My family and I, all nine of us, had a wonderful long Easter break in the Isle of Wight. We found a great local pub to eat in with an unusual but good menu, reasonably priced. We didn't think so much to the local fish and chip shop, but maybe we were just unlucky that night, as it always seemed to be busy. The house itself was amazing, I don't know if I'd have liked to let such a lovely house out, they had thought of everything, even had sky TV. White towels and white bedding a bit scary especially as we had children with us!. The only downside was that after the holiday, nearly a week later I had a phone call from Blue chip Holidays to say two of their towels were missing. If we had them would we post them back to them. I found this really upsetting as to the way it was put to me on the phone. I contacted them and said there was no way we would take their towels as they had my name and address. I have to say I may think twice about doing this type of holiday again, even though the actual place and the holiday itself was wonderful.

Dear Christine, we're sorry to hear that the phone call made you feel uncomfortable. In situations when some items cannot be located we place a courtesy call to guests to ascertain if they had been packed by accident, this call is instigated by the owner or property manager in an attempt to account for any missing items and was not intended to cause offence. We hope that you enjoyed your stay with us, Blue Chip Holidays
