I ordered a Canon Ixsus 870 on 13 November and am still waiting for delivery even though the money has been taken from my account on 16 November.
Offer a good price and look very professional but don't deliver, on any level and hold on to your money for as long as they can.
Like many others have said this is also a US company not UK as they advertise.
Wish i'd of checked the reviews first!

I have twice purchased a camera from Bitesizedeals. They both arrived within a few days of ordering, cameras were exactly as described. No extra postage to pay when delivered and no problems with payment. Cannot fault them at all. I would gladly use them again. 10/10 from me.
I ordered a camera then cancelled it the next day when i realised it was coming from America.
They refuse to return my money yet they promise on their website that goods cancelled will be refunded
My advise is keep clear of Bite Size deals
Ordered a camera on Jan 4th. Bitesize then emailed to say camera was not in stock so we cancelled order 11th Jan 2010. After emailing very often and reporting them to FTC in USA we still have not had our £217 put back onto our debit card. Do not use this company- the communication is dire and they are US based with UK email!!There is no phone for them either. All you get when you email is a generic reply basically telling you to have a niceday!!
I ordered a camera from BiteSize thinking that they were a UK based company and immediatlet cancelled the order when I realised the camera was being shipped from USA. They took £118 from my account 5 days later and it took 2 months to get a refund. They frequently ignored my emails and I had to involve the VISA FRAUD dept to get the refund.
I ordered a camera from Bitesize. The camera arrived in good time and was what I ordered. However shortly afterwards Like Luisa a fraudulent item appeared on my credit card(used in the Bitesize purchase) for services purchased in the USA in dollars. My credit card company are carrying out an investigation
I ordered 2 cameras on 16th December 2009, guaranteed Christmas delivery - after several emails and a phone call they admitted the items were out of stock and the order was cancelled on 22nd December. I finally got the refund yesterday (after several more emails)but at the same time 3 unusual purchases appeared on my credit card for >£2500. I didn't use my card since the Bitesize order so I'm very suspicious that the fraud was not just a coincidence. Fortunately my credit card company acted very quickly, the card was cancelled and the bank direct debit changed. All is well what ends well, but beware of this company. I would certainly not use it EVER again!

I ordered a camera costing £220 on 9th November, I hadn't heard or received anything by 10th December so emailed to cancel my order. They replied my email to tell me that the camera was on the way. When the camera arrived it was the wrong model - not the one I had ordered, so paid £20 to send it back to them by courier. I received a refund of £150 - I have been chasing them for the remaining £70 since December. I am not confident that I will receive it. Despite contacting them on numerous occasions I have not heard anything from them. I am looking at agencies to contact in the USA regarding claiming the remainder of my hard earned money
worst company I have ever dealt with. I cancelled my order after reading the small print on FAQ page, ordered a camera on 3 December 2009 for a xmas present. The website had said delivered in 24-48 hours, FAQ said we try and deliver in 30 days, which was no good for my xmas present. The cancellation was accepted immediately, and it said 5-7 days for re-imbursement, but when I followed this up days later was told it could take 30 days to process. Several emails and threats later on 20th January 2010 they email to say payment has been processed and allow 7-10 business days before following it up. The reviews on this site sum up this company, avoid them at all costs.
I was in the process of ordering a Panasonic TZ6 camera from Bitesize on 4th Dec 2009 when I spotted that it is an American company. I immediately cancelled the part completed order but not before they had managed to get the money from my bank account. It is now 19th Jan 2010 and, despite their 30 day refund policy and several E-mail promises of correcting the situation, I have still not received my money bank.
In my opinion they are nothing but a bunch of thieves.
Webpage distorts the truth. Company admits that their web page stock levels do not reflect real levels. Quite often there is no stock. Therefore when you order you can not expect to get it straight away. They do not know when new stock is coming in either. Would never use them again.
One to avoid!
This company is a US (not UK) company who takes your money and then _tries_ to order what you wanted on the cheap.
They do NOT have items in stock.
They will ring and ask for your credit card details, including the 3 digit security code, over the phone (though so what? - don't we give this info to our local takeaway when we order by phone?). If you are then VERY VERY LUCKY then about 30 days later you MIGHT get your goods.
I ordered a Sony PRS700 ereader on 20th November, was called at home within the week and asked to confirm credit card details and told it was in stock and on it's way (and would take ten days). Ten days later - no ebook, no customer services, no phone number, no nothing, email responses took over five days per email and were typically uninformative i.e. 'our shipping department still has your order in progress', (no really - that's what your online tracking system says!!!). Now the Sony PRS700 I ordered is a discontinued item (I knew this when I ordered it - hence I was pleased to find a website that said "in stock") - I suspect they lied, because sure enough over one month later they had to cancel my order and refund my money because they 'could not provide me with the goods - sorry for the inconvenience'. So they had my £300 for well over a month with no capacity to send me the goods they said they had in stock in the first place.
I'd avoid them like the plague. You'd be better ordering from Ebay.com
ordered sun before crimbo and got it thurs after . totally satisfied and i would use them anytime. thanks bitesize
I ordered a Panasonic TZ6 in November, and received a US model ZS1. This is incompatible with UK and EU PAL TV replay. Despite several emails to complain I have yet to receive any response. I would not trade again with this company (or any derivative - see complaints by other customers). The use of ".co.uk" to ship non-UK compatible goods is misleading.
I was very worried and panicked when I seen the review forums on Bitesizedeals, I ordered the panasonic TZ6 with in one hour it was processed and I could track my order, I ordered it on thursday 11am it was delivered on saturday 1pm, The camera came in excellent condition. The only thing I thing I would say is the panasonic TZ6 came as panasonic ZS1 which can confuse people, would it be better put as e.g. panasonic TZ6 (panasonic zs1)
I ordered a Canon Ixus 110 camera and was able to track its delivery until I received it fairly quickly. However it was a Powershot SD 960 which was sent, which is the US version of the same camera, complete with US battery charger. On hunting through the small print on Bitesizedeals website it states that they may substitute another countries version of the product you order. Canon UK customer services state that the warranty of the powershot I was sent is invalid outside the US and that leaves me relying on the warranty service offered by Bitesizedeals themselves. I also am left having to buy a UK battery charger to be able to use the camera. Bitesizedeals customer services have not yet got back to me about my complaint. If I'd seen this review website before I would have shopped elsewhere!
Hi, I ordered a camera for my girlfriend as a Christmas present on this site because it was top of the google search and it was cheaper than other sites. I decided to google the actual website for consumer reviews and couldn’t believe what I read. I’ve bought a lot of goods online before and never had any issues. I checked my order status and it still said being processed even though the item was in stock when I ordered and still is on their site. I sent the company an email two days after I ordered to query this but I got an email back saying that my order had been sent to Warehouse and the status was updated. Today I received another email saying my order was shipped and I have a DHL tracking number. I also heard that I am liable for customs/import charges so not sure how much they are going to be.
So in conclusion I ordered my camera on 01-12-09 and yesterday 07/1209 I received my DHL tracking number. Still not sure what to expect from DHL as I’ve read mixed reviews. I’ll keep you posted as to what I get….
Comany failed to supply goods ordered,no direct telephone contact, and it took nearly a month to get my money back .I suspect this was because the Federal Trade Commission in America are investigating them, and i let them know that i knew and were in contact with them. The FTC have a complaints procedure, so if you are unhappy with this company, let them know.

