A company that died when O2 took them over
As we all know O2 have gone from being a very good comms company to very aggressive and rude in the last 18 months. This has filtered through to companies they take over, such as BE Broadband. BE now take longer and longer to respond, and the call centre staff babble in their native tongue over the top of you. If things are working first time you should be ok though, and they are mid-range in price but there are much better deals out there from Orange, PlusNet etc. Their prices have increased a lot recently (about 40% = £5 extra a month!) BE are borderline average, they were better. And its easy to see why they're going downhill...choked by O2. Oh, and when you cancel you get an email confirming that "work is being carried out in your area" and your broadband suddenly goes off! Coincidence? When you're on the cancellation call they offer 2 months reduced price to stay - if you decline that they get nasty, spit their dummy out and start slagging off the competitor you're going to and saying the speeds wont be the same...blah..blah. Very professional!

There is noone better than Bethere
fast, reliable excellent customer service, superb tech support. They have their own kit in BT exchanges so they are faster than BT on BT residential lines.
Their supplied router isn't too brilliant - go to bethere tech support and ask them what a popular replacement is

Best ISP
I have been with bethere since August 2006 and have never had any issues with them at all.
I have had very little down time in all those years and I think this wasnt even because of bethere but BT doing work.
Would highly recommend bethere. I wouldnt ever think about changing my isp.

great service great price
this company are simply brilliant great speeds great customer service great price. They also have a brilliant community going on. It may be owned by 02 but dont let that put you off. would recommend this all day long

Brilliant Broadband
What a great find - I bought unlimited broadband from be there for just £6.90 a month in 2009. It since rised in cost but due to loyalty, was awarded the original price for a further 6 months. Never had a service outaged, it never seems to peak to cause any trouble and the after sales and customer service team are brilliant. I deal with the online chat facility and get things sorted instantly - for instance the deal above. I'd recommend to anyone.

Best broadband in the UK
I've been through a lot of broadband providers during my time on the internet, but I can safely say that BE Broadband are the best of the lot.
I'm fortunate enough to live 300m from my exchange (which has been LLU'ed) so I enjoy a 22Mb connection, but even if this wasn't the case, I'd still be with BE as their technical support is second to none and their reliability is superb.
Look past the fact that their website looks like it was created by a monkey with Dreamweaver and have a look at the feedback they get on all the forums - they make companies like Virgin, BT and TalkTalk look like cowboys.
