ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE

Beauty Bay is absolutely horrible to deal with. As stated by many customers, I do not usually write reviews but for this, I have made an exception. Order place on 14 December. Did not receive it, waited 20 working days as directed and still did not arrive. Contacted customer service after telling them I had waited 20 working days and also contacted my local post office who said they did not have my parcel. Beauty Bay replied with - check your local post office your item is on its way. What a joke!! I already checked post office numerous times and mentioned this to Beauty Bay them yet they still asked me to check the post office. The item was obviously not coming - 20 working day i.e. 1 month is way too long. They gave me the option of a refund or replacement. I chose replacement as I thought it was a simple error and that it could be quickly and easily replaced. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. They agreed to send me a replacement and saying "We've received your completed claim form and can confirm your request will be processed for you as soon as possible. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by the loss of your original order by the postal services." I waited a further 3 weeks - 21 days and the item had still not arrived. Had to contact them again and asked for a refund seeing as they did not take my order seriously and I had waited almost 2 months for it!! They replied saying "Apologies for the delay in processing your Lost Order claim form and for any subsequent inconvenience caused. I can confirm that this has now been actioned and the appropriate replacement will be with you very shortly." WHAT A JOKE! They had not even processed my form after a further 21 days!!!! And I asked to change to a refund not a replacement seeing as they could not be bothered to send the replacement in the first place after receiving my claim form. Obviously ignored my request as they sent me an email 12 hours later saying it had just been dispatched. What kind of customer service is this?! I assume will take over 2 weeks to arrive bringing it to a grand total of 2.5 months (Assuming this time it actually arrives) for items I have already purchased elsewhere because I had to wait so long. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT SHOP HERE. WASTED $200, 2 months and hours of my life trying to resolve something that I supposed to make your life easier.

horrible it does not deserve a star its that horrible

i placed my order on Jan 15 and i have yet to receive it. i have contacted them and they can't give me any information about my order they keep telling me to contact my post l office and i have contacted them and they do not have my package. Besides, you order online because its convienent to shop online and have it mailed to your house so why do i have to take time to call the post office everyday so i can eventually go pick up my package? !!! how ridiculous and i find it so absurd you have to pay to possibly get a tracking number!!!!! i also tried to cancel my order and they said they can not do that because my order has been processed but once i get my order i can return it.. how am i suppose to return my item if i haven't received it?
I am so disappointed i never write reviews but i had to take the time out of my day to write this review!!!!! to warn people about their poor customer service well poor service in general!!!!! horrible horrible horrible this will be the last time i order anything from beauty bay again

A mostly positive experience.

This was my first experience with Beauty Bay and I have mixed feelings about it. My delivery took a little longer than expected to arrive (14 working days as opposed to the estimated 10) which was a little disappointing. Thankfully, customer service were helpful and quick to respond to my queries about delivery. Considering the shipping was free and unable to be tracked outside the UK, for me, this slightly late delivery is not a deal breaker.
The free shipping, broad selection of genuine brands (many of which are not available in AUS) and competitive pricing are all redeeming factors and I certainly will shop with Beauty Bay again. However, if future consumers require their order in a hurry, I would not recommend the international saver option of delivery.

Fine priser, gode produkter og fantastisk indpakning!

Jeg bestilte Urban Decay Naked 3 paletten på beautybay d. 12.1., til en super fin pris synes jeg! Der var gratis fragt, men jeg valgte at betale omkring 26,- for at kunne tracke pakken. Jeg modtog en email d. 14.1., da pakken blev sendt, med et link til en hjemmeside hvorpå jeg kunne tracke pakken. Dette fungerede dog ikke så godt. Siden den 15.1. var det eneste der stod, at min pakke var blevet afsendt og var på vej til det lokale udleveringscenter(?). Det var lidt frusterende at jeg ikke kunne følge min pakke, når jeg nu endda havde betalt ekstra for at kunne det! Næste gang vælger jeg nok ikke den funktion, lidt spild af penge. Jeg ventede spændt, og eftersom jeg på siden var blevet lovet en leveringstid på 5-7 dage blev jeg lidt nervøs da pakken efter de lovede antal dage ikke var dukket op. Jeg læste forskellige anmeldelser og så at andre fra DK også havde haft lidt problemer med lang leveringstid, så det beroligede mig lidt. I går, d. 28.1 dukkede min pakke så endelig op :D Den var pakket så godt ind! Den kom i en lille papkasse, og så egentlig ikke ud til at være pakket så godt ind, men da jeg åbnede pakken, var paletten både pakket tæt ind i bobleplast og noget solidt brunt papir. Jeg er rigtig tilfreds med min handel med beautybay, det eneste jeg kan sætte en finger på er leveringstiden, men den er der jo ikke så meget at gøre ved! Fin, fin hjemmeside! :) Jeg er i hvert fald tilfreds!

