I was looking at a couple of de-humidifiers on which Bambino direct were offering free delivery.
I first of all asked a few questions on their live chat facility, expertly fielded by the hugely competent Gemma Poppleton, who then rang me back to take my order details.
This took place on a Wednesday evening and the unit was with me by 1330 on the Friday.
I can't imagine how the service could have been any better.
hello great performance in the delivery of the order, received in good condition, good communication. Just add one complains, the website should be more user friendly, an example, there is no direct login for users, which is easy to access all the information about ordering and emessages. thank you all.
I brought the v-tech toot toot drivers collection for my son for christmas. Best price across the web and fast delivery. Only small negative I had was that the delivery people left the parcel in the refuse bin, which if it had been bin day could have been disastrous! No signature was taken even though they said it would need one! But great service and communication otherwise :) Well reccommended!!!
We had been searching for a particular stroller for what seemed like an eternity online before finding it in the colour we wanted at Bambino direct. The price was excellent and up to £50 cheaper than we'd seen elsewhere and the booking process was quick and simple to complete. The stroller arrived the next day and we were kept informed about delivery times via email and text. Having had some hideous experiences buying online it was great to see it work so well. I'd recommend bambino direct without hesitation.
We did lots of research to see what pram would be best for my daughter who is expecting twins. Once you have decided on the make model and colour, you then find the best price. That is what pointed us in the direction of Bambino Direct. Not only were they absolutely the most competitive but they offered very quick delivery. I have never before been advised at so many stages that our delivery was on the way - and this was really useful. We knew the day, and the approximate time span, and THEN we were told it would be with us in an hour - so the whole day was not wasted waiting for a delivery that didn't arrive when expected. GREAT service, I really mean that. We are so delighted, just waiting for those babies to come along now. That is not quite the sure thing of a Bambino Direct delivery!
I am very pleased with the highchair bought for my little girl.
Delivery was fast and I was informed about the progress via my phone.
I hope to use BambinoDirect in the future.
We ordered the hauk trio shopper and we just love it. The price was fantastic, real value for money and we feel like this site was a God send. Only issue is, make sure you check the delivery address they have for you as I didn't really check properly and our product was delivered to the neighbouring road. Lucky enough, they signed for it and I picked it up from there with no issues.
I bought the Boon Naked bath which I haven't used yet as baby hasn't arrived, but have had a good play with and it looks great! The customer service I received was brilliant, I originally chose something that was a pre-order item then changed my mind so called and changed the item which was then delivered the next day by Parcel force who are one of the better courier services! (got a txt to say it was on it's way an hour before it arrived) all went very smoothly despite me changing my mind! and will definitely use them again .
I've purchased a Graco Mirage Travel System on Monday, Oct 28, on Bambino Direct website. Right after placing the order, I've looked for some reviews online, just to make sure I could trust the company.
The reviews I've read were scary, to say the least. People saying that the purchase hasn't arrived on time, or hasn't arrived at all; products were broken; packages were torn and filthy and loads of complaints about costumer service. Well, those people purchased over £600 worth of products. What would they do with mine, that was slightly under £100??? The order was placed and I had nothing else to do, but waiting.
Well, yesterday, Oct 29, they sent me an e-mail, informing that the order was despatched and today, Oct 30, they have delivered, after sending an SMS with the estimated time (90 min after the SMS). The package was in perfect condition, as well as the products.
It was a surprise, after all the bad reviews, but I think that was just a phase Bambino Direct was going through...
I am very happy with my purchase, the first one for our first baby, and I will definitely go back and buy the other items I need from them.
I have recently purchased a "princess and the frog" dressing table set. I cannot comment on the quality of the product yet as it is a Christmas present so is still in its box hidden away.
The service from Bambino Direct has been excellent. Prompt delivery.

