Rented a car since my usual car rental company SIXT was not available at this particular holiday destination. I thought it would not harm to give it a try, wish I had never done so. Months after the rental was paid and the accompanied airmiles were added to my account they send me an invoice for the full amount to be paid again. After several phone conversations and letters they also dare to send me a notice of intent to commence legal proceedings although I have send them a copy of my credit card payment and airmile points. In my opinion they are such a big company with so many departments that they have lost the skill to coordinate on all levels.
