Not looking promising

I placed an order on 11th July which qualified for free next day delivery as it was over the £30 required, £61.92 to be precise. I did not receive an email confirmation at the time of order which seemed unusual. It is now 20th July and still no delivery. I have sent an email which was ignored and I have telephoned twice, only to get the answer machine. It was at this point that I googled for reviews, only to come across this thread. Wish I had seen if before I placed an order. 1 star is because I couldn't leave no stars, which is what I would prefer to leave.


I managed to get through to speak to someone a few days after this post and the was told that my order had been held back as one of the items was out of stock. Don't know why they didn't just send a partial order!!! I was given a new delivery date and as I was working away on that date I had to delay that. Next date was Tues 14th Aug, which has been and gone and still no delivery. This is beyond ridiculous now. I am trying to get in touch again and now considering Trading Standards.

Just managed to get through and my order was dispatched this morning. I await with bated breath!!!!

Complained to Trading Standards

I advise you do the same. They are obviously trying to get all the customers who buy sex toys buying from them, but are not actually the cheapest, not do they deliver quickly.

They. Really. Suck.

Why do I have to give them 1 star? They are 0 stars, the 1 star is merely so I can post.

WTF?

4 days ago I ordered from them with a next-day delivery.
Now my order status is "Pending"
I don't know why.
I send more email to them daily but answer does not arrive.

I thought I would post a review as I have just seen the negative reviews
below and I don't understand why. I have been ordering from
Bedroompleasures.co.uk for a year now and I have never had any problems at
all. I have always been able to speak to someone if I needed to and the
girls there are very friendly. I will always order from this site as I
trust them 100% with my orders as they are very discrete. Keep up the good
work as you have never let me down.

Avoid...

I've made two orders from this company, while the first order was dealt with swiftly the 2nd order (after new management) was not as smooth.

I placed an order that meant I could have next day special delivery for free, all items where listed as in stock. While the item did arrive "next day" there was a 3 day delay before it was despatched. Kind of pointless having a next day delivery if you wait 3 days before sending!

I sent them two emails in that time, neither was replied to.

As far as the items go, everything was as the website described it.

Overall not a terrible experience, but certainly makes me think twice before using them again.


13th/nov/2012 edit: I gave them another chance. My order was less than £13 (with 1st class post) the item was claimed to be in stock and still is shown that way. However it still shows as pending on my account after a week of waiting.

In my honest opinion I really believe that this company does not keep any stock and they simply order it in as orders come in through the site, hence the long waits people are receiving. The terrible (or more accurately non-existent) customer service also leaves a terrible taste in ones mouth. I gave them a second chance and I honestly wish I hadn't bothered. Needless to say I will never use them again.

I have no idea what happened to them since my first purchase with them, but what ever it was, it has forever turned me away from them.

21/11/2012 edit: So after finally receiving an email I was told they didn't in fact have stock and that it would come on Monday (19th) no surprise there having read other reviews. Come Wednesday (two weeks since I made the order) no item. At this point I ordered elsewhere and rang bedroompleasures to cancel my order.

On that note I would like to say the person I spoke to on the phone (which was answered quickly) was both polite and helpful. I spent less than 2 minutes on the phone and would have to say that was one of the more present customer support experiences I have had, it's a shame everything else wasn't as smooth with the company as a whole.

Bedroompleasures are online robbers

Well, where do I begin with this one. To keep it short and sweet, I placed an order online early in February to buy a cheeky Valentines gift for the wife. After numerous telephone calls and emails I still HAVE NOT received anything at all. No goods and certainly no refund as I have checked again earlier today. I would suggest you take note of the other comments below and avoid this company at all costs. Well if you value your hard earnt money you should.

next day didn't turn up!

Load of rubbish, if I order and pay for next day delivery I expect it to be delivered next day!

Not as bad as people say... But still...

I pruchased something from them a few weeks ago, payment was taken straight away, and an email of conformation sent to me - albeit to my spam folder. I then came to this site and saw all the reviews saying it was a scam... Pretty worrying... I then emailed them a few times about the situation with no reply what so ever...

