Got caught out but turned up trumps
The goods were not in stock despite promising immediate order completion.
One email sent to AWSmith got an excellent response although
Goods still arrived almost month late, and the agreed refund was received at the same time.
GOOD prompt customer service communications, no procrastination or mealy mouthed excuses.

I found exactly what I wanted online and it came swiftly but the website looked clunky and untrustworthy.
Like I said, I thought the service was excellent and the range of goods fantastic. The delivery was faultless and I was very impressed. However, the look of the website made me wary and I researched the company before handing over my card details for a £70 spend.

10 days later order not received
we dissapointed as i am still waiting to receive goods. Nesbitts would have had order by next working day.Will be interesting to see what goods are like when they do arrive. Not a good system for placing order would have like to have been sent an invoice by e.mail and paid the bill through the BACS system.

Butchery at its very best
Omg, great delivery, great service, and the quality of items provided is outstanding. Not the cheapest around but so glad I paid the little extra. No messing about!
I had a simple order which was placed on a tuesday, i recieved a email informing me that my order had been placed and was being authorized. The second email i recieved within 2-3 hours was that my order had been despatched. The next day i recieved my order early in the morning with no complicated paperwork just a friendly delivery man. Courteous and efficient service
I made a small order with this firm on 19 December, and was most pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and courtesy with which I was treated. My order arrived on December 23rd.
I was kept informed by telephone of the current status of the
order, and despite the high volume of Christmas orders, it was impressive to note that my very small order received the same attention to detail that a larger one would have expected.

Prompt service but very expensive delivery
For an item of $15 aud the postage and delivery made the item total $123 aud. If you could accept a credit or debit card, it would make the cost viable as included in that cost was a bank cheque charge of $30 aud. All in all, was it worth it?
I'll be thinking twice before ordering anything else.
It's a shame that no-one seems to import these ham stands to Australia.

I reviewed a number of sites before buying. The choice and prices available at AW Smith was as good and better than all others.
I bought a cutlery set of victorinox cutlery and it was over £30 cheaper than the next cheapest,
Transaction was smooth and communications very helpful. Delivery price not expensive.
Would happily use again and will be first place I look and measure others buy.
