Ordered a safety 1st tandem from them at a great price. Much cheaper than anywhere else. Then got more off by doing a deal and subscribing to which mag. For the money the tandem is great. Was worried at first that the service might be rubbish, hence the good deal. However everything was very smooth. Delivered straight away, all there and no problems.
It is difficult to describe how poor we have found this outfit. We ordered a Baby Amigo Vivero Sleigh Cot from them on 23 April which arrived on 26 April - so far so good.
However we only received the mattress and half of the cot. We e-messaged them to no avail then called them to find out where the rest of the cot was. Bambino Direct blamed the shipping company and the shipping company blamed Bambino Direct. Eventually, after many calls we had the other part of the cot delivered.
However part of the cot in the new package turned out to be badly damaged. The most despicable part of this sorry saga is that they must have known that the second delivery was damaged before they dispatched it as they stuck their shipping documents neatly over the massive hole in the box where the damage occurred!
We called the company to have the whole thing returned and the lady we spoke to asked us to send photos to the "returns" dept who would be in touch. Needless to say they weren't and when we called back the same lady we spoke to then booked in the return!
We have now been told that the package wont be picked up till Tuesday and that the refund wont be processed until Thursday or Friday next week, once they have the goods back.
So this firm will enjoyed the use of our money for some 3 weeks and our baby still has no cot to sleep in.
Needless to say - we would never encourage anyone to use this firm for anything.
I ordered a really nice baby bath and was expecting a delivery within 4 days for a delivery charge of £3.95 and didnt want to pay more for next day delivery but to my surprise the bath was delivered the next morning.
I must say this is a really excellent service, quick and efficient, very good, outstanding service and good product(s) at the right price.

Having twins is stressful enough without a delay on the double buggy.
I ordered a double buggy on the 2nd April with a dispatch date on April 19th. This came and went so I gave it a few more days.
By the 23rd, the buggy still hadn't arrived so I emailed Bambino. Their customer service replied promptly apologising for the delay and offering me a replacement buggy in a colour of my choosing at no extra cost.
The replacement just arrived.

I recently purchased a baby jogger city mini gt double and after getting a few good price matches contacted you and your staff ( Leanne Trunkwald) was more then helpful and even called me to do the order great customer service and will defiantly be back. She's a credit to your team :)

We ordered a pushchair from you late Tuesday night and had it by Thursday morning. You informed us continuously with mail updates and even gave an hour delivery time of 10:08-11:08. Our pushchair was delivered at 10:10!!! It couldn't have been any better! Well done Bambino Direct! Thank you
I ordered a Phil and Teds cocoon from this company in March. It is now the second week of April, I am still waiting for it to be delivered. When I contacted customer services the woman i spoke to told me that it was not in stock and i would have to wait another week. I told her that when i ordered the cocoon, there was nothing on the web site to say it was currently out of stock, she did not reply to this, but rudely went silent then said they would take payment when the cocoons were in stock. I told her that I have already paid for it in March ! So now I am anxiously waiting for it to turn up, and hoping they don't try and take payment for it again !
We have been seeking a neutral bedding bale for the new arrival and have to say grimaced at the price, we haven't paid £85+ for bedding for a king size bed! Anyhow, happened upon the bambino direct website and found the same bale for half the price...too good to be true we thought and sought reviews for the company. After careful consideration decided to take our chances with Bambino direct. I placed my order at 19:25 last night, went for free standard delivery as we aren't in a hurry, and within half an hour received a confirmation and tracking number! Being suspicious thought that can't be right, but low and behold at 13:30 this afternoon ( less than 24 hours) our bundle has been delivered securely, well packaged and of fantastic quality! I would certainly recommend Bambino Direct and will be making more purchases before our bambino arrives in the summer!
Tried to get hold of Bambino direct over the holiday period and an answerphone kicked in to say not in until tuesday. The cynic in me thought i would key in for sales and see what happened. Sure enough someone answered. See where their priorities lie. Be warned, the number for customer services is a premium rate one. 41p a minute for me ouch!!
I purchased a car seat and later I cancel the transaction. Perfect! No hassle, no queries and a full refund was issued within the hour. Later that week I changed my mind (mainly because of the competitive the price). I ordered online with only standard delivery, which according to the website is between 3-5 days. I was surprised to have the item on my doorstep the following date.
Though the price was the same as Amazon, the delivery experience was far, far better. Also, the website is easy to navigate and the returns procedure makes the whole purchasing experience plain sailing.
This is the first time I've ever used Bambino Direct after finding them randomly via a Google search. I was impressed with the wide range of baby products they sell. Products were excellent quality and are as pictured on the site. Products were delivered quickly. I also liked that the website is easy to navigate. Would definitely use again and would recommend them to other people.
The only criticism I would give would be that £50 is a fairly high amount to get free delivery but although it would be nice if it was lower I don't feel that the delivery charge is that extortionate compared to other companies.
I am not exagerating, this company offers a supperb service because they sell good products with a great price and they will deliver your purchase quickly, and I mean very quick like in the other day! I am so happy that I've finally found an online store that can do what promisses. Thank you!