My goods finally arrived this morning, exactly as described on the webstie...

So in my case, not a scam; but the items were about 10 days late, and they do not reply to emails what so ever.

I won't be rushing back to them, but they're not scammers IMO...

Not too bad

Ordered item and received delivery within one week. Very pleased.

Ordered something from this website a week ago now, and so far they've taken my money, sent me a receipt for the item, but no shipping notice (as it's recorded delivery) or anything in the mail. Been sending them emails via their website, but so far no reply.

Wish I'd read the reviews before buying..

Received my order this morning, over a week after it should have arrived. As I understand they had trouble with their computer system, so no replies to the messages I sent them, but when I called they picked up almost immediately and took down my number.

Don't think they're scammers, but they do seem overwhelmed..

Underestimated

Well... I may have a confession. I ordered goods on Thursday before 12 and spent over £50 but then checked myvouchercodes for a 10% off voucher so used that code to save money but still qualified for the next day delivery as over £50. When Friday came i was calling them all day, left 2 voicemails and never got a reply out of my 30 calls as the parcel was being delivered to my work and i wanted the royal mail tracking reference to check online where it was as I have an early finish on Friday's. When i never heard back & no calls being answered I checked this site for reviews and read all the bad ones, shit a brick thinking i had been conned so sent them a shitty email but with no response. When i got home from work I received an email saying my tracking reference and saying the parcel had been dispatched and also an apology... Eeek, checked royal mail and true the parcel had been received by them. Checked Royal mail again on saturday (today) and my parcel had arrived. So.... DONT BE PUT OFF BY THIS WEBSITE CAUSE IT SCARED THE SHIT INTO ME THIKING IT WAS A CON AND IT WASN'T!! GOT MY PARCEL TODAY AND VERY PLEASED. DISCREET PACKAGING TOO. I would use them again but not holding my breath for next day delivery.... Think i'll order a few days before I really want my next order.

Don't understand...all been great

Everything has been excellent here - i ordered - paid and the product arrived 2 days later. Sorted.
Ordered again - this time out of stock - emailed and got a response within 24 hours (was actually 5) and they gave me a stock update. That was delayed and so they contacted me again (same person) and offered a refund or a different product. Chose a different product and once again in my mail box 2 days later.

!!! Avoid !!!

They state item is in stock,take payment from account and don't dispatch.
They then promise refund which never arrives.
It's take years to get money back !!!

Poor

Ordered an item and never heard from them after initial confirmation e mail. Fortunately paid by paypal so could get a full refund.

SCAM

Didn't know there was this many scams within this company.

I've made an order on 26th May and money was taken the next day. I received no order, so I cancelled on the 10th June. They say money will be refunded within 7 days. Guess what no refund, so I called them on the 20th June, they know I cancelled and they say they'll get onto the accounts department. I still have not received my refund. I tried calling and emailling them, and I get no replies within emails.

managed to speak to somebody on order line who said......yep you guessed it "your silencer was out of stock but its just arrived this morning so will be with you in 2-5 days. She also told me that they was aware of bad reveiws but these where extreme cases. however i am yet to find a single person that has ever had a good experiance. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!

As all the other reviews say this company is definatly a scam! I just wish i had looked for reviews before ordering! My experience is exactly the same as everyone elses, i ordered from them, few weeks later order is still 'pending' and have had no replys from my numerous attemps of contacting them. I'm so gutted that they are just able to get away with this =[

Robbery without violence?

I ordered a couple of items back in Nov 2010,and followed up with e mails after they didn't appear. Money was taken from my account immediately of course at the time the internet order was made.

They tell me a long list of excuses and show my order is pending repeatedly. However their website advertises items in stock that can be dispatched for delivery in 24hrs.

I'm going to Trading Standards.

Even worse, my card details were ripped off about the time of this internet order and used to order alsorts of stuff, fortunately my bank was on to it swiftly and I didn't suffer any loss as a result.

