booking our rental car through bingo was very straight forward to do and we were very impressed with the patience of the staff at the Pick up point, considering we had just got off a long haul flight. The procedure to return the car was so simple, I would thoroughly recommend Bingo Car Rental with no reservations
Tried to book a Toyota Landcruiser via bingocarrental.com. Only AFTER entering payment details it becomes clear that they immediately take 25€ from your card and that it is actually cartrawler.com (with even worse reviews). The confirmation e-mail (came after +/- 48hr) then mentioned a lower category car (not a similar car, a lower category car) AND also mentioned that the actual car delivered could again be different (possibly even lower category, since their category standards are extremely wide to say the least. So you end up paying for a landcruiser to get some kind of toy-suv. I cancelled the booking, will probably loose the 25€. Impossible to contact someone, and by email you only get sarcatic answers. One advice: don't book via these agencies, they have no added value and will not help you when in trouble. Book directly at the rental company instead.
I booked a car to pick up at Dublin airport, the advert said All inclusive price. On the booking form it told me THRIFTY would be the car rental company. On page two of the confirmation it said a deposit of 50 EUR will be held against your credit card for the period of the booking, its not held against it, it is taken out. I took out excess insurance at the same time with Allianz, a note on the confirmation said you may be told Allianz cover is not valid. I could not get the car unless I took out excess cover with THRIFTY or let them take 1200 EUR out of my account so I had to take out extra excess. Car supplied full of fuel I returned it full but had to pay 103 EUR fuel deposit. Total £161.11 deposit instead of expected 50 EUR. BE AWARE
Confronted to a car breakdown (car locked because of battery problem), I had to call the helpdesk to get someone for repair. Strangely, I had to call and hang on with the helpdesk for nearly 2 hours in total to manage the intervention for repair. Strangely, the helpdesk was not able to call me back in order to reduce my phone bill. It cost me about 260€ !!! And strangely, while calling to the after sales service, the system is down and no reimbursement procedure is possible!
I was worried at first, as I had read negative reviews about Bingo Car Rentals.However my experience was very positive.Our car was exactly the one that was ordered,and we were not asked to pay any extras.The service was through Hertz and very professional.We had no complaints.
Voiture correspondant à notre attente, service de bonne qualité, mais... L'accès au parking pose problème à Rome. Il est loin de l'aérogare d'arrivée et pas évident à trouver. Et, pour le retour, l'entrée du parking, en voiture cette fois, est mal indiqué. Sinon, aucun problème.
Spent 3 hours waiting at the airport for a car that never arrived. This had a knock-on effect in that we were well over 3 hours late at our villa accommodation causing inconvenience to both us and the villa caretaker. It was a very stressful experience and a really poor start to our holiday. We ended up with the only car we could get at the airport, which was a compact vehicle and there wasn't enough room for all passengers and luggage so we had to hire a taxi to move our luggage and incurred both additional expense for that, and indeed for the alternative hire vehicle. Because the hire is passed through Bingo, Cartrawlers then on to, in our case, Olympic, there seemed to be very little control and little accountability. Won't be repeating the experience. Not entirely the fault of Bingo, more so Olympic, but definitely won't book like that again and nor should you if you want a stress-free and hassle-free experience.
I booked with Bingo Car Rental and specifically requested an automatic, not too much to ask these days. After a week of no confirmation email arriving, I had to try and contact Bingo Car Rental to confirm my boking. There are no contact details for Bingo so after a fashion I had to try and contact the agent that was organising the booking. They confirmed they had no automatics but would hire me a manual, a car which I could not drive. I eventually managed to locate an automatic and received my confirmation email. I also made a call to Sixt (The people renting me the car) and advised that the car must me an automatic. When arriving at L'Rochelle airport, the ony car available was a manual! I do not have a licence to drive a manual and was left at the airport with no transport. In all, a totally inefficient service that was mis-managed from the start.
RENTED A CAR THROUGH BINGO CAR WHICH ACCEPTED OUR REQUEST TO RETURN THE CAR ON SATURDAY AFTER HOURS TO THE SAME GARAGE.

SO, I ASKED, FOR THE INCONVENIENCE OF GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE, WE NEED TO PAY YOU!? SHE WAS APOLOGETIC BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY,WE COULD GET THE CAR! SHE EXPLAINED OTHERWISE,SYSTEM SHALL NOT ALLOW ME TO RELEASE THE CAR! SHE SAID, YOU CAN APPLY TO GET THE CHARGE REFUNDED AFTER,WHICH I DID.
IT TOOK ME 3 HOURS OF TRYING AND ABOUT 6 PHONE CALLS AND NUMEROUS EMAILS TO GET THE MONEY BACK! AND THAT WAS AFTER I THREATENED THEM WITH LOCALTRADING STANDARS OFFFICE. SO IT COSTED ME ABOUT £500 MORE TO RENT BY USING BINGO CAR RENTAL SITE
Bingo came up with the best price but could not be contacted by phone . Replies to emails were slow compared to others contacted at the same time . Very happy with car we got but after booking for 61 days we found insurance policy's for excess would only go to 60 days . attempts to change the booking to 60 failed even though we were not looking for any refund . This could have been the car rental company's fault .
us compelled to buy an insurance and frightened of penalties, upon anything similar wasn't! when we handed over the car, your employee was very friendly and we left to your company the car seat for the child. when we took the car, the employee awfully boorishly behaved, frightened of penalties if we don't buy an insurance (though we brought the deposit of 500 euros).
We found Bingo CarRental on the net, and it turned out the best deal on a rented car for us. When we picked up the car, everything was ready and we were given a car one or two classes above the ordered one - without extra charge. Dropping off was just as painless. In this case, Bingo worked with Avis Car Rentel in downtown London, Canada.
