After a burst pipe damaged our home in November, I fully expected a battle to prove my claim and get reimbursed. I need not have worried. Axa came out promptly, saw our claim was genuine and sorted everything out swiftly. They covered everything generously and without any dispute. So then i expected i would get pay back time when my renewal came....Again I was pleasantly surprised that they did not penalise me. I know people only really bother filling in reviews if they get poor service,but i was so impressed that I wanted to let you know that most folk probably have the same experience as me. I will definitely recommend to all my family and friends and will be renewing in February with this company as I now know I can fully trust them to take care of me on the rare occasions when life deals a nasty surprise!
had two years home insurance with AXA - had good info about dealing with two minor problems and rapid communication with assessors they use. However my premium was hiked dramatically and they were unwilling to negotiate lower price despite being quoted at a much lower price on money supermarket.
I went to AXA last year for buildings and contents insurance mainly because it was a recognised name and the price was good via compare the market.
Unfortunately we had a theft and lost a lot of stuff from the home. AXA were excellent in handling the claim. Don't get me wrong, they didn't just give the money away, but they were very prompt with the repairs and helped us in dealing with the lost adjuster and valuers.
Overall, I would recommend AXA and have returned to them this year knwoing i am covered by a helpful insurer of integrity
