An experience never to be forgotten

I was given the balloon trip as a birthday present from my daughter. She also paid for her father, so we both shared the experience. It took many bookings to actually get off the ground due to the terible British weather, but at last, one afternoon we all met at Tiverton and all systems were go.At the field where the flight was to be released, we took part in opening and laying out the ballooon prior to inflating. I was amazed at the extent of it laid out, we were told it was over 100ft in height!. The inflation was in process when we were told how to clamber aboard in our designated compartments in the basket. We all had a great laugh getting aboard as it is not as easy as you would think, no physical difficulty just awkward to approach. Time came when the balloon was ready and without any more delay we were up, up and away. It was exhilarating, the scenery was stupendous as was the sun setting in the west. I was not prepared for such a wonderful experience and all too soon, it was sadly time to descend. The flying time went by so quickly and was so much fun, I would say to anyone thinking about booking a flight, get on the phone and book it. Aerosaurus Balloons were excellent. Before, during and after landing they kept you fully informed and the whole crew were so professional, just go for it.

Perfect and dreamlike - despite being petrified of heights!!!

I was truly petrified when I booked the flight for my husbands 50th birthday, right up until the day, I was still apprehensive. When we got to the meeting point, the truck arrived with the huge basket and everybody (there were 16 of us altogether) helped pull the balloon out and set it up. It was amazing watching the balloon slowly being filled with air and I got some fantastic photos of the whole thing, even sneaking in a few of inside of the balloon! Once the balloon was up and we were ready to get in the basket, I was feeling a bit dubious because of my fear of heights but we got in and the balloon started to rise.....it didn't feel like the same feeling I get when i've been scared of heights....it felt like I was just standing on the ground. As we got a little higher I just started taking photos and feeling completely safe because there was no movement and the pilot was just telling us information about balloons and his experiences, information about the surrounding area and we were all just totally in awe of the beauty of the landscape from up there. It was a truly awesome experience and we now plan to do it again next year hopefully, and I expect we'll do it again and again after that! I'd recommend it to everyone, for a gift or just for yourself, you've just got to experience it!!!

Flight of Fancy

Having wanted to fly in a balloon for many years the experience surpassed all my expectations. I originally purchased a ticket for my husband as a gift, but then decided to join him and am so glad I did.

We were lucky enough to have fantastically hot weather and there was no need for jumpers or jackets. My only regret was that we were unable to set off from Salisbury, where our children would loved to have seen us take off. Unfortunately weather conditions dictated we had to fly from Dinton and as the winds were very light it was a little disappointing we did not travel very far. However the flight itself was magical and we would certainly go again. Our Pilot, Dee, was very entertaining and knowledgeable of all aspects of Balloon flight and we felt in the safest of hands. We even had a perfect landing with the basket remaining upright!! Thanks Aerosaurus for an unforgettable experience and you will hear from us again.

Perfect birthday gift.

I had my balloon flight as a 60th Birthday gift from my daughter. We had 4 previous attempts that were cancelled due to the bad weather this summer, but finally got a beautiful day with a very light breeze. We flew from near Shaftesbury with pilot Dee, who was very nice and an obvious expert at ballooning. We gently floated up to 2500 feet. It was like looking over a balcony at the lovely countryside below. We all enjoyed champagne and then were taught how to stand for the landing. We landed safely and without harm, but all lying on our backs as the basket tipped onto its side. Everyone found this rather funny as we clambered out onto the grass. I would definitely go again given the chance. Thanks Dee and the crew!

An excellent evening

My flight was a birthday gift which made it extra special.
I was apprehensive about going on my own, but soon got chatting to other passengers before we even got in the jeep to go to our flight take off area! Being part of the "team" that got the balloon ready was fun and interesting, adding to the overall enjoyment, as did the packing away afterwards.
The flight itself was terrific - over familiar ground - and so smooth! And a soft landing. We have great photos at 3000ft to keep the memories alive. The staff were friendly and knowlegeable and a valuable part of the whole experience. I am so glad I had the chance to do this and would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent experience

Excellent service from start to finish. Ordered for my husbands birthday with the balloon in a box. delivered day before birthday.
Easy to see when flights were available and to book on a flight. Flight information was updated regularly. The actual flight was amazing. I was very nervous, but the staff made me feel very relaxed. enjoyed the hands on experience of helping to get the balloon up and put away.

We had our first balloon ride on our choosen day, and what a great start to anyday!! The pilot and crew were very friendly and helpful. We loved helping to spread out the balloon prior to take off, and to see it inflated is amazing. The take off was so gentle and before we knew it we were 1500 ft high. The pilot kept us informed of what was happening and the glass of Champage was most welcome. Cant wait to do it all again!