Hopefully by now the banks and or police will be following up and someone will be entertained as a guest of Aunty Betty

Don't use them, all that's said below is true

The same as everyone else. Order placed on 17th Dec and advertised as 1-3 days delivery. Now end of Jan and still nothing. Guess what, it's the snows fault! As far as i recall we've not had snow for weeks. Having read the review i finally called and emailed and got a response. Guess what, offered alternative products or told it would be 10 days! Exactly the same as people below. It's a con, they've obviously got a small warehouse with limited stock and trying to falsly claim they have massive stocks. Just don't buy from them if you don't want to waste your money.

Same story as every other review. Item out of stock. Promised a refund which never arrived. Then fobbed off with various cock & bull stories.
Eventually got my money back thanks to Paypal.

I wish I'd bothered to read the reviews before I used this company, same story as everyone else - constantly told they are waiting for stock. Practically non-existent customer service.

As stated by others, they take your money and never send your order. They don't respond to email, they do have a call center but they only promise to 'call you back' Simple scam site that found its way to the top of google results. Shame for google, truly. Don't use this site

Similar experience to others. I placed order and was charged immediately, but never received the goods. One time I spoke to a member of their staff and was told item would be sent, it never was. Phoned and emailed many other times and received no response. This company should be closed down as it just doesn't deliver.

Same experience as the whole lot. Placed order and got no e-mail confirmation. Started sending e-mails after 2 weeks but no response.
Card was of course charged immediately. I'm now trying to contact my bank for refund, but hopes are thin...

I am yet another innocent customer who was drawn in by the false advertising of this company. Again goods instock (supposedly), delivery promised in 1-3 days, no answers to e-mail and no answer to telephone calls.
I have now involved my credit card company but this unfortunately can take months!!
I presummed this was a genuine website (so have thousands of others it appears) it was only by not recieving any response to my e-mails after 2 days and being met by a never ending engaged tone or ringing tone on the customer service contact number that I suspected fraudulent activity.
There is a saying that what goes around comes around I sincerely hope the cockney tossers who own this business get there come uppance given all the inconvenience so many genuine customers have suffered at the hands of these fraudsters.

Yet another unhappy customer

I too ordered from these people. Same as the rest, received an email stating item was out of stock (website says item is in stock), recieved an email saying it would be dispatched next day when new stock comes in. Still nothing. 24 hrs Sales helpline diverts to a mobile, which is never answered. Emails not returned. Site is a scam. Scam, never purchase

I, like many others, have the same problem. I purchased items, they wrote back after a week that the items are not in stock and it will take a week before they can ship the items. I wrote back that I don't want to wait and want to cancel my purchase. I wrote many emails afterwards asking them to refund the money. They once wrote for 15 days ago that "I have chased up this refund with our accounts team and will come back to you when I hear something further." and then never replied back to my mails and never refunded. Today is a month past since they charged my card. I am going to my bank to place a chargeback. Too bad they even exist.

I too have had this same problem. Bought itesm that were in stock. recieved an email that they were out of staock and had my emails and phone calls ignored. Waiting for Paypal to take up a dispute if no response soon. Feels like a scam.

Bedroompleasures let me down on 3 consecutive occasions.

Awful con, take money never deliver

I'm afraid my experience is the same as other users. they charge your credit card but never reply to emails or answer phone, they certainly never deliver the goods. DON'T GO NEAR THIS SITE!

Bedroom pleasure my a*se!

after placing an order with so called bedroom pleasure, HA! my money was immediately taken from my account, 5 days later i final heard from them and was told the item was out off stock. fair enough, but should only been 10 days before it came in. 3 weeks later, nothing. i emailed to cancelled my order and demand my refund. they immediately emailed back "the item just came in today and we can immediately dispatch them out" hearing this i was gullibly and kept my order, 3 days later i resived an email, "thanks for your resist purchase. we're sorry but this item is out of stock, but it should be with us within a week"... horrible website! untrustworthy. its a pure scam! i hope no one else does business with this company!! Never again!
