Audica soundbar (very good price) from the website late Wednesday night, Thursday morning had a number of emails with status updates of the order and then to let me know the item had been shipped. It was delivered Friday morning, all present and correct with no issues or problems.
I also called customer services on the Friday to ask a question on how to set the speaker up properly (Ohm mis-match with reciever) and got through first time to a guy who knew his stuff, was patient with me and offered some sound advice. Also invited me to call back and speak with him if for any reason I wasn't 100% happy. All in all a very good experience and is an example of how customer service should be!
