I've been buying Boden clothes since their very first catalogue, My sons wore Boden as does my partner. The quality is usually very good,but has declined slightly since the early days, tee shirts are especially good.
Sometimes the sizing is a bit random and the cut of jackets tends to be too snug across the shoulders for me,but I'm tall so probably broader shouldered than the average .
If you want something order it as things do go out of stock, but that means you won't see everyone wearing what you are.
Customer service is great, returns easy and refunds quick.
I've been a Boden customer for 5 years and keep going back - their goods are normally great quality and just a bit different from high street fayre. I am also increibly lazy so their quick delivery and easy returns make shopping from home ideal for me. Yesterday I placed my first order on my mobile which was really easy BUT only because I knew what i wanted - it was not easy to get product details on my phone. Website is easy to use, styles are varied enough for there to be something for everyone. Just 2 points let them down - a lot of the tops are designed for flat chests, e.g. peter pan collars. high necks, square cut, fussy detailing at neckline. Second, there can be very long waiting times for the most popular styles and sizes. But generally I love dealing with Boden and have not hesitation recommending them!
I was passed the link by my daughter and when I opened the page for the item she required I found it very difficult to place the item in the shopping bag. I kept pressing the symbol but eventually found that I had to specify the individual tiny icon - difficult if not nearly impossible for dyslexic folk. Please make the choice box more prominent and easier to locate.
Printing of page - I also tried to print the page to ensure I knew what I had ordered but the printed area wasn't centrally placed on the page so my details were missing and part of the price I had paid was also obliterated. Also couldn't copy it to a word document.
The email, however, arrived in my inbox instantly so that was a perfect scenario. Well done for the email.
i cant always afford the boden when in full price but i love most of the cuts and designs. they are so child friendly,one that makes my little girls look like proper little girls and not the high street awful "adult clothes squeezed into child size" designs. so despite it being at the pricey side (even at discounts), i think its worth investing on (i have 3 girls) as the quality and design i can count on. and cn last with 3 girls taking turns to wear them. overall i would recommend boden as i already am doing to allmy friends and to any mums.
I am lazy when it comes to driving all the way to high street and shopping for clothes. Boden has solved that problem for me. If I remember correctly, I was introduced to Boden around 5 years back. Must say, I have never looked back. The best thing about Boden for me is that I have never had to return any thing for an exchange/ refund. All clothes have been true to size. People usually come up to me to compliment me whenever I am dressed up in a Boden outfit. My 20 month old son was introduced to Boden as a newborn and I continue to order most of his clothes from them. I was worried when we moved continents( Uk to Australia) but here we go again, Boden has lived up to its reputation for being one of the most reliable retailers online be it excellent packaging or quick delivery :) my husband too is highly impressed with the range for men . To sum it all up, retail therapy never felt so good, thanks to Boden!!!!
I fell in love with Boden back when my daughter was born 18 months ago, and since then i've become more and more addicted to their clothing. I now buy the majority of my little girls beautiful clothes from them, as well as clothes for myself and my husband, even nanna has a top or two! The clothes are just great quality, they wash well and last longer, no stretching or losing shape, which makes them better value in my eyes. The colours are always beautifully striking and the styles are a little different to the high street. I love my little girl to stand out from the crowd! I find them so easy to deal with, they're a family friendly company and little touches like free gift vouchers to say thanks for my custom (which also encourage me to buy more ;)) make many happy customers i'm sure! I cannot recommend enough (ask my friends!)
I find Boden a very reliable company to shop with.
I find that their sizing guides pretty accurate, the material description accurate also.
If there is any problem with the clothing regarding fit etc where the garment needs to be returned...you will receive an email telling you that they received it back (which i find excellent) their customer communication is fantastic also.
I love shopping with them for a treat for myself.