Best Christmas present

We had a magical experience which way exceeded our expectations. there was not a cloud in the sky, the pilot was amusing, informative and friendly but best of all reassuringly competent. We went a mile high and could see all the way to the coast. The landing was gentle and we enjoyed helping to pack away the balloon as well as watching it fill with air. Thank you, hope to see you again.

A Great Experience.

My son and I had a wonderful early morning flight in bright sunshine. It was an 18th birthday treat which I know he won't forget. The flight carried us over rural Devon and the pilot was very informative and helpful.I would recommend Aerosaurus to everyone and would love to fly again in the future.

Good work Aerosaurus

I had an idea of what to expect. Thought initially it was going to be all blown up and ready to go on arrival. Instead we all had to take a fully hands on approach to un-packing inflating and packing up the balloon. What a great way to get the passengers understanding all about it, and it certainly became a great team building experience. I wasnt expecting that. Then there was the journey. Words normally dont fail me. However on this occasion I struggle to find suitably positive enough words to describe the whole experience. Most memorable Xmas gift ever.

AMAZING

This is a must do for anyone it is so different then you could imagine i would recommend this experience .The saff are great and let you get involved with setting up the ballon myself and my husband would definitely fly again with AEROSAURS.

Was givien this trip as a birthday present and found the company (when sorting out dates) to be very helpful and extremely friendly on the day.

Incredible experience

From the time we were picked up at the designated meeting place to being dropped back off, Aerosaurus personnel were very professional, but fun. I would definitely like to balloon with them again. Nothing to be afraid of even if you suffer from vertigo, you are in excellent hands.

FABULOUS!

A truly wonderful experience

From the 1st booking to the actual flight, everything was handled by Aerosauros in a very professional manner.
Becuse my fellow passenger lives in Paris, tieing up dates was difficult but Aerosus were so very, very helpful throughout.
The actual flight was a wonderful experience, you are just floating, it's so peaceful.

Magical!

What a magical experience! I booked it as a birthday treat for my boyfriend and we both found it an extremely unique experience from start to finish... the excitement as the balloon was inflated, the magical flight itself and the laughs whilst packing it away.It was a slightly foggy afternoon but our pilot, Arthur, skillfully took us above the fog and the views were stunning. A memory we will treasure forever!

An experience beyond my expectation

Aerosaurus, what an amazing journey, it took me a few dates to pick a day for the right weather etc. but it was well worth the wait! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute, from the time we met our Pilot Dee and the ground crew, the fun and laughter we had on the journey to the setup point, the experience helping to prepare for the flight, the views, the laughter and fun with our pilot and oter passengers, and still more the packing up once back to earth, trying to get that huge balloon back into it's bag! What fun, If you are out there thinking about a flight, DO IT!!! I hope my children treat me again in the future

The four of us had an absolutely brilliant time - the weather was magnificent - the crew were really good, they kept us informed about each and every stage and we all had a go at helping out somewhere along the line and felt part of it all. Arthur our pilot was great, we could ask all sorts of questions about the various landmarks we could see etc nothing seemed to be a bother to him. Just can't wait to do it all over again -even getting up at 4.00am!! Thanks a million!

What an experience

Aerosaurus put on a brilliant morning from start to finish. We were kept involved of the whole process and informed about everything that was happening. The pilot and the groud crew were experienced and friendly, and i would definately recommend this company, the experience is well worth the money.

Great Experience

I can't recommend Aerosaurus enough. Sometimes actually getting into the air can be frustrating, in the main, because of adverse weather conditions. I found everyone at Aerosaurus very helpful, replanning the flight for me.
The flight itself was brilliant, smooth & beautiful clear morning with marvellous views all around.
The pilot & the ground crew were professional, friendly, informative & helpful. Who could ask for more?

Absolutely Amazing!

A brilliant experience! It was everything we expected and more - an amazing experience! Our flight was an early morning one and we had to wait for the sun to break through the fog but when we took off it was amazing - passing through a thin layer of fog and seeing other balloons ascending - some below, some coming through the fog and some above and views of the Devon hills as the backdrop. Our pilot was brilliant and procedures were explained carefully and we were informed of how high and how fast/slow we were travelling. It was over all too quickly - we would love to go up again. Definitely recommend a flight with Aerosaurus!

A Day to Remember

What an amazing day, it was perfect from start to finish. I was a little bit nervous but Charlie, the pilot for the day, put me totally at ease and made the occasion one I will never forget. The views were stunning and I could never have imagined how differently you see the world around you when floating calmly through the sky. Thanks Aerosaurus!