Bought my nursery furniture from this company online prices were competitive order 4th August allowing what I thought would be sufficient time as my baby is due 8th Nov paid in full over £1000 what advised delivery would be 6 weeks approx middle of September we got to the 16th September and I hadn't heard anything so decided to chase as was told it would be w/c 30th Sept I waited until 3rd Oct hadn't heard anything so called again a d was assured still w/c 30th Sept even though that week was almost over and then the following morning received and email stating a two week wait I called the person concerned and they were looking into it we are almost another week later and I'm still waiting for the call back I was promised last week. They simply don't care and will tell you anything my nursery is almost ready and I have no finalised delivery date on the furniture which I fell in love with back in July just wish I had bought elsewhere as this company simply doesn't care can't be bothered to contact customers and has ruined what is meant to be a special time preparing my nursery AVOiD at all costs even if more expensive elsewhere I wouldn't give them the time of day and I'm just hoping my furniture arrives at some point otherwise I will be contacting my credit card supplier as thank goodness when shopping online I use my credit card for extra protection.
This company is shocking.. It was my worst ever online experience & I will most definitely not be a retuning customer.
Earlier this year I purchased a stroller. Delivery was prompt etc, no problems there. The problems were when I began using the stroller. The front left wheel was faulty & was very difficult to push whilst my toddler was sat in it. The hood didn't match the description on the website either.
I contacted Bambino Direct who arranged a collection so the manufaturer could investigate. This meant that I was left without a pushchair whilst the investigation was under way.
The pushchair eventually returned with a note from the manufacturer saying that the chasis had been realigned. I was not impressed, when I called Bambino Direct I told them I either wanted a brand new replacement or my money back.. Instead I get a repaired item, which was faulty in the first place!
Anyway.. Regardless of the 'chassis being aligned' the pushchair remained the same! I called Bambino Direct AGAIN and they arranged yet another collection so that the pushchair could be investigated by the manufaturer. Again I was left without a pushchair.
The pushchair came back from the manufacturer with a note saying that the problem I was reporting was from wear and tear!! As you can imagine I was furious, the pushchair arrived faulty in the first place and I had used the pushchair just a handful of times!
I called Bambino direct a countless number of times to get a refund.. They were not helpful in the slightest and always passed on the blame to the manufacturer, saying that they were the ones who made the final decision into any investigations made etc.

I contacted them on the day of delivery to advise them of the fault and they made the process very difficult, so difficult that I still to this day am lumbered with a faulty pushchair in my garage and no refund.
I read the reviews on here after my experience, and contacted Laura at Bambino Direct on the email address she had provided for the customers who had left negative feedback.. Laura promised all of the unhappy customers a quick resolution to their problems. I received no response.
Bambino direct.. If you are reading this, there is a faulty pushchair in my garage that could so with collecting. Many thanks.

The trampoline is of the best quality, instructions are very good and easy to follow.
I am very pleased with everything and my grandchildren love it.
Your service and delivery is excellent and exceeded my expectations in everyway.

We ordered a Concord Neo travel system from Bambino direct, the price was good and the delivery was fast. Unfortunately that's where the good part ends.
When we unpacked the goods there was a rip in the fabric of the pushchair. We called Bambino immediately and they asked us to e-mail a photo of the damage. We did this straight away and were told it was definitely faulty.
We were advised to wait 48 hours for a response. 48 hours came and went, so we called to chase. They refuse to let you speak to the returns team, so we spoke to customer services who advised they were waiting for a response from the supplier and we would hear in a couple of days.
Surprise, surprise, no returned call again. We called to chase again and were again told they were waiting for a response but we would definitely hear back by the end of the week. By Friday evening, still nothing, so we called them again and were told they may have a replacement in stock and that they would see if they could get that sent to us. We were asked to wait until Monday.
You guessed it, no call back from Bambino on the Monday, so we called again on Tuesday. Customer services then claimed there was no note of them ever offering us the replacement as they don't hold it in stock! They then said that they would e-mail the supplier to see if they had one, this is 2 weeks after being told they had already done this! We were assured they would call us back by Thursday and low and behold, nothing.
We called again Thursday evening and were told they had a reply from the supplier and that they couldn't find a replacement. We then said we wanted to return the goods for a refund and they said collection would take place the next day.