I love the unique designs and the quality of the clothes at Boden. You can't get anything similar elsewhere. I particularly love their baby clothes and have taken full advantage of their generous voucher offers to kit out my son in some gorgeous outfits! They have regular sales where you can get some genuine bargains that are current styles- not something wheeled out from two years ago! Better still it's free delivery and even better everything is British made! When I win the lottery I will do all my clothes shopping here.
I've been wearing Boden clothes for years and always wear my favourites to their well-earned retirement. I adore their baby and toddler appliqué t-shirts and dresses for my little ones, and tend to go for interesting patterned tops and jumpers for myself. The clothes wear well and tend to be quite generously sized, which is great when your washing load has family-sized proportions and therefore gets bundled into the drier too! My main regret is that I often see an item in the catalogue that I intend to buy, then time and time again get frustrated that it's not available or has a lengthy waiting time - often taking it past the relevant season for wearing it! I also disapprove of their shameless disregard for the environment with an obscene number of catalogues through the post once you're on the mailing list.
I've been wearing Boden for years. I love their quirky but practical styles. I don't love everything I order, but returns are simple and quibble-free. Their helpline is staffed by polite, clearly-spoken people who know the products and understand the customer's needs.
Ordering from the website is easy.....a little too easy.... Delivery is always quick and reliable. The clothes are clearly packed with care, and arrive in a fit state to put on and wear straight away. You often get a little gift in the parcel, which is nice!
The clothes can be a little on the pricey side, but they are comparable with the other brands I like - Laura Ashley and Monsoon, for example. If I see something I like and can't afford, I wait until I get a promotional offer or can buy it in the sale. I love a bargain!
I've been a Boden customer for many years and I love the brand. The staff when contacted are always polite and hehelpful, the service is speedy and returns are simple. I love the styles, they suit my shape, particularly the trousers and jeans. I always feel stylish and a little exclusive when wearing my Boden clothes, shoes and bags. Keep up the good work.
I bought a beautiful blue summer maxi dress a couple of years ago, but have only worn it a handful of times on holiday. It's only been washed twice but has bobbled really badly and it now looks too scruffy to wear as a summer evening dress. Come on Boden, sort out the fabrics you use. At these prices they need to last more than a couple of washes. All other items I've bought have been fabulous though....

Boden offers clothing of very good quality that lasts for years and is delivered quickly with the possibility for returns/exchanges and refunds.
I ordered a cord dress for my 2 year old ( as have had them for the past two years) but when I washed it the colour in the lining had run all over the dress and over the other clothes in the wash, I rang Boden and they said there had been a problem with this item it had been withdrawn from sale, they replaced the dress with no problem at all (my new dress arrived the next morning) and also replaced the items that had been damaged in the wash too. I have to say I have never had a problem with anything I have ever bought from Boden and the way they handled the situation was brilliant I can't speak highly enough of the Boden team, thank you,
This is my very first order with Boden and I was so pleased with the speed in which my parcel arrived. The packaging is sturdy, boxed and on hanger and a thank you gift enclosed. I ordered the British Tweed Mini skirt and it looks and fits great. I will be shopping with Boden many more times in the future and thoroughly recommend you shop with them too.

I've never had any problems with Boden. If something worries me about my order I call them up and they are friendly, helpful and always fix the problem - even if it's just me being paranoid! Yes, you pay a top price for the children's clothes but I have found that jackets and coats last two years and withstand heavy use from my grandsons - so the price you pay is worth it. If you haven't used Boden for children's clothes I would highly recommend a visit to their site.
excellent customer service, no quibble returns , feels like a family affair ,,which i am sure it isn't, but it has a friendly approach.everything has been beautifully packaged. just wish the stock didn't run out so quickly.. but i can see why it does.
Boden is perfect in most every way, excellent service, good quality, no hassle refunds,, quick delivery, BUT they have one massive fault that needs rectifying and that is stock shortage, if ever I find an item that I really like and try to reorder , no chance, it's either out of stock and cannot be reordered or there is a very long delay [ months ] and this is out of new catalogues. Come on Boden get your act together or you will lose customers.
Order more stock on items that sell quickly before you sell out.
I recently shopped at Boden for the first time and was very impressed with both the service (including fast delivery) and the range and quality of items. Unfortunately, one dress I bought bobbled immediately after the first wash. I was loathed to return it as I liked the style and shape so much. However, a few washes in I had to admit it was getting worse. I called Boden today and they have offered a full refund but they have nothing similar in stock. I said I would prefer to keep the dress and get as much wear as I can out of (since only the bottom half has bobbled) it but, even reduced, it cost nearly £50 which I think is a lot to pay for something that is damaged. I asked if I could post it back to verify the damage and then have it back or perhaps have a partial refund. They cannot do this and have said my only option is to return for a full refund. They have given me a small amount of credit (£10) as a good will gesture. I can see that they are hampered by existing systems but I was told that they have had other customers return this dress reporting the same fault. If so, why was it sold to me in the first place? I bought it as a sale item when there were few left in stock, so they obviously already knew that this was a fault. I assume this is why it was reduced, since the lady on the phone said I had got it "heavily discounted". I don't think they should have been selling it for that price if they had existing reports of a fault. I'm not sure I would shop with them again, even though they are happy to refund.
I went to my first local Boden party tonight. Concept is great as you get to see lots of things and feel the fabrics. Unfortunately for me there was nothing to try on as everything was up to a size 14! I am an 18/20 in the bust . This was the main reason I went to allow me to check sizing before ordering.so tip to Boden is ..... Recognise your larger ladies and give us something to try on, we might end up buying even more then!!
Not ordered from Boden before but had been receiving their catalogue for a while. They recently sent a letter out to me, with a £10 voucher included, which was compatible with other offers at the time (15% discount plus free delivery and free returns), so I have treated my little boy (nearly 6) to a big, fat fluffy dressing gown for Christmas.
It arrived today, I can't wait to give it to him! It will be like cuddling a giant flumpy marshmallow, it's so cuddly and cosy! I want one myself :-)

