My shoes were delivered really promptly and were slighty too small, I exchanged them for the next size up and received them also within a couple of days. The original order was credited promptly and the whole process was really efficient. Trainers are excellent.

The website is clear and easy to navigate. There is lots of clear information about all of the shoes and the video reviews are a great touch, really useful. Delivery was fast and free, and prices are competitive. It is great that there is now a British barefoot shoes specialist shop on the web.

I luckily discovered this shop on a google search. Returns policy is as good as a high street shop. Lovely staff who are more than happy to give advice. Will be shopping here again when they current runners have worn out.

I was looking to buy a new pair of zero-drop running shoes and had almost decided to buy from Amazon (due to availability) but was somewhat unhappy doing so due to them monopolizing the market more and more. By a stroke of luck I came across this site. Nice website, good content, small but well targeted selection of products and a decent ordering process. Ordered my choice of shoes and they were processed in record time. Delivery was also prompt. Only negative was some socks that I was considering not being available in my size. For my first purchase, I am very satisified and will be returning again.

As soon as I started looking for some barefoot shoes I found this website and was glad I did. The reviews of products are extremely handy when trying to decide on a shoe. Delivery was free and almost instant. I will definitely be buying my next pair of barefoot shoes from here. Also it's great to have the training information and instructions other than those from each shoe's manufacturer.

I bought a pair of Vivo Barefoot trainers from Barefoot Athlete for an unbeatable price, which was £40 lower than the price charged by some other websites. As I was looking for advice about the appropriate size to buy for my husband, I called the company and spoke to someone who was able to give friendly and accurate advice. The trainers arrived swiftly, in perfect condition and were carefully packaged to ensure that they kept their shape. My husband was very pleased!

Found my new Inov-8 @ Barefoot Athlete to the lowest price amongst the 8 sites I checked. Delivery from UK to Denmark was fast (5 working days). No problems at all. I will therefore recommend Barefoot Athlete to everyone.

Everything you expect from modern E-commerce

I normally try and buy for a local shop on principle, but Barefoot running shoes aren’t free available in a small market town like rugby.

The reason why I’m taking time to this survey is that Barefoot Athlete took the time to respond to my e-mail requesting advice on the product I bought from them, plus I also found the Youtube review were useful (it’s how I found the site)

Good shoes on offer

l am happy with the shoes received....yet there was a mix up with my postal address and the original shoes were sent to the wrong destination. l then received the original shoes and the 2nd choice pair (after having to reorder and track down the shoes via Royal Mail) on the same day, that being a few days after the expected date...
If Barefoot Athlete had handled this with a simple apology for the inconvenience, it would had made a big difference, as it was left to me to find the time to send back one pair of the shoes.

Our error was that we gave you the wrong tracking reference which led you to believe that your shoes had been sent to the wrong address. We immediately agreed to ship another pair. Infact both shoes were shipped to the correct address and both pairs arrived at your address.
I apologise that you have suffered the inconvience of returning one of the pairs. We will of course refund your return postage costs.

Utterly faultless

Called for advice, was given candidly, without bias to a product. Coaching tips were given by a qualified barefoot coach, told him my requirements and concerns. He recommended a product with no strings attatched. I bought the shoes, I love the shoes, I will be buying more shoes in the future. Fantastic service, swift delivery. An all together pleasant experience!

Fantastic service.

The Barefoot Athlete had my favourite Vivo Barefoot Neo Trail shoes at a very good price. They arrived quickly and VAT had been taken off (We're outside the EU). I was also impressed that instructions for barefoot/minimal shoe beginners had been included- it's very easy to get injured at first if you're used to cushioned shoes.
I'll definitely be ordering from them again.
By the way the Neo Trails look minimal, but I walked the Pennine Way in them in April (lots of snow) and for the first time on hiking trip didn't get a single blister.

A1 thanks. I had a real problem in getting the right size specific running shoe that I wanted and ended up ordering 5 pairs in total over 3 orders ! The orders arrived to the North of Scotland next day every time and the refund was equally as quick when I returned the surplus.
Thanks for your patience and excellent service. The Merrell Trail Glove is a lovely shoe to run in but make sure that you order a whole size larger than you would normally use !