Parcel Force arrived the next day and said they were only authorised to take one box as that's what the order from Bambino said. The travel system is in two big boxes. I managed to get the driver to wait whilst I rang Bambino and the lady spoke directly to the driver and agreed to cancel that collection but put through another one for the same day, with 2 boxes. The driver accepted this and took both boxes.
On the Monday, another Parcel Force driver turned up to take 2 boxes. Bambino had put the collection through for the Monday. Obviously the boxes had already gone, so I advised the driver of this.
We called Bambino a couple of days later and were advised the goods had been received but that they would need 48 hours to check them. We then received an e-mail asking us to arrange for collection of the goods! Two days later we called Bambino again, and a very rude lady told my wife that they hadn't received the travel system and had only received a fabric pack, seeing as we hadn't ordered a fabric pack from them or anyone else, and they don't actually exist for that model, this seems very unlikely.
They then said that they need 5 working days to investigate but if they can't track down the goods they won't give us any money back. As this is over £500, it is obviously very disturbing. We are not in the position to buy something we clearly need before the baby is born.
We are currently left waiting, again, whilst getting ever closer to the due date.
I can honestly say that Bambino Direct is the worst online company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. What appears to be a good price is definitely overshadowed by absolutely appalling customer service.

Best price available on the web for the item I was looking for (MacLAren Globetrotter pusher).
Ordering was an easy process.
Customer service was very response ( I needed to change the address of delivery).
And the product arrived in perfect condition (not bashed and battered like some other courier companies!).
Will shop with Bambino Direct again ....
What a experience !! awful!! bought a pushchair and a car seat, the pushchair was delivered after few days- damaged!! car seat was missing :( phoned numerous times now trying to solve it...so called to asked to have a pushchair replaced, they collected it promised replace it as soon as possible nearly week later still no car seat no pushchair! I even offered to go myself to a showroom and collect it myself I was told I cannot as they don't have pushchair in stockroom ! what a lie ! they clearly got one in there if I wanted to buy another one ! an adviser offered to put £ 20 to rent a pushchair from them ?!! why would I wanna rent a pushchair if I just bought a brand new???? operators keep promising to call you back but these are just promises....I am pregnant and cannot carry my little one around so was looking to have my new pushchair, but all I have is stress now !! what a awful company...awful awful awful stay away never ever think that u might save few £ with them u will be spending much more on phone calls etc ....so disappointed..and if the company can read this - be ashamed of yourself I cannot believe you call it business !!
Tried to pay with PayPal and system broke and threw me out. Went through process again with bank card and order was accepted. Tried to register account so I could track order but system wouldn't let me. Non-member order tracking was good though and received goods in little over 24 hours so pleased with that.
Ordered 2 items a month ago from these people both stated in stock and available for delivery 4days later. I called them the day of delivery to be told there not in stock and delivery was now due for 2 weeks from then (tomorrow) I'm now told when I call to confirm that there still not in stock and will be next week until we receive the goods (we've paid £130 for) and told there automatic system to alert customers on delays is broken and they are aware but haven't tasked any staff to notify in place and expected to last a few weeks till fixed. This company does not value it's customers and once they have your money don't care about you any longer. Only positive thing is the customer service agents seam friendly and honest. Do NOT buy from these
Ordered a Britax car seat for my Grandson, this was the cheapest online price my daughter could find. Added bonus of free postage plus two free sunshades (worth £20) included as a special offer.
