We ordered two double divan beds, as we were moving house, once we were inside our new home, we discovered that one of the beds was a bit too big for the space allowed, we then phoned bed world and explained the situation, to see if we could exchange it for a slightly smaller one, as the original had never been opened, we where expecting them to say that there would be a delivery charge, but when they explained the cost of exchanging the bed to a slightly smaller one , would be the same cost as just buying a new bed, we did offer to drive down to their warehouse to exchange the beds, but they still wanted to charge £69.00, I would not recommend this company to anyone else found them very unhelpful
The telephone girls were very helpful as I needed the bed to be delivered to a different address, they were very understanding and I was emailed confirmation of the change within a few minutes. The bed was delivered to my daughter -in-law who informs me
she was telephoned to say the bed would arrive in approx 1 hour and it did. The delivery guys were very helpful. My son put the bed together in about 35 minutes and thanks you also for the 2 complimentary pillows. Definitely recommend this company.

The bed was of good quality but it was difficult to build as there were no instructions and the screws were loose in the box. Also i asked for the delivery date to be changed to a day (which was agreed upon) i was in but it was delivered twice on days i had specified that i would not be in!
I tried to order a bed and matress through suppliers we'd used before such as Dunelm and I found that everything I selected was out of stock. Bedworld not only held the stock but exceeded my requirements and safely delivered next day!
We bought a bed on Friday evening. On Monday my girlfriend called to ask what would be happening with the bed. Bedworld said the bed would arrive at theirs the following day (Tuesday), would be looked over and would then be dispatched to us for delivery on Wednesday. All good!
On Wednesday she phoned again and Bedworld confirmed the bed had arrived just after 2pm and would soon be looked over. Delivery the following day was agreed. Again, so far so good.
I arranged to work from home on Wednesday so that I could accept delivery. When no news had arrived by 10am - no email, no text, no calls - I called Bedworld to ask what time to expect the bed. It was here that my experience of Bedworld changed drastically and I discovered how rude their staff are (and how thick the girl who answers the main number is), because they will just say "bear with me" and put you on hold. No "Do you mind if I put you on hold for a minute?" - just "bear with me" and bang, they're gone. I was put on hold like this several times.
Eventually I was put through to someone with a little more between her ears, but who quickly started lying to me about what was said before. She claimed the bed had not been delivered from the manufacturer yet, despite my girlfriend having been told the day before that it had. She implied my version of events was not true until I gave her the name of the woman my girlfriend had been speaking to - it was her!
She said she would investigate and call me back in half an hour.
Over an hour later I had received no call so I called back. No answer. I tried the main number and got through to the air-head again. She reminded me of Bubble from Absolutely Fabulous. Eventually the liar came to the phone and gave me a half-arsed apology for having failed to call me back as promised.
She said our bed wasn't going to be available until the weekend at the earliest. I reminded her that my girlfriend had been told the bed was ready the day before and asked how it could go from "ready" to "not ready for another 5 days". She accepted at this point they had made a mistake.
I asked to cancel my order. I'd had enough of their lies and their incompetence and decided I wasn't going to reward such behaviour with my custom. Even if I had to wait twice as long and create a new order elsewhere, that's what I was going to do.
The liar gave a half-arsed attempt at getting me to change my mind but after seeing that wasn't going to happen she used the "bear with me" line and transferred me to someone more senior who tried to do the same thing. I insisted on a cancellation and told this woman why. She said ok, and nothing else. No apology, no admission of failure. Nothing.
I then sent an email confirming my wish to cancel in writing so as not to give these clowns any reason to "forget" to give me my refund.

Good bed, inexpensive but needed next day delivery on a saturday. Rang in advance of ordering to check they could do this- CS said that was possible and would deliver sat before 5:30pm. Ordered online feeling relieved. They rang later that day- they couldn't deliver on a Saturday next day because they only had certain areas they delivered to on a saturday and central Harrogate was not one of them! Their showroom is in Yorkshire- hardly a great distance away.They couldn't deliver till tuesday. 2 nights sleeping on a campbed and had to arrange for somebody to take delivery whilst at work- uncomfortable and inconvenient. When I had suggested that we cancel order they said we had to do it in writing even though only ordered online a couple of hours before. Bad form really.
Very unhappy with This company. Place order for a next day delivery, Company phoned to say they could not deliver as they did not do deliveries my way on specified date.....I then explained i needed bed by a set date, this was then guaranteed for a set delivery date only to be followed by a phone call to say Sorry we can not deliver on that date.
Not Impressed. asked for money back.

