We have been a Bluepark Solutions user for over 6 years. Prior to that we had tried many other e-commerce platforms and none of these come close to Bluepark in terms of features, speed, stability and support.
It was so refreshing to find an e-commerce platform that works straight out of the box so we could get on with promoting and running our business instead of firefighting bugs all the time like we were with our previous providers.

It's a big decision to make when choosing a shopping cart for your business, so I was a little nervous changing from Interspire to Bluepark as I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision.
Thankfully it was.
After the non existent customer service of Interspire it was a refreshing change to find a company that promptly answered my queries before and after taking out a shopping cart subscription.
The software itself is user friendly and allows you to customise your website almost without limit, which was a big plus for me, especially after using Interspire.
There's also an active forum where you actually get your questions answered should you have any problems - another refreshing change!

Choosing an ecommerce solution is so hard, there are so many choices and it feels like a lottery. We tried another company before Bluepark, and they didn't measure up at all, there were lots of nasty surprises and the support was poor. After putting a huge amount of time and resource into the project it was very disheartening to be starting again, but Bluepark were recommended to us so we decided to switch. We were recommended Bluepark by another business who had done a lot of research on hosting packages before they started their business, and had trialled several possibilities. Bluepark came out head and shoulders above the competition on both features and technical support.
I know from my own research on website development and hosting that to get a package with so many bells and whistles that is easy even for a novice to use would cost many thousands, yet even the most feature rich option at Bluepark costs only around £50 a month.
I have yet to telephone their UK based tech support without getting a clear and easily understood response in minutes, and even late at night I've had email questions answered within the hour.

Setting up a new site is very easy. Adding products - images and text - is intuitive and works very well. Things like SEO, social media and Google Shopping feeds have all been thought about and incorporated into the platform.
With some great design partners building a business is much easier than I thought it would be.

I set up a business recently (www.cleancutwood.com), and wanted a hosted ecommerce website that I could build/customise myself, but that could eventually offer all the features I would need. I looked at many options, but finally my choice came down to Bluepark because it was UK based, with a real person in charge, who I could see responded quickly and actively to user's requests on the forums. I also found lots of good reviews. There are cheaper options but I am very comfortable 18 months later with the choice I made, and I have no intention of leaving. Richard keeps introducing features, so I am more than happy with the future prospects of my site.
If you are looking for an ecommerce platform you won't find a better one than Bluepark. Very helpful and quick responses from support and from the very friendly and helpful forums. New features added all the time and a constant stream of newcomers from other platforms.

Having used Actinic (sellerdeck!) for several years, Bigcommerce (cough splutter) for 1 year (be warned those 'guys' at Bigcommerce/Interspire dont bug check until late on Fridays after they have finnished hyping their latest updates)
We have found bluepark to be very feature rich, stable, excellent support even out of hours. The software has many functions that other systemes have, the differnce being they actualy work in Blueparks.
The only thing I could think of improving would be an intergration with Amazon but I have yet to see one that works without fault on any other system in this price bracket.
A standalone version for self hosting woud be nice but thats more of a request that a review.

As a web developer I have experience of many hosted ecommerce packages and Bluepark is by far the easiest and most flexible software on the market. For the non computer literate website owner, this package is feature rich and very easy to set up and operate on your own. No programming skills are needed. Suppport from Bluepark is second to none and any periodic software updates are rolled out across all the sites at no extra cost. If you are serious about having an ecommerce website then making the move to Bluepark will be the best move can make. You will not regret it. The only regret you'll have is not having done it sooner. I would recommend Bluepark every time.
P.S. Lots of tips and help available from some very friendly people on the Bluepark forum who give their time and expertise for free.
If you are in the market for a full featured ecommerce platform to start up your own small online business, or looking to take your existing business online but unsure about all the hassles involved, then bluepark's very easy to use system is the perfect beginning. The software is easy to sue and customise while being powerful to cater to any type of business with features not available in other ecommerce solutions. Priced just right, with 3 different tiered options to suit your particular needs.
And of course there is the very high quality support given from the owners as well as the community on the support forums. Whatever problem you may run into, you can be assured you will receive a quick and very helpful reply.
There may be less expensive options out there, but you do get what you pay for, we made the mistake of using a cheaper ecommerce platform, however they were fraught with issues, andf their customer support was appalling.