Product arrived within three days and was left with my neighbour as there was no one Omar home. Would thoroughly recommend this company :-)
I ordered a beautiful cot from Bambino Direct. It arrived on the date expected, fab, however the parcels were filthy, ripped and the contents damaged. It took an age to get a returns approval, an age for the company to collect. This was bad enough; but the replacement took 5 separate attempts to be delivered. The sales assistants blatantly lied to me on two occasions saying the replacement was en route for the agreed dates, only to be told by the couriers that they had no record of such parcels. I had to take 4 separate days off of work to await delivery, only to be told it was other either lost or non existent. I lost earnings as I am self employed, not to mention the increase in both my mobile phone bill and landline phone bill calling an 08 number to chase the deliveries up. When I claimed for loss of earnings they took weeks to reply, and simply said that they cannot compensate for forces beyond their control and that because i did not specify a date for delivery they were not liable! This is ridiculous as I simply wanted delivery of of the goods that I had already paid for, and so with each failure to deliver I had to take the next available delivery date, which would again materialise to be another wasted day! How is it possible for such a huge online company to behave so unprofessionally with no thought for the undue stress on a member of their target demographic, a pregnant woman!? Blatant lies and disregard of the consumer. I truly thought I had been duped out of my money. The replacement that eventually turned up had marks and dinks on it and looked like a reject also. I just could not bare another 8 weeks of anxiety and disappointment in tying to return it for a refund. Unbelievably bad company. Never had any issues with Mothercare, Amazon, Next etc and I have recently ordered a highchair from online4baby, the delivery turned up exactly when stated, within the hours slot specified; fantastic service. I would never use, recommend Bambino Direct ever again; these companies should be answerable to someone but sadly not. The above grievance refers to Return Reference: 77131942, Baby Amigo Vivero Cot Sleigh Bed in Natural. The dates on which you failed to deliver where: 19/06/2013, 21/06/2013, 26/06/2013 and 01/07/2013; the cot bed was finally delivered on Wednesday 3rd July, a 5th day of lost earnings for myself as I had to wait in for the delivery again. Moreover the goods were scratched and dented in places
The site was really easy to use, ordered it at lunchtime and within 24 hours the order was sat in my living room. The service was super speedy and I only had the free standard delivery. I was kept informed at dispatch and also when it was out for delivery. I would not hesitate in using again and recommending to others- a top class company!!
These guys pretty much told me that they don;' care about my children's safety. We asked to swap a trampoline entry door because the zip was SEWN ONTO THE WRONG SIDE. You couldn't get a more obvious manufacturing fault. BAMBINO DIRECT do everything they can to avoid dealing with the request, and are refusing to swap or refund now. I'm not sure if this company is perhaps too cash strapped to provide service correctly or not, but please, BUYER BEWARE. This is online retailing at its worst.
Great range of products including the one we wanted (Nipper OutnAbout 360 twin V2). Great low price anyway but with £15 off with a which membership deal it was super cheap. Plan to buy more for our impending twins very soon
As a new father I tried to do my bit, arranging everything we needed once we had choosen what to buy. I came across Bambino Direct and their prices were competetive, their web site did not suggest anything was out of stock so I ordered over £600 worth of stuff.
Thats when it all went wrong, buggy and high chair quick to arrive, but much needed raincover for our phil and ted's sport never arrived.
Many telephone calls and emails just resulted in apologies and empty promises on their behalf. I ended up being caught out in the rain trying to get our little one off to sleep and had to resort to removing my coat and getting drenched to try and keep buggy and baby dry.
There are obviosly much more in depth details to this unfortunate experience but needless to say for me it spoilt what should have been one of the happiest occasions in my life, just bringing me stress and hassle with their incompetance.
My only advice would be to shop elsewhere and save yourselves the stress and heartache this company is likely to bring you.

Great company to order from fast delivery and great prices
Having discovered that the local shop where we had purchased all our nursery furniture and travel system had gone bust without delivering we turned to Bambino Direct for help. They were very understanding and had all the products we needed in stock and available for delivery. They gave us a very good price and were sympathetic to our situation. The sales advisor responded quickly to emails and was very helpful. The only slight problem we had, but it's not really a criticism, was that they were too eager to deliver! We placed the order on a Friday and wanted delivery a week later but they actually arranged for delivery for the following Monday. It was resolved quickly and without any hassle. They send an email to confirm delivery date and then the night before they send a text to give you a 3hr window in which to expect the delivery. The delivery driver also rings you when they are 20-30 mins away. Overall, a pleasant experience, the products were very good quality, at a reasonable price and delivered quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company.