I enquired via email due to having a newborn (meaning telephone calls with a baby crying can be difficult) and got a quick response from Gemma Poppleton. Gemma price matched for me offering a very competitive price and replied to all my emails straight away. She was a pleasure to deal with, I ordered that day and had my pram within a couple of days!

Ordered a out n about double rain cover - there was a hiccup, seemingly my fault, and i was charged twice. However it was dealt with quickly and effectively so I am happy with the service i was given. The product arrived in good condition and was a competitive price.
i ordered a double pram in the evening.. very cheap. had reservations about the quality as it was so cheap. paid for next day delivery and it arrived before the school run the next morning! perfect. and the quality of pram is top! would definatly recommend to friends and family :)

As i am expecting twins I had a few items i wanted to order and found bambino direct were the cheapest by far. When i was ready to place my order i realised they don't offer free delivery to my area. I contacted bambino direct through facebook and found they were very quick to reply and extremely helpful. I was advised to place my order over the telephone as they would be able to help with the delivery costs. The lady i spoke with was again very pleasent and was able to give me discount on the delivery. My order arrived within days (3days)! Very impressed by them i will definitely order again and recommend to my friends.
I called Bambinodirect yesterday to enquire about ordering the Jane Trider Matrix Travel System in Graphite which I was keen to do as soon as possible. I called and spoke to [name removed] who was extremely helpful from the start informing me that the Travel system was in stock and that if I produced some evidence they would price match. Having spoken to a few companies, who weren't as helpful as yourselves I emailed [name removed] telling her that I could get 15% of Mothercare but that I would rather order from Bambinodirect and if they could offer me 10% off I would order there and then. [name removed] came back to me straight away and said that you could offer me the extra 10% as requested and she would call me back to place the order. She did this promptly and was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I have since emailed her thanking her for her time and how much I appreciared the help when making such a large and important purchase. I just can't wait to receive it now and look forward even more to using it for our first baby!! I am a very happy customer and will certainly look to Bambinodirect firstly when making any further baby purchases.. which I will be doing very soon!! I purchased a pushchair in September 2012. The other day I noticed a problem with one of the wheels and therefore contacted Bambino Direct on the Thursday. By the next day I received an email from Bambino Direct telling me a replacement wheel had been sent out to me and would arrive on Monday. The wheel arrived on Monday morning as promised. I was very apprehensive when I discovered the problem with the wheel as I had bought the product online and therefore could not physically go to the store to return it in person but the representatives I spoke to were very knowledgeable in the process for resolving issues as well as being extremely helpful and pleasant. I didn't have to speak to various departments or people or make several calls to chase up a resolution. I work in customer service myself and therefore have very high standards for what in my opinion constitutes good customer service but to have my issue resolved within 24 hours and the wheel actually received within 48 hours exceeded my expectations. I will have no reservations in recommending Bambino Direct to anyone as in my opinion the standard of customer service in any company only becomes apparent in the way they resolve customer issues and complaints! I hadn't came across bambino direct before but was researching carseats for my child I found exactly what I was looking for, for a brilliant price. Living in Northern Ireland I didn't qualify for free delivery which is standard for a lot of companies I have encountered and realised I would have to pay a reasonable postage charge. I received a top quality item with top quality service my item was delivered a day early 24 hrs after placing my order which is fantastic have never received any items next day even when paying full next day delivery charges so I'm more than happy would definitely recommend and will be shopping with bambino again.
I found the quality of service very good from this company... The sales staff answered all my questions and met all my needs... I would fully recomend them to all my family & friends.... I didn't feel pressured into buying there products but because they listened to my needs i felt happy to to do buisness with them... Great staff great company.

