I ordered a jacket online. The item arrived with the electronic tag attached. I was told by customer service to go to my local Blacks store (8 miles away) to have it removed. On entering Eastbourne store I set the alarm off. The tag on my coat could not be removed as the machine was of a different type. So I left the store, again setting off the alarm! I then was told to return my coat to remove the tag. I then spent 26 days speaking to 10 different customer service people ( I recorded the names/dates) to see where my coat was. I was fobbed off until I was eventually told that the company had received my coat and re stocked the item and presumably sold it to someone else as they could not find it. I was offered my money back but I refused stating that they had lost my property and resold it. I eventually was sent a similar item of a different colour over a month later from when I had intially received my coat.