I, like many on this site, have had an awful experience with bitesizedeals.co.uk. I ordered a camera, it didn't turn up, I cancelled my order, never received a credit, everything went quiet, now in the hands of my credit card company. Still no money back.
Now, today I was spammed by www.crazycameras.co.uk. I took a look at their website and it looks remarkably similar to www.bitesizedeals.co.uk
Order followed by dubious phone call asking for personal details. Cancelled order with assurance that £225 will be refunded within 5-7 days. 14 days later, and still no money. Have sent 5 emails; only response has been automated reply telling me I will receive a response within 24-72 hours. I now see that I am one of many who have been ripped off by this bogus outfit. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered a Canon Ixus camera as it was the cheapest price i could find. However, when I realised the product was coming from USA I was supicious and looked up reviews of company. I panicked when I read the negative feedback but I couldn't cancel the order as it had already been shipped. While I would rather have paid extra to get a product with a European guarentee I was pleasantly suprised when the camera arrived in less than 48 hours and I was able to track its movement with DHL.
I think if this company were a bit more up front about where products are coming from, they wouldn't have such bad press. Most problems seem to be encountered when people panic and cancel their order.
I received goods after 5 week wait and after I had cancelled. Refunded after 6 weeks but only partial refund now out 70 pounds on refund from bitesize. Cannot get hold of them except by email and takes ages to get a reply other than automated reply that they have received your email. Noone ever phoned me to get things sorted. Still trying to get the rest of my money refunded disastrous terrible service never use them again and I advise others to seriously do their homework may look cheapest but may not work out that way be warned!!!!!
Wasn't expecting to get the Psp I ordered after reading loads of negative reviews on this site. I was happy I could track every step of its journey status to delivery-amazing- it arrived within 72hrs!!! Packaged well & no flaws(just charging it).
Only thing I will say is like loads of others I hadn't realised it was a USA supplier. Having said that they included a plug in adaptor so again I can't complain.GREAT SERVICE in my view-if you,ve just ordered from them- expect an EXCELLENT service -I got one, there's no reason why you shouldn't too! My experience with BiteSizeDeals is far too long to report on but to cut to the chase ... it took 5 weeks for my refund to be credited to my Credit Card Company which is far longer than necessary and totally unacceptable ... never again will I order from this company
i ordered my camera on 26/08/09 before reading bad reviews,i then panicked, and called my bank to ask them not to let the money go out of my account, they said there was nothing i could do,i then emailed bite size deals to cancel it,they replyed and said they would cancel it,but to speed things along to go online and press cancel my order and that he has already prossesed my refund, after several emails i was told to wait uptp 30 days for the refund,we are now on 31 days since i cancelled and still no refund, my bank said there is nothing they can do to help.can any tell me if i will recieve the money eventualy or have i lost it.

