The camera I ordered was initially out of stock but I was not told this at the point of order which was a bit disappointing. In their defence Best Camera emailed me straight away to inform me stock was due the following week, as it's intended as a Christmas present I was in no hurry. The choice was extensive and competitively priced. True to their word the following week I received an email to confirm that the order had been dispatched. The courier service they use sent both text and email to advise me of a 1 hour delivery slot and a consignment number so that I could track the order. Having received the goods in perfect condition and within my time slot, I would definitely recommend Best Camera.
Excellent service and very competitive prices. Ordered a JVC camcorder and was advised not only of the day (next day) deliivery but also the exact time of delivery. This was a standard cost free delivery for a product that was offered at the lowest price available on the net with an extra year's guarantee and a free camcorder bag plus a free extra battery from the manufacturer i.e. a genuine UK product.
Wonderful, price was competitive, their "bundle" was the best (in fact the only one I could find), the delivery was the following day, post free!! and arrived exactly on the dot indicated by the parcel tracking system. Well, I ordered an extra zoom Panasonic 42-200mm lens by phone call on Monday the 18th of April at 9:30 am and the lens arrived next day at lunch time.Even though I ordered this zoom lens a week after my first original order of Panasonic Lumix G10 on the 9th of April, Mr Pierson still gave me a grace period so that I was still qualified for the discounted price. Bought a s/hand Samsung GX20 with lens for 300, good price, they threw in an extra battery, next day delivery was faultless - sent me an email in the morning to give an hour's window for delivery between 1 and 2, came at 1.15, well packaged. to confirm the camera (which had just been released) was in stock but it was £30 cheaper than Amazon where I normally buy my

I pre-ordered a Canon IXUS 310HS so had to wait until it arrived at Best Cameras. They kept me informed with delivery dates and rang me as soon as they received their stock. I received my camera the next morning. The courier service was excellent and I was given a one hour delivery window and the camera arrived at the beginning of the timescale. Perfect service. I will use this company agin for sure.
Service was brilliant odered Panasonic Lumix G2 blue on internet informed within minutes was out of stock but black was available. Called on telephone answered very quickly & changed order to black, dispatched same day & arrived on time next day. Condition perfect, camera arrived before money was taken from my bank account.

I purchased a Fuji HS10 complete with 4GB memory, case and 3 years warranty. The deal they offered me was very competative when you look what's available on the Net. As they are located in the North West (St Helens) I was able to research and then buy over the counter. Their service and knowlege regarding cameras was competant. Their attitude proffessional, helpful and very patient.
I would highly recommend this camera company to anybody as their staff seem very well skilled in photography at various levels and show a keen interest in you (the customer) in getting what you want photograhy wise without being pushy.

I placed a pre-order the Panasonic DMC – TZ 20 prior to its release date over the phone and was advised of my position in the queue and the anticipated delivery date for their stock. I received a phone call advising that the camera I had ordered had arrived and would be posted on the day, recorded delivery. I received a text message to state the camera had been posted, and I received a further text message to state the hour within which the camera would be delivered the following day. The camera was received as stated.
The level of communication and the professional way in which they have dealt with my order is without question the best "customer journey" experience I have had with any retailer on the Internet, and I would recommend this company to anybody.