I can't pretend to be technical, i'm just a retailer but this is the 3rd website I have had and this software is pretty amazing. The thing with Bluepark if there is something you want they will often update it so you have it. It has every function I need and my customers need, it is very SEO freindly and they are always around to help if we need it. Best of all great value compared to Magento which to me seemed the nearest in terms of what they could do.
I moved to Bluepark after starting off an online shop with another Ecommerce provider. Like any package, it requires a little time and effort learning how it works but I found the staff, the forums and the help system very helpful and very quickly I picked up how to set up my website and make it look good!
After my initial free trial, I moved over permanently and have been more than happy with the results. My visitors and sales increased quite quickly on moving over after struggling previously with the other provider. They have a variety of 'extras' that are included within the package (I'm on the middle one), and you can have bundles of items for customers to buy, vouchers, a loyalty point scheme, an inbuilt blog and much more. The one thing that makes Bluepark stand out to me is that they don't stand still - if something is going to be useful to their customers, then they implement it as quickly as they can. There are updates happening very frequently!
Overall, my experience with Bluepark over the past year has been excellent and I would recommend them to anyone either starting out with their own online shop, or even for more established shops as they are a forward thinking company with great customer service!

I had been suffering with an outdated bespoke website for the last few years, and making any changes to it was extremely expensive, if indeed the changes I wanted could be made.
I had been looking around at "off the shelf" solutions for quite some time, but no one offered the functionality I wanted/needed for my business. Lots of companies had some of the functionality I wanted, but the things that were crucially important didnt seem to exist.
I made contact with several companies, and the responses were very varied - some promised to call back, but never did, others clearly didnt understand my needs, as they offered inappropriate work arounds - it was all quite depressing really.

I asked my web support to build my website for me with BluePark, and I havent looked back since. Once you get used to the system, it is easy to use, extremely adaptive, and performs exceptionally well. The features are brilliant, and new features and enhancements are always being introduced. All requests for enhancements are considered and if it isnt possible, or desireable, then an explanation as to why not is given.

We have used several e-commerce providers since 2006, but we transferred to Bluepark in May 2012 and they are by far the best - we can't recommend them highly enough. The customer service and technical support is excellent - nothing is ever too much trouble and support requests are answered within lightening quick time. When setting up our store, we found the templates straightforward to use and modify, and they can also be fully customised. Although we have limited technical knowledge, the friendly forum is invaluable for practical support and advice, and the online help system is really comprehensive. Really solid, comprehensive back-end. However as front-end designers we are also very satisfied with the level of creative control we get with a Bluepark solution. Before we chose Bluepark we took out trial accounts with half a dozen providers and played around. The Bluepark package very quickly proved itself superior to anything else out there as it gave us the creative flexibility, back-end stability, and real-time UK support at a price that we wanted to pay. The real-time real-person support and attention to detail is excellent and does make you feel like a valued client. From the e-commerce/ SEO perspective we have been thrilled with the SEO from the Bluepark end. As long as you do your bit with fresh relevant content, google seems to like Bluepark very much.
Clubmugs is our first foray into e-commerce. We have designed and created many sites on the U.S. based Squarespace platform (no e-commerce facility however) which sets the bar very high as their interface is so slick and intuitive. The Bluepark interface by comparison is admittedly a little more gritty, old-schoool; a bit more clunky to navigate and certainly not as pretty to look at. However, Squarespace is really only about clever window dressing, Bluepark is a hard-working, robust engine for running a business on and taking people's money. And if you are tech-savvy you can get right under the hood and the only limits on creative control or content strategy is as they say, your own imagination.
As with all e-commerce hosting solutions there is no free lunch. You will have to do a fair bit of leg-work your end depending on your skill-level to learn the interface and more importantly maximise the potential from the Bluepark tool-box.
An absolutely fantastic platform to use, I have had varying levels and complexities over the years and it an be tailored to suit each situation almost flawlessly. When required I can get a quick response to any support questions and the platform is being continuously developed and improved to stay in line with the competition and to allow developers to support the expectations of the end users.