These crooks claim to operate from the UK but it is an AMERICAN company. The same as everyone here, I ordered a camera from their web site. The money was taken from my account immediately but 3 weeks later I have still not received the camera, no email confirmation and no response to any of my emails.
They have no contact details on their web site, no telephone number and no address. My next step is going to be to report them to every trading organisation in America and the UK. Their site should be blocked as they are a bunch of scammers.
Ordered without doing my homework - let my guard down - and now find this is not a UK company who appear to always be 'out of stock', 'dispatching order' and so on. No product received as yet and can't get a refund either. I feel so stupid (with good reason you might say!)
Checked out the website all looked good, placed my order on 26 August 09 for 2 x camera's for my work.
4 september 09 someone called the office from Bitesize, I was unavailable as I was on another call, the caller would not leave a message.
I contacted Bitesize on Monday 7 September 09 to enquire about my order, 3 x email exchanges later, they telephoned my mobile number. They told me that the order had not been processed as they could not contact me......
They needed to verify my Credit Card payment, once they had confirmed the status (10 days after the original order) they have now informed me that the order will be processed and dispatched in 48 hours.... delivery will then take 5-7 working days!!!! in my book thats is almost a month from the original order.
I ordered the same camera from Amazon it was delivered in 5 days from date of order. Bitesize were £5 per camera cheaper than Amazon - I have learnt my lesson read the feedback first.

mmmm after 4 week wait camera arrived ,, usa model not covered by uk thought was uk company camera faulty ..a worried man here, have to see!
I was a little disappointed that this company was not UK however my camera arrived in 12 days, perfectly packaged with excellent tracking of my order facility and i'm happy with it.
I ordered like most people without looking at the feedback, I have been waiting 4 days for an email back and have asked them to cancel via email as their site says no cancellations "happy holidays" I have also sent them an email with this "The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 give you protection when ‘shopping from a distance’, eg. over the phone/internet, etc. You must receive clear information about the trader, the goods, the delivery and the price, etc. You also have the right to cancel within seven days." so i reminded them that i asked to cancel within 7 days and will be reporting the company to trading standards. I will also be contacting my card company as their bogus website is enough to get a refund direct to my card.

I was also one of the many who ordered, then read the reviews and started to panic.
Pro's - Goods arrived in just over 2 weeks. Well packaged, with a converter plug. By far the cheapest price I could find it for. Great tracking / delivery service. Good e-mails from bitesize, telling me when the warehouse was dealing with the order, then an e-mail from DHL giving me a tracking number... Personally I've got no complaints about the goods or the delivery service.
Cons - It's an American company which is not made clear at all when your ordering. You may have to pay taxes and import duties. There may be an issue in Europe with an American product - (DVD players etc).
I placed an order and then googled the company and found the shocking number of bad reviews that there are.. if only I'd looked first.
The item I ordered was apparently in stock from the start according to the page, and always has been, even now. However I emailed after a few days and was told it'd take about a week to get it in.. That week went so I emailed again and again... They don't reply allt he time which is just what you want. After another week I tried to cancel my order on the website and it wouldn't let me!
Emailed a few times and eventually mentioned the name of the man who runs this, essentially fraudulent, company (name escapes me but it's easy to find) and they said I will get a refund within 30 days.
Avoid this company at ALL costs!
Orderd before reading reviews! Goods arived in 1 week with DHL and tracking number etc. However 1 week later I have an import bill for £20.00 making the purchace £15.00 more expensive than I could have bouhght on the UK high street!!
Cheapest is not alway best!
Beware!!!
On 11th May 09 I ordered a camera from this so called company, they took the money from my account immediately and then phoned me the next morning to ask for further details including my card number, when I refused to give this information the american person on the phone said ok we'll send your order. They then cancelled my order and said in an email (several emails later) that my order was cancelled because of suspicion of fraud and that I would get a refund in 30 days (which I didn't) I kept on emailling them and got about 2 replys back. I still didn't get my refund after many requests so I got in touch with my bank and explained what had happened, they took matters into their own hands and within a few days I got my money back (after 6 weeks of me trying) I would strongly advise anyone not to use this company, the cons far outway the pros, and you could end up losing a lot of money. If you haven't got your money back yet, see if your bank can help you. But please do not use this company.
