I placed an order to be delivered on a Saturday. I waited in all day but nothing arrived and no contact at all from Bedworld to advise of delay / apologise.
I called Bedworld several times, trying both their delivery and customer service extensions but got voicemail every time!! Left several messages but again no reply - I was beginning to think the company did not exist!
Called again on Monday, again left several messages until I got through to the sales team who rudely advised they were the incorrect department and gave me another number. Again this went straight to voicemail, I left 2 more messages, no repsonse.
Eventually I got through and was advised that sometimes deliveries get delayed (no explanation for the lack of a call) and my king size mattress had been delivered to my neighbour.
I had specifically requested a Saturday delivery so that I could get the mattress delivered to the room upstairs. Now I was faced with the impossible task of getting the mattress into my house and up my stairs alone.
Completely unacceptable service - I will not use Bedworld again
Mattrasses arrived on time.
Delivery of bed base unreliable and poor. Not when stated and no response to e-mail via the suggested e-mail address. Was eventually delivered 4 days later than expected.
Customer services dept Sharon Higgins was excellent.
The website has something for everyone and is very easy to use. My order was processed quickly and delivered as stated on time! Check it out!
the bed I ordered was fab it looks good and to top it off it was delivered on time and well packaged so no damage occurred my daughter couldn't wait to have it assembled it was also very cheap compared to other sites selling the same bed and the added bonus was the free delivery will def recommend this online shop
Bedworld were the cheapest for what we were looking for but their service was far better than some more expensive retailers! Our bed arrived the very next day, exactly as they had said, we even had a text to confirm. Delivery guy was friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better!
I searched the website for a single metal framed bed. There was a wide selection of styles and prices and I quickly chose the model I wanted. The bed was delivered on time as detailed in the confirmation email.
It only took half an hour to assemble the bed and the quality is excellent for the price. The bed is sturdy too.
I used Bedworld because I had bought 3 beds from them previously. In the past I had had no reason to contact customer services as the beds had always been delivered on time. On this occasion having been told it would take 2 - 4 weeks I tried to contact them halfway through the 5th week as I had heard nothing from them. There was never anybody to answer the phone when I called regardless of which "department" I selected to be put through to. On each occasion I left a clear message asking them to ring me ASAP and I left both mobile and land line numbers....No reply.
I emailed them.....no reply.
I used their contact us page and again no reply.
towards the end of the fifth week I tried again at 8am and finally got through to someone who asked me what the problem was. I explained and was then put onto someone else who asked the same question. The response I got was we don't know when were going to get it from the manufacturers so we'll check and call you in a day or two" All they had to do was call the manufacturer and then call me back should take no more than 10 minutes. SO I told them that if I didn't hear back within the hour I'd cancel and get my money back via the credit card company.
My advice to all is if you can't find your product elsewhere then make sure you pay with a credit card.
As Bedworld don't have a reviews section on their website it's unlikely that this will get read by too many people until it''s too late. I don't think they're as big a company as they would like us to think they are
I waited in all day for the notified (by e- mail ) deiivery date. No one showed up and
no phone call or notification was received. The folowing morning I attempted. To speak
to someone at Bedworld - impossible " all our people are busy , leave a message
and we will call you back " nobody did and then several hours later the delivery
Finally arrived. I'm not displeased with the bed but was not aware of the number
of components that needed assembly , which took me all afternoon. Reminded
me of making Meccano as a child - loads of nuts and bolts. Next time would pay the
extra for a fully completed bed!!
Poor chap who turned up with the mattress could hardly move it he had such a struggle dragging it into the house. That should have been a two person job. I'm heavily pregnant so could only watch. Luckily the mattress was not damaged and is comfortable.
Dealt with customer services a few times and was very impressed with the service. Oredered bed and mattress which, annoyingly, came separately meaning I was waiting at home for longer than I would have been had they both arrived with the earlier delivery.
Ordered a bed and mattress from Bedworld in early February of this year. Used the next day delivery service but only half of the order showed up on the day (at 17:45, after telling us that they'd be there between 09:00 and 16:00 - so we wasted a WHOLE day waiting) the other half of the order showed up 3 days later. When we finally started assembling the bed (the instructions are really very unclear, only one small A5 sheet printed on one side for the whole bed!) it started to become obvious that it wasn't the ottoman bed that we had ordered. Nevertheless, we continued to assemble it as we were nearly halfway done and it would have taken us longer to dissemble it and move it out of our room than to continue and we needed somewhere to sleep for the night anyways. I tried to contact them the next day but only got voicemail so I left several. This carried on,, and after getting hold of them more and more drama has ensued, it is now MAY and we still do not have the issue resolved and are still sleeping on a mattress on the floor. I seriously would avoid this company at all costs, even for simple orders or things you would certainly think couldn't go wrong.
terrible , Booked delivery of a matress, Never turened up on the day delivery was booked, no phone call or email to say problem or delay. Spent past two days ringing customer services still no answer have left mesages and emails still no matress and out of pocket.
