The map on the web was extremely low quality. Thus, it made it impossible to see, where the bus stop was. There was also no good description on the website on how to find the bus stop. We spent two hours walking around, trying to find the stop with a two year old in a stroller. The stop was at a place, which was almost unaccessable, because of road constructions. There was no clear signing whatsoever that this was the bus stop- no sign of BigBusTour, only a public bus stop. We only knew, because we just missed the bus an hour before. When trying to call the office we realized, that they only have an Emirati number. The tour itself was ok, and the bus driver and staff very helpful and friendly. That's what the one star is for. The time schedules were not very well planned either. E.g. the bus drives between 10 AM and 5 PM. But the Old souq, which is one of the main attractions, is closed between 1.30 and 4.30, and it is furthermore recommended that you visit the souq in the evening because of the heat. The rare stops of the bus - once per hour - also means that if you decide to get off at the opera, you might spend 15 minutes taking pictures, but then having to wait 45 minutes in unbearable heat to wait for the bus to come back. The idea of the BigBusTour is great in a country with only expensive taxis as option, but it is just not very well planned and carried out. I also had some technical problems, when trying to book the tickets, emailed them but never got an answer. That is rude and unprofessional behaviour.
