This company should not be supported in any way. Its business practices may not be illegal in all countries but they are certainly dodgy and would be condemned by any voluntary code that tried to establish good business practice on the web.
They present themselves as a UK company with a UK mailing address but they are based in Pasadena (and elsewhere in the USA).
They have received complaints (see elsewhere on the internet) for two years now and have not changed their approach. Their intention is clearly to mislead.
They take your cash immediately and delay sending goods (four weeks in my case).
It seems that they do not keep any stock, simply obtain the goods when you order them - this would explain the long delay while they bank your money.
They appear cheap because they sell things at US prices, but if you want to buy from an American supplier there are cheaper sources (amazon.com for example).
They avoid replying to emails, sending automated replies until it suits them.
As pointed out elsewhere there may be warranty complications with some American products.
They lie on the delivery notices, misdescribing the goods.
Over all, this company shows no reason why we should trust them. I would hate to be in the position of trying to return faulty goods or seek a refund.
Ok, they did not answer emails, but I rexeived my Camera ( nikon p90) within 7days, Was given a tracking number that i could follow from America to my home address. Please be patience and i'm sure you will receive your items
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ7R-F8F8os - just take a look here. just an introduction to their fraud !
I place an order on a Sony T900 digital camera last week hoping to take it with me next week on holiday thinking that it was a UK company. They debited the money on the same minute it was purchased but I have not received any confirmation email or anything regarding the product. I am very very anxious now waiting and thinking that I might have just lost 255 pounds!
After reading the reviews i thought i would wave my cash goodbye.
i eventually managed to contact them on the chat line and received my goods after a long nail biting 15 days.It pays to check places out before buying and dont forget to pay by credit card or paypal for refund reasons.
i was pleased with the price of the goods , being the cheapest on the net but communication let them down.
Do not order from this site and the worst service ever exeperienced on the web
I ordered some photographic equipment on the 12th of May, 2009. The following day I received a telephone call from them demanding further personal financial information, when I refused to disclose this information over the telephone Bitesizedeals CANCELLED my order.
I am still awaiting reimbursement on the 1st of June, 2009!
i thought i would never see my 160 pounds again after reading all the reviews, but ater a week of very nervous waiting it has arrived,am i the lucky one would i use again, dont think my heart would take it.
I placed order on the 7th May - It is now the 23rd and I have received niether the item or an email explaining the delay. I have tried to cancel the order but their website states that cancellation is not possible during the 'holiday season'. Which holiday are they referring to? The Whitsun May bank holiday? I have reported them to my banks fraud department, as they debited my money immediately.
ordered camera on the 9th of april it is now the 2nd of may no camera no refund and no response to emails
Having read some really babd reports after i had ordered my Canon SX 10 i was panicking and when I got the email saying the unit was out of stock I was prepared for the worst. I sent several emails in panic as i needed the camera for a forthcoming trip. I was contacted by Steve who offerd to expedite my order if I wished. I of course said yes and the camera was with me within 2 days. So maybe difficult to get a hold of initially but did me proud once the dialoue started
I ordered the camera for valentine day and my valentina got the same on afternoon with attractive flowers on behalf of the bitesizedeals
Like everyone else I thought this was a UK company until too late. Within hours of placing my order the funds were withdrawn from my bank account. I received an "international" call to confirm my order and was informed I would receive the product in 3 to 4 days. When it didn't arrive I emailed the company and got a reply 48 hours later stating there was a delay. The web site continued to state '10 in stock'. I became suspicious. I discovered a method to track my order on the bite size web site and became concerned that my purchase seems to be zig zagging its way across America. The lens arrived today 14 days after payment and I breathed a sigh of relief.
The old saying "you get what you pay for" is true in this case. Low prices with a nervous wait from a company that is not up front in being America based. Would I order from them again? My doctor suggests my nerves wouldn't stand the test. But I should end by saying the lens is here, works and I am delighted with the product. Shame the service is lacking.

money sent. no product. have contacted review centre. next is trading standards etc.
BSD's website gives the impression that it is based in the UK, but goods are sent from the USA. Whilst the site features UK models, e.g. Canon Ixus cameras, the site usually supplies the US or Japanese equivalent, with guarantees that are not valid in the UK. They put very low false values and descriptions on their parcels, thus evading import duty and VAT. They change their T&Cs without notice so you never know what terms and conditions applied when you placed the order. They charge your credit card within minutes of taking the order but it may be weeks before the item is in stock. They help themselves to your money by charging your credit card without your consent when you return goods, and call it a 50% restocking fee. They own quite a few other websites (BestPricedBrands.co.uk is the main one) which are just as dishonest - no wonder since they all belong to one Jaivin Karnani.
Don't just take my word for it - Google this website name, also BestPricedBrands, also Jaivin Karnani and you will come across at least 500 complaints!