I was looking to purchase a Panasonic Lumix G10 and came across Bestcameras whilst searching for retailers on Google. The site offered the camera for nearly the cheapest price available - but also included a deluxe camera bag, 8gb SD card and three-year guarantee in that price.
Thinking this may be too good to be true, I read a number of reviews of the site on Google before ringing up to check if the item was in stock. It was and so I placed my order at around 2pm on a Thursday.
By 1pm the next day my camera was with me - having being couriered to my work the very next day for only an additional £4 - great value!
I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking to purchase a camera. Not only are their prices competitive but they often include a whole number of add-ons, their three-year guarantee and next day courier delivery (for an additional £4). A real lesson to all internet retailers in how to operate!
I ordered the product Day 1, their standard delivery for In Stock items is 2 working days and sure enough, it arrived on Day 3. Not only that, but the web site allowed me to provide my mobile number for detailed delivery tracking updates and these were excellent. I got 2, one the evening before delivery telling me when they'd be able to send the 2nd giving me an accurate time window and the 2nd told me the 1hr. 30 mins. window when they expected to deliver. And they were well within the window.
It really doesn't get much better than this. If only all internet retailers had this level of service as standard.
Placed order, confirmation email then confirmation of despatch (by next day delivery.) Waited in all morning the following day, nowt. Phoned them, item not despatched. Hmmm. My suggestion is to phone them after placing your order, get a tracking number. Cant comment on item, wont be in a position to receive it now for a few days.
Long story short. I wanted a HD camcorder,due to bad experience with other online retailer I turned to Best cameras. I sent email before purchase to check stock and also to ensure stock would be 'pristine stock' with Factory seal intact! I was assured this would be the case.(I have email as proof).When camera arrived, there was no Factory seal, just a 'shop seal'
I rang to complain, and explaination I got was that it was a 'shelf model', but that it had never been turned on, and seal was reliable.I'm sorry, but Factory seal means, factory sealed. By their own explaination this was not Factory sealed. Considering I requested assurance regarding this particular issue BEFORE purchase, I consider this a breach of trades description and will be contacting the appropriate trading standards to investigate.Very very disappointed. Another case of new is whatever we say it is!! All I want is what I paid for, like most of us. I have no axe to grind against this company, but poor service from online retailers is becoming a major issue for us all,don't you think?
I spent a lot of time searching the web and found Bestcameras to be nearly the cheapest. There were a couple of cheaper options but feedback wasn't great on these so I opted for Bestcameras. I initially sent a note to check whether the the item was in stock and received a reply within 10min. I ordered online that day (Saturday) and received a call within an hour to inform me of a problem with the credit card statement. As a result the original order was cancelled and the order re taken over the phone. I immediately received confirmation of the cancellation and re-order by E-Mail and was informed the package would be sent Mon for delivery Tues. The courrier E-mailed and texted with a delivery time (9:34 to 10:34) on Tues morning and the parcel arrived at 9:40. The only issue was that a UV filter had been included instead of the polarizing filter ordered. A quick call to Bestcameras led to the correct filter arriving two days later with a postage paid envelope for me to return the wrong filter. Overal the service was very friendly and although there was a minor issue it was quickly sorted out. I'd certainly use them again.
The service from this company can only be described as absolutely fantastic. from the outset of checking availability to order and dispatch, everything was confirmed in a matter of minutes by Email.and from ordering to receiving the camera was a matter of two days, all with free delivery and extra items added to the camera in a bundle sale. No fault could be found in this company.
Item was not in stock when ordered, informed straightaway by email. I telephoned company and they were able to give an approx date, which turned out to be right. Received continuous email delivery updates, free delivery which seemed to have been up graded to next day! I even received email and text on day of delivery of when item was going to be delivered (1 hour slot).

I saw their ad while searching for a camera on amazon. Because of the competitive price they offered I decided to give this company a try. And it turned out that their service was amazing - very efficient and very responsible - at every stage of the dispatch/delivery I'd get an email to confirm and reassure things were going fine. I also received a text this morning stating the exactly time period my package should be arriving - and it did arrive on time! This company provide a totally outstanding service at exceptional value. I bought my camera on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday, well packaged and as described. The camera was £50:00 cheaper than on the High Street, plus I got a memory card, a high quality case and 3 years free warranty, worth at least another £60 or £70.

This was not made clear to me, I had been waiting for my item to arrive in the post but hadn't realised that they wanted a company headed fax before delivering to my work address.
Not only is this stupid as I could just knock one up in Microsoft Word if I was a fraudster.
They had actually taken payment and were sitting on my money while I figured out by looking in the small print of the order confirmation that they were waiting for a fax from me. If they want to play this game, they should not take payment until they receive the 'company letterheaded fax'. (who uses faxes anymore anyway. What a bunch of clowns).
The only redeeming feature was that when I called to cancel the order they were courteous and efficient.
They were the cheapest I could find the item I was after (Fuji HS10) and after having read several bad reviews of other online retailers, I was glad to see so many positive ones for BestCameras. The only negative ones I'd seen were related to out of stocks, so I emailed them and they emailed straight back with confirmation the camera was in stock. I placed my order and got the confirmation immediately. Less than 1 hour later I had an email stating it had been despatched (NB I was using their free delivery service, not 'next day'). Only half an hour later I had confirmation of a delivery date from the couriers DPD. At this point, I must give special mention to DPD. On the day, I received an email stating the hour slot it would be delivered in and true to their word, they were there 20 minutes into that hour. Alas, I was unavailable at the time, but I then received a second email saying they'd attempted delivery with a link to their site where I could organise the redelivery all online. This done, it was delivered the next day and I couldn't be happier with the product and service I recieved!
Having read a few negative reviews about this company on reviewcentre.com I was a little concerned about purchasing from them. The reviews tended to focus on products not being in stock. When I ordered my Sony NEX-5 I received a prompt email telling me that the colour I had ordered was out of stock and would not be in for a couple of months, but that if I went for the black instead of silver it would be in within the next couple of days. I opted for the different colour choice and the camera was sent out the very day it arrived in their depot.
First class service, very quick delivery and best of all, cheap prices
Easy ordering via the Bestcamera website, product in stock, next day delivery with a '1 hour' delivery window via text message, cheaper than anywhere else, good communication and finally an excellent product. Top high street stores should take a leaf out of bestcameras book! My faith in internet shopping is restored, thankyou.