18 days later and no bed, no delivery date, no reply to any of my messages. My order was placed on a 3 day delivery as advertised. 20 days later and still waiting. Totally unacceptable.
Not great customer service, ordered a bed for Saturday delivery which I was told 3 days before the delivery that Saturday delivery is not available for that product. Think its wrong advertising saturday delivery on the website for products that do have that option. Customer service was ok, but impossible to get through via phone and slow to respond via email. My bed is meant to arrive on Monday but no one has confirmed this.
Delivered on time was a great plus as needed the sofa bed in a hurry. Easy to set up and turn into a bed.
We got a phone call from a lovely woman asking when we would like delivery,We told her on the Wednesday.
The item arrived before 9 o clock that day,So well done to you all especially to the very courtious / bubbly lady we spoke to.

You should probably check your inbox bedworld, before you send a customer satisfaction survey to a customer who is still awaiting delivery of a guest bed 48 hours after you promised to deliver it.
I took a day's paid leave on Friday in order to wait for the bed that was meant to be delivered between 7.30am and 8pm. You even phoned me last week to confirm delivery on Friday.
I was up bright and early and waited in all day. I made sure I didn't spend time in the sunny back garden just in case I missed the door bell.
As the day drew on, I became sceptical that the bed would be delivered. I emailed you at 5pm asking whether I should wait in on Friday evening for the bed.I got no response. You had obviously left the office already. Going home to enjoy your evening.
At 7.55pm I received an email from your 'premier, white glove delivery company' Panther logistics that simply said " Your delivery will arrive between 7.30am and 11.30am on Monday 20th May."
Not even a "We're sorry..." or an excuse as to why the delivery driver decided that he couldn't fulfill the delivery contract.
Of course, the Panther Logistics office shut at 7pm so I couldn't sowak to anyone to tell you that I'll be at work on monday morning so don't bother trying to deliver the bed.
What a farce!! And your website still claims 'free next day delivery'. It's just as well my guests don't arrive until Friday 24th, otherwise they would have slept on the floor all weekend!!
So Bedworld, you've now got 5 days in which to deliver the bed at a suitable time - before 8am or after 6pm at night.
I await your response with anticipation.
No delivery on the expended date. Having to phone them several times there was still no answer to why my 2 beds have not arrived. After sending them a strong letter, they had no choice but to reply. One week later one bed arrives and find that the panels are broken. I sent them pictures and a lady called asking to give her the box number so she can replace it?!! What type if service is this?...appalling service.
This is the second time we've used Bedworld. The products have been excellent in both circumstances and the next day delivery service achieved. If I had one small criticism it would be that the mattress and bed we ordered came on separate vehicles, one at lunchtime, the other at 7 o'clock. Bit of a pain having to wait all day for two vans!
Some of the wood was split but it seems to have gone together ok. have nt had time to put the slats on yet but it seems ok. a good solid fram anyway, delivery guys were excellent, really helpful, insisted on taking the bed up 2 flights of stairs. great service.
We had a lot of problems with the bed that we ordered, only 2 of 3 boxes were delivered on the first day, the remaining box on the second day but parts were missing to fix the bed slats to the frame. Kelly in customer services was on to the supplier every day for a week chasing these up and they gave her the complete runaround but she finally got them to provide tracking details for the parts being posted out and they arrived 8 days after the original delivery date. Debbie in customer service is sending a compensation payment to me as a gesture of goodwill and I would like to thank the girls for all they have done. It is just a shame that their suppliers let them down and make them look bad!
Original date given was completely out of reach, phone call to say bed would not be there that day and to choose a day the following week. Bed turned up on second date arranged but no mattress, when i called the company i was informed (very apologetically) that the mattress had not been picked up from the warehouse and there was no explanation why. On unwrapping the poorly packaged items i found an opened bag of screws and metal plates with no instructions whatsoever what the plates were for. Obviously i have been given a display item for which i have been charged the full price, hopefully i will be able to assemble the items without the need for instructions. On the whole, a poor experience which i woudn't recommend to anyone.
I ordered a new bed on saturday 4th may for delivery on 11th may, I had a phone call pm on 10th may to say no stock until the 20th, I knew the other half would not be happy and not want to wait so I have had to cancel order, would have been nice if I had been informed at time of order that the bed we wanted was not available, maybe we would have ordered another make of bed.
Website is user friendly, delivery was on time and the driver called with a delivery time at 7am on the day. Which was great i could organise my day. They were friendly and efficient.
Only use bedworld.net there is another company if you do a google search under bedworld that will come up. They are also known as worldstores. I mistook them for bedworld and had a frustrating experience and sent back their products.
Will certainly use bedworld again and again
