Never visited the online version as service from the Colchester store has for several years been excellent. Products have always been from stock with immediate delivery and (so far) no problems with any of the products.
Delivery men once damaged the door of our new fridge, but with was replaced within days, without a fuss.
Be warned. The moment you order with BennettsOnline they take your money, even if they don't have stock.
After 2 weeks of waiting and hearing nothing I had to contact them which is not easy. You call the number. Sit on hold for quite some time then the system says "sorry there is no-one to take your call" and hangs up on you.
After several attempts you may get through and get the stock "we are still waiting for stock from our suppliers"
Yes the prices may be good but the service is by far the worst I've ever come across online.
I ordered a Samsung NC10 netbook computer which was showing "instock". A day later my oder was still showing processing but the item was now out of stock. I rang and was told that they were out of stock and could not sent it. My credit card had been debited. I cancelled and received an email confirming cancellation and a refund to my credit card. 3 hours later I received a "despatched email". The item was returned to them and I was assured the refund would go through that day. The next day I rang and was told the refund would go though that day. I am still waiting. I am aware of others with similar problems.