I had a delivery issue - which took 2 months to be delivered. I was perfectly aware that my order could take longer than the usual, due to the holidays. That was exactly what happened. I contacted customer support and they were really nice. My order finally arrived and I sent this message to them: This message is just to say that my order was finally delivered. whohoo! Also, I'd like to thank Beauty Bay for the commitment and for the fantastic support. It's not my first purchase and it won't be the last. You care about your customer, no matter where he/she is. When I need a hair product, beautybay.com is the first place I go - ALWAYS. Even though it's a british company and I live in Brazil, it worths the distance. You're amazing.

Horrible shipping time/details

I have paid for the possibility to track my shipment. But the only entry is from the date the order has been processed at the UK export facility. Since then there are no updates.This is 6 working days ago....

This is clearly annoying and I'll never select Beautybay Again. I'll stick to [external reference] and [external reference] in future.

Ridiculously long delivery time

I purchased a Joico shampoo on the 9th of Jan. Now it's already the 23th of Jan, way past 10 working days but I have yet to see my parcel arrive in my mail. I would appreciate if Beauty Bay would refund my money to me and I'm definitely not going to purchase from this website ever again period.

Horrible shop and customer service!!!

I ordered 29/10/2013 15:17 and still doesnt recieved my order. I contacted with customer service and they didnt said me any information about my parcel. Talked just that they have problems with shipping and will inform me about changes. I asked them to refund me my money but they said NO. I am shocked...awful shop

Too long delivery

I have purchased on Jan 9th and still did not get my goods. I can not get any information if I will get it.
It says 5-7 days delivery. So I did not expect 12 days. or even more. And I still do not know if I ever will get it.

We can confirm that your order was dispatched on the 9th January. As it contains a Hair Spray, it cannot be sent by Airmail, and has been sent by road. This does take longer for delivery.

Waste of time and money - after 2 months the problem solved!

I orderdered a christmas present for my husband on 13th of December and I still did not get it. The Hungarian postal service does not know anything about it. I asked Beautybay.com who is the English and the Hungarian postal service but they did not answer ( I guess they have no idea). I lost money, time, and faith in ordering from UK, however I ordered several times from UK, and had no problem with getting the items.


After I wrote my opinion here, I got a letter and they wanted to help me. I apprechiate it. I answered and nothing happened...... After one week I asked again if I should wait any longer or forget about money or the Item I ordered. They were very sorry and promised to post it again. And guess what............. I got it today, and I was very happy!

Beats Sephora!

I've orded from BeautyBay for the past four-five years or so, and despite travelling the world, this company stands out for several reasons. Not only are their prices very competive and lower than in-store prices, but they also have an excellent selection of brands, both high-and-low end, including hard-to-find brands such as Rouge Bunny Rouge and Paul and Joe. They also have frequent sales, on EVERYTHING, which is very rare. They also provide superb customer service and rapid delivery (which is free!!!). All in all, there is no other place I'd rather shop including Sephora!!!!

my osder was not delivered to me but found by a nieghbour behund a hedge

I e mailed not having yet rec my order and was told after 15 days it was my responsibility to chase it up!!
The order was found half a mile away by a neighbour who was clearing leaves from under a hedge. the packaging had disintegrated and only a bit of the invoice was complete. fortunately it was a piece with my name on it.
beauty box have not supplied me with a reason for this or the name of the courier they used.

Nice place to shop make up

Good price (compared to other European countries) and nice range of products. I live in Germany and had no problems with the delivery. I would like they could also accept paypal.
i tried the premium service in the first order but I did not find the gift so useful. It´s a dusche shower and cream samples. Not bad, just a matter of taste and lucky.

Disappointed with the customer service and still waiting for my order after 1 month

I purchased an item on 28/11/13. I was supposed to receive my order before christmas but i was busy and went for holiday, hoping to get it after i got back from my holiday. Since then, i am still waiting for my order. I emailed the customer service last 2 weeks and received an email regarding to my tracking number. The last update of the delivery was on 2/12/13. The delivery method is international saver & i understand that i will not have the end to end tracking number but it has been more than a month now, so i should be wondering. Today i emailed the customer service again & received the same email again. I would really appreciate if anyone in charged would inspect this matter, not just by sending me the same email regarding on how to track my order and not doing anything about it. If i do not receive my order next week or this matter can't be solved, i want a full refund. The indicated delivery time is not convincing and i shall say my first shopping experience with beautybay is not pleasant. I hope beautybay could improve on the delivery matter (even if it's international saver), so that you won't lose any potential customers in the future. Thanks.

hough the package was a bit damaged the product was completetly intact. And with the free shipping everything just got better. looking forward to ordering again.