Arrived very quickly, website easy to use, great offer (dressing gown worth £28, paid £13 after the discounts and voucher) and was sent in the package, a beautiful little book to use too, a really lovely touch! Not had a great day so was nice to have something so lovely arrive and cheer me up a bit! Thanks Boden :-)
In the past I have ordered items from Boden and always been satisfied with their service. However, my opinion has now changed. I ordered a coat for my wife with a one week waiting time. The coat did not arrive. I 'phoned and was told that the item would be in stock within three days and would then be sent out to me. It did not arrive. I 'phoned again and was told by a different operator that she did not know where the coat was but suspected it was in final inspection. I then emailed James Malyon of Boden Customer Services who replied saying they would contact their Merchandising Dept and let me know when I could expect the coat. Surprise, surprise, 7 days later not another word from them. Incidentally, I live in England; this delay is not due to international shipping.
This coat was meant to be a birthday present, but that birthday has now passed by.
What a way to treat a customer - appalling.
I have been buying clothing from Boden for several years now and am almost always happy with their clothing. I live in Italy the capital of fashion but often at a heavy price. The Boden clothing I wear always recieve a comment (infact I have introduced other expats to Boden....but not the Italians!!). Unfortunately my last few orders have been going missing so this last order Ive had sent to my mums address in Uk, not sure if its Bodens fault or the italian postal service!!! But they did issue a voucher for the inconvenience caused.........so thank you very much!
I'm quite new to Boden but so far so good! I have only bought children's clothes from them but the quality seems good and they are washing really well, which is really important to me as the kids get messy!

We have ordered quite a bit over the years for our 2 children and recommended to several family members who do the same. Excellent communication throughout any order or return. Never any issues. Service is prevalent to this company and too many retailers forget this basic rule....so thank you!
I was really excited to be ordering from Boden for the first time and wasn't disappointed! When my internet browser didn't play ball, I picked up the phone and found them very helpful. The package arrived really quickly and looking beautiful , and the follow up call telling me I could use the returns forms at any time was great too. Needless the say the £10 voucher I got sent soon afterwards was a real incentive!
I had a little trouble ordering online, more than likely my fault, rang Boden as soon as I realised the the mistake and received immediate help. Also I had great help with delivery to New Zealand.
I will certainly order again and be a little more careful when I order online!!
I buy most of my kids' clothes here at Boden. Not only is the quality very good, the customer service is exceptional!
As with any type of internet shopping, you can't completely be sure of sizing or whether the item is in stock at the time your order goes through.
I ordered a whole lot of clothes a couple of weeks back at 20% discount. After I placed my order, I received a confirmation by email where it showed that two items which were "low stock" were now out of stock and would only be delivered in December.
I was disappointed and a couple of days later decided to write and ask them to cancel the two missing items.
The reply exceeded my expectations - not only could I cancel the two items, I could put in a new order and still receive the 20% discount (which by now had run out) on my order. And on top of that - Boden APOLOGISED profusely.
Excellent, excellent service Boden. Thank you for making me feel like a valued customer!
Some reviewers complain about the long international delivery time - that can't really be blamed on Boden. I live in Denmark, and over the summer I placed two orders about 2 weeks apart and the items arrived within a day of each other. (The first package in the tracking seemed to be stuck at the postal service here.)
I have never experienced the delivery time taking longer than stipulated in the confirmation email.
Really amazing kidswear - their cotten tee's are thick and soft (and stay that way after washing).
I simply love their kidswear - the design stands out (positively) compared to the brands we see in Scandinavia.
I have two girls, and I love that non-pink clothing are avaliabe on boden.co.uk (Yay for yellow and other colors)
