This company is well named - they are absolutely "awesome" to deal with!!!
I have been dealing with this company for only several months. In that time I have been impressed with their vast selection of books, prices and special offers. However, I have been even more impressed with their level of customer service. My books are well wrapped and shipped promptly [overseas]. And, when there was a problem with an order, each and every one of my emails was answered promptly and politely. The matter was quickly resolved and a refund issued. I have now placed several orders for myself and my family - and will continue to do so with absolute confidence. I have recommended the company several times over to other book lovers. And highly recommend it to anyone reading this review. This company is, indeed, "awesome"!!!

Great price and no postage costs
I wanted a certain book for a friend's child and found it in hardback at a really good price at Awesome books. I needed to clean the front cover a little and one or two of the pages were a slightly creased but thats expected with a second hand child's book and it was clearly described as good rather than excellent condition. The book was well packed and arrived within the week. I love the fact that there are no postage costs. A great service and I will use Awesome Books again.

Overnight shipping from UK to Canada....for free!
Superb quality books despite the fact that they are used. One thing that I would have changed is shipping all the books in one package as opposed to the 4 that I received. That way the chance of lost shipments would have been reduced. Although, that did not happen to me.

What would I do without my books from Awesome Books.
I can honestly recommend Awesome Books if you want a good deal and excellent service. They have never let me down, would be great if I could buy Kindle books from them though.

Good condition second hand books with free delivery.
You have a wide variety of books which covers huge area of interests and topics. The second books are in good condition and reasonably priced, although brand new books are sometimes more expensive than even its original price. However, I usually am looking at your second hand books and with its reasonable price, its also free delivery, which is an added advantage. Sometimes the delivery is longer that you have stated but I can live with that.

Reliable,inexpensive and fast..............
You can't go wrong buying from Awesome Books. Loads of inexpensive books, with free delivery!
I have a Kindle but still buy the 'real' thing from Awesome as some books need to be in paper format to appreciate and often the books are cheaper than ebooks.

The Awesome Alternative to Amazon
Extraordinarily simple site to order books from. Wonderful prices (free shipping to France!). Great for finding second hand books. Lousy for info on the books themselves, so if you don't know what you want, go and browse on another site and then come back here to buy.

great books and postage,system needs improving
An occasional book is not in saleable condition but many more are superb, it balances, although it should always be mentioned if a book is ex library.
The operating system requires some significant improvements:
1. If you wish to look at used books(as distinct from bargain books) when you go to page 2 you get ALL books including new. A great disincentive to viewing the used section.
2. Speed can be ponderous at times, this particularly applies to the bargain bundles to such an extent I have given up on that section.
3. Search engine should be able to go more easily to subsections as well as word search and should be easily accesable at all times to change search criteria (think Amazon)
All in all super choice at good money, particularly with the inclusive postage taken into account.

Awesome Books is a fab website which is easy to use and has a huge variety of books to purchase at very reasonable prices. I always search for my books here before anywhere else and free postage is just the icing on the cake. I tell all my friends about this great website

This company is awesome.
I buy books regularly - at least twice a week. If Awesome books have the books I want then I will order from them before any other seller. They are incredibly prompt with orders and give excellent service. Use them - they are the best, believe me.

Awesome value
Generally books arrive within a week, and are good quality.The books are easy to search for on line. Excellent value picture books for use in Early Years/Special needs classes.
On one occasion at the end of 2010, books did not arrive but it was at a time when weather was bad and alot of other Christmas mail did not arrive. Awesome books gave a prompt refund.
I have one book with pages missing at the end, but have not formally complained as it is still useful as it is and the rest of the book is as new.
Its always worth looking for books on Awesome books first before trying better known on line supppliers.

Very Good quality Books!
I have been buying from Awesome books for well over a year, and while the quality of used books has varied slightly, on the whole they are usually clean, unmarked and intact. I haven't had, in truth, one book which I have been dissatisfied with, only on occasion some are better than others. My last transaction was of an almost immaculate condition hard back which I was very pleased with. The price of the used category book is very competitive and I always check awesome books when purchasing these days when money is tight! Great company, recommended.

A customer for life
At first I thought this might be a scam company due to the prices, and so it was with a bit of hesitation that I did my shopping, but to my joy all books arrived within a week - in perfect condition although I bought them as used.
I am recommending this webshop to anyone, and I am definitely buying my books here again.

Good in parts
I found the book I wanted in a bundle of 3. When they arrived, the original book I wanted was the paperback version I expected and it was in good condition; the other book was a new-looking hardback, so I was delighted with those two. However, the third book turned out to be an abridged version in the form of a Reader's Digest condensed paperback, and I wasn't at all impressed with that. I shall be more cautious about buying bundles of 3 books in future. The 4th book, a hardback separate from the bundle, was in good condition inside, although the outside looked as if it had been clawed by a lion! Maybe he hadn't finished it before the keepers took it away!

Awesome Service.
I’ve been a customer of Awesome Books for some years, usually buying secondhand books. The books are always as described and are sold at a competitive price. Their service is fast and efficient. A very reliable company, I can’t say how good the after sales service is as I’ve never had a problem that needed rectifying.

Navnet er ikke bare salgsgas
Jeg har efterhånden bestilt RIGTIGT mange, hovedsageligt brugte, bøger fra Awesomebooks. Pris, kvalitet og udvalg af brugte bøger er fænomenalt og der er ofte kampagner med yderligere rabat (10-15 % rabat, 4 bøger for 3s pris osv.) Når portoen til Danmark ovenikøbet er gratis for to eller flere bøger, så er det svært ikke at forkæle sig selv med lidt engelske paparbacks i ny og næ :-)
I starten ankom bøgerne i forede papirkuverter, der ofte var revet i stykker under transporten, hvilket jeg gætter på er grunden til, at en af mine ordrer forsvandt i posten(?) Men pengene blev øjeblikkeligt refunderet og bøgerne bliver nu sendt i langt mere hårdføre pap"kuverter", så ingen klager fra mig.

Great for bookworms like me
