Good product but after sales lacks follow through.

I bought a galaxy P shower bath with extra reinforcing. The bath is good, though there is overspray from the grey fibreglass underside which is stuck to the top bath surface under the protective film which will need carfull removal.

When we unpacked we found there was no instructions for the bath assembly - lots and lots of screws(12) with wall plugs with no apparent purpose, amongst the other stuff. When I called the company I was assured someone would send me instructions. The next day I called again and was told again someone would send me instructions and/or someone from the technical team would call. Still no joy. Finally a few days later I called again and spoke to someone who had installed some of these himself. He gave some explanation but I didn't go through all the screws and bits as he assured me he would send me instructions. Nothing arrived (after giving my email address yet again). All the staff were friendly and helpful, but no-one followed through. I still don't know why the 12 large screws with wall plugs - there are only 2 metal brackets which I assume are to fix the bath to the wall. I was told to use the small screws to fix the leg brackets to the base of the bath, but this then meant there were not enough for the white clips which we assumed were for attaching the bath panel (he did explain finally they were to be attached to the wood blocks on the underside rim). It seems to be a generic pack for any type of bath, as we still have lots of bits over.
The lack of instructions are the only problem - the bath was delivered on the day I requested and at all times I was treated with friendliness and respect. We did find instructions with the shower screen, which didn't really need an explanation. We are experienced home renovators (18 houses) so its not because we were dim that we needed instructions!

    I am sorry to hear you had difficulties with the bath fixing legs, the legs packs are universal and will fit a number of our baths that we supply, you have given me a idea that the next time I fit one of these baths I will take pictures and write a instruction guide that I will then put on the website.

    With reference to your call back please accept my apologies personally as one of the girls called me personally as I was working in the showroom that day and it’s easier to explain the leg packs and each screw when you have the product in front of you, I did try and call your contact details and left a message with my showroom number on to call me back but I heard nothing so I presumed you had sorted it.

    I do distinctly remember doing this as I had took the panels of the bath in the showroom before I made the call, it’s just such a shame the instructions stopped us from getting the 5 stars.

    I was glad to hear that you were happy with the service and the way the team handled your calls.
