Excellent Service

I ordered a 3 + 2 seater leather sofas over the Internet, I was surprised how quick their service was. I live on Corfu, Greece and normally when ordering items it takes weeks to arrive this company delivered in 9 days right to my door. The customer service was excellent and thanks to Michael we were kept up to date with our order. I would recommend and use this company again.

Aweful experience, damaged item with no response

I bought a table that I was very excited to receive. As I was unable to inspect the table properly due to the delivery company refusing, I had to accept delivery. I then found a fault and reported it immediately. After not hearing back for a number of months with any decisions, I had to buy another table (it was for home working). Eventually, I had a completely unacceptable response, which I only obtained by complaining through my credit card company; that I had to pay for an independent inspector to come and inspect the table (even though I sent photos that very clearly showed damage) and if they found a fault they would repair or replace, which clearly after I had bought another table, would leave me with 2 tables. In essence I have had this table taking up what little space I have, stored for the past 9 months and have had to sell it for an 1/8 of the original price. [Name] and the other lady who worked there are extremely rude and put the phone down on me and ignored me on several occasions. I'm sure they are lovely when taking your money but the after care service is ridiculous! I will never buy from the again and urge you not to!

We believe that this review does not accurately reflect our customers experience when buying from us.

The console table was delivered on 23rd January 2013. 13 days later (4th February) we received a call from our customer to notify us of a fault with their furniture which was then followed up by an email.
The email states “the table was checked thoroughly when it was received by my partnerthis damage was missed”.
The review states “I was unable to inspect the table properly due to the delivery company refusing, I had to accept delivery. I then found a fault and reported it immediately.”

Here is the complete email from 4th February 2013 @ 13:30.

“Dear Bedsite

Please find attached photos from a recent order I received. Although the table was checked thoroughly when it was received by my partnerthis damage was missed; It can only be seen in certain lights, and something that has now only been noticed once it has been placed in the room of choice. It appears that the foam in the corner of the table is a slightly different shape underneath or was cut out and replaced. Etiher way; you can see that underneath something has gone wrong.

Please advise as to the next step. I would be willing to accept a decent discount on the item, in order to save time and money of return delivery and replacement.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Thank you.”

We forwarded the email complaint which also contained images on to the manufacturer of the console table for their comments. The manufacturer did not consider that there was a manufacturing defect and expressed concerns over the customers delay in notifying us. Our customer signed to say that the furniture was received in good condition and agreed to notify us within three days were they to discover anything which was not noticed at the time of delivery.

When customers keep the original packaging then we are able to accept returns in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Further to the comment in your review;

On 11 March 2013 10:31 we received an email advising stating “this isnt good enough” and advising that given “your unsatisfactory response, I will now take this further”
On 15th July we then received a phone call and follow up email from your credit card company advising of your claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

Your review is dated yesterday (6th November 2013), some 8 months since we last had communication with you and 4 months since we spoke with your credit card company.

Your file was closed with us for the second time over 4 months ago and we cannot accept responsibility for the sale price of furniture we supply which customers then chose to resell.

Excellent service and quality product

Fantastic service and come highly recommended. We bought a new double bed; the guys at bedsite knew exactly what they were talking about when we enquired about whst we wanted, they made a couple of excellent recommendations and once we'd ordered the bed arrived when they said it would. I love my immense bed...

They were really friendly when they delivered it, the actually bed itself is the comfiest thing that I have ever lay on, and I sleep better now than I have done in years. I love my bed. Beds for all!

Excellent Advice and delivery team.

They took the time to explain all my options before i bought my bed. The delivery team were professional and gave accurate arrival times. I will be using them again when I get a bed for my spare room.

Dunlopillo Bed

I bought my Dunlopillo Memoir bed and ROM Deimos sofa from Bedsite. Both are excellent quality, and the mattress is a life saver at the moment, my wife is still having a great night sleep despite being 6 months pregnant. Delivery on the bed took 21 days from the fate of order and the sofa took 8 weeks to be made and sent.

i wana say thanks to bedsite for excellent quality bed and mattress which i purchased after my wedding, and my wife like the quality infact she is very particular about the quality of furniture always. I got delivery on time and they peovided me all the things with in my price range.