I can honestly say that in all the years I have been buying online I have never dealt with a company which was have caused the amount of stress and upset that Bambino Direct have. The following is a timeline of what happened to me -
BAMBIMO DIRECT ORDER TIMELINE
5/9/12 – Order placed. Est delivery date 4/10/12
27/9/12 – Payment taken
1/10/12 – Delivery takes place
13/10/12 – Reported to company that item is faulty – missing instructions, fixtures and numerous pieces of wood
14/10/12 – Returns form completed
17/10/12 – Received instructions and fixtures from manufacturer but pieces of wood still missing
18/10/12 – Sent a list of missing pieces of wood to Bambino Direct
19/10/12 – Received message from Bambino Direct saying they’d contact returns department
22/10/12 – No message yet received from Bambino Direct so message sent by me asking for update.
23/10/12 – Still no update received. Sent another message asking for update. Message received from Bambino Direct asking me to provide possible collection dates. 2 collection dates provided.
24/10/12 – Message sent to company again asking when item would be collected.
25/10/12 – Message received from company asking me to provide possible collection dates (which I had done on the 23/10/12)
26/10/12 – Left message on Bambino Direct Facebook page regarding return. Telephone call received from company. Collection booked for 29/10/12.
29/10/12 – Item not collected by Parcelforce. 3 premium rate phone calls made to Parcelforce regarding this.
30/10/12 – Item collected by Parcelforce. Phone call received from Bambino Direct saying that replacement item should be delivered on Thursday and that I would receive telephone updates.
31/10/12 – No telephone update received. Message left on Facebook asking if return has been received.
1/11/12 – Email received from Bambino Direct saying return not yet received – it should be received tomorrow (2/11/12).
Further email then received saying delivery should take place 5/11/12
Phone call received from Claire @ BD re: collection date. Apologised re: late collection.
5/11/12 – Changer delivered however numerous pieces missing. Noted that box states ‘Item 1 of 2’ on it, hence there should be 2 boxes sent out not just one. Box refused and sent back with delivery men. Numerous calls made to Claire Fox, 2 answerphone messages left and a phonecall made to Customer Services. I eventually reached her at 17.30 by again ringing their premium rate phoneline. I explained the problem to her, she spoke to the warehouse and rang me back 20 mins later. I said I would drive to Hudderfield (their showroom) and collect it on Sunday because I didn't trust them to deliver the correct thing.
I picked up my item on Sunday having driven to Huddersfield (180 mile round trip). I was given a shelf which matches the changer which was a gesture of goodwill, and I appreciate but to be honest the amount of stress and upset which the whole situation caused it didn't really make up for much. In an ideal world I would have cancelled the order and ordered from elsewhere but nowhere else would have been able to deliver it before my due date.
If you are going to order from this company please go in with your eyes open! The prices are very good but I would have rather paid more and not had the stress and upset which I went through. It was honestly awful.
