ordered the chair inline with the week i had off, it didn't come. phoned them and it hadn't even arrived in the depot. said it was possible it would be delivered in 3 days time, 10 working days later. it hadn't arrived and still wasn't in the depot. was told possible delivery the following thursday, which i explained would be good as again i am not a t work. called them and they arranged it for the friday, where i was at work, so no one to pick it up. and at work the following week from 8-4 so no one going to be there. so it said would be delivered in 7 working days and as it stands. 21 working days it has taken them. i got an apology... but no sincerity behind it, no understanding. no real help and empathy behind their own failure. can't rate the product cause i haven't got it yet. but service. Very much below par!!!
On Thursday morning (17 Feb. 2011) I ordered a wheelchair for delivery on Friday. My card was accepted and I received an acknowledgement by email. I 'phoned at 4:35 pm on Friday to progress the order and was cut off at 4:55 after waiting to be connected to customer services.
I 'phoned again on Monday at 8 am explaining why this product is needed urgently and made it clear I would have to make alternative arrangements if I did not have an early response. I was informed that I would be called back. I called again at 11:20 am to be told the item is out of stock and would not be available for some weeks. I asked for an immediate refund, including the 24 hr delivery fee.
Naturally, I would not risk trying to use this source again for any future needs. An inefficient service wastes much time for those at the receiving end and incurrs costs associated with waiting for deliveries.
The order has now been placed elsewhere (at a better price) for delivery tomorrow (Tuesday).