Good competitive price and bed seems good on first inspections. However delivery experience was poor. Although given a quick delivery date, the delivery failed on the day due to the lorry breaking down. I was not informed of this fact until 2 hours after my time slot, having waited in all morning. Due to this I requested a pm delivery for the following day, but instead was given an am delivery. Delivery men a little on the amateur side.
I ordered the goods on the 28th November, and they were delivered by lunchtime
on the 29th. I was kept fully informed by text message and then recieved a call
15 minutes prior to the vehilce arriving. very good excellent service.
I would use the site again was it not for the delivery not being on time they only put half the base on the truck an had to deliver a day late
Bed matches the description and is a sturdy piece of furniture. Unfortunately the delivery of the bed arrived a day late which had implications of ensuring somebody was in to accept the delivery. If delivery is going to be changed for any reason, the customer should always be informed. Also the bed came with a missing piece, a fastener to join the wooden slack to the metal frame.
Excellent service, ordered on line. Great communication, text the night before with 4 hr delivery slot, then phone call day of delivery to state time . 2 delivery drivers who carried bed and base in to house. Overall a very good experience and top quality bed
I ordered a bed on 'next day delivery' and a headboard with 1-2 weeks delivery. I naturally thought the bed would be delivered next day and the headboard in 1-2 weeks as the T & Cs state that items could be delivered on separated dates if one is not in stock. So I waited in all day for a courier. The 'next day delivery' did not arrive. I contacted Customer Services and was told that the headboard would be in stock in January, i.e. several weeks delay and the delivery of both items would be made then. I needed the bed immediately so I arranged delivery within a few days and cancelled the headboard. The delivery finally took place as arranged and I'm very happy with the bed.
ordered one night a beautiful bedframe and it came along within 48 hours, it was exactly as the picture, easy to put together and its just jolly well perfect, delivered promptly too, what more could you ask for
Goods were as decribed and in perfect condition, well packaged. Delivered on schedule and received text and email messages to confirm delivery window. I had to correct an address error which was my fault which I noticed on the order confirmation. This was handled very efficiently and received a phone call to confirm.
Will definitely purchase from Bedworld again.
Unable to deliver the next day as advertised but they rang me early to inform me of one days delay, which was not a problem. Then on the day of delivery the driver phoned when he was 30 minutes away.
Overall very pleased with the product and this company does care about it's customers.
Although I have a problem in the beginning, it was sort very efficiently, I would recommend them without a doubt.
I booked a days Holiday to receive the Chest of Drawers assembled on Friday 29th Nov. Only to be told the night before that it will now not be delivered until the following Wednesday unless I would take it on the Saturday un - assembled. I did this and asked for the refund of £13 extra that I paid to have it assembled. I have still not received my refund so all in all - DISAPPOINTING!
I have found that customer service for this company isn't worth a penny. They want to charge you almost £80 if you ordered the wrong size by accident it or want to return an item for a full refund. They violent customer standards. All they are interested is money money and not the customer. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN. I advice everyone to do the same thing
I am very pleased and impressed by the service and the quality of the bed I have had with Bedworld and I would recommend anyone to deal with this company.
The time we agreed to receive the bed was maintained as well as the contact through text messages to follow up the delivery.

My bed and headboard were delivered this morning. I received a text last night to say it would arrive between 8 am and 12 noon. This morning I received a phone call to say they were about 10 minutes away - and they were true to their word. The delivery men also too the bed upstairs for me which was very helpful as it would have had to stay downstairs for the rest of the day otherwise!

Ordered a guest bed online. Received instant email acknowledgement. Second email confirming order and delivery date. Then received a text to confirm delivery slot 11 -3. 10 past 11 on delivery day received phone call to say they were 10 minutes away. Delivery men were cheerful and helpful.
I ordered mattresses from another company because they seemed to be cheaper, after they failed to deliver I've now ordered the mattresses from Bedworld too. Would definitely use this company again.

A disappointing start as I was informed day before delivery that my bed was out of stock, Donna got in touch and suggested another bed, £20 dearer, had no choice really, but bed arrived next day. Driver had already filled in form for me to sign, wouldn't take items upstairs, or packaging away, gave no time to check if everything was ok, so I had to change his answers. He did take up the mattress after some discussion he wasn't pleased. But it looks good and is comfy.
