I've only recently started ordering from Boden and so am still at the experimental stage where you order lots of different things to see how the sizes and shapes work out. Am therefore loving the free delivery & free returns and money off first and second orders which makes some of the pricier items worth considering. In terms of delivery and returns everything has worked very well.
There are two things I find puzzling: stock levels and larger styles. Stock levels first. I was forewarned that this can be an issue and right enough, on one of the pretty blouses the colour that is the nicest looking by a country mile (Ravello in pea green, if you're interested) is completely out of stock. And I had only just got the brand new catalogue! So I'm not sure how this can be the case, and I can't be bothered going on some kind of waiting list which may mean I get the item in 12 weeks or never. The more tedious patterns are of course available.
I'm a 16 up top and am amazed that the same company is able to sell styles that look great (the wrap jersey top springs to mind, as does the casual shirt) and at the same time styles that are extremely unflattering (the Polperro jumper, the twist front top). And it is true what some reviewers are saying, the models in the catalogue have no chests to to speak of. So here I would like you try a bit harder.
Sorry, one more niggle: sleeve lengths. Far too much 7/8ths etc. please give us full length sleeves, or at least the option of full length sleeves. We're shivering up north : )
Just want to say that using Boden's website is really easy. Delivery is superb and even if I've been told an item is out of stock and given an expected date, all my items have arrived before anticipated. Any returns have been dealt with promptly and refunds or exchanges processed very quickly. I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending Boden to anyone. Happy shopping!!
Good quality clothes but a little expensive for me, so great that you have frequent discounts that bring items back into my budget. I have been trying to source a cropped red cardigan for a little while to go with a couple of existing tops. You have my size stored so after picking the necessary filters on-line I was thrilled to find one that was exactly what I was looking for. However that soon turned to disappointment when I noticed the 13 weeks delivery time. 13 weeks is a WHOLE season, why show me something in my size, preferred colour and then tell me I have to wait 3 months? Surely it would have been better that it wasn't shown at all!! A cardigan ideally bought to see me through the Spring months may, (here's hoping for a repeat of last year's glorious summer) be of little use 3 month's down the line. Perhaps Boden you need to look a little more closely at your stock control and future delivery times.
Real shame there is no way to add a gift message when order vouchers. I rang customer services & they said the only way to do it was via Delivery Instructions - "Other" then you have about 19 characters to put something. It's not even clear where this will appear? Or if they get to see who the vouchers are actually sent from. They are a gift for a new born & Mum loves Boden - so a pity it can't be done properly.
Placed my first order on tuesday for chinos & t shirt. Tracking showed should arrive thursday but then showed a failure to deliver as damaged parcel. So I contacted Boden who issued replacements for next day delivery, plus gave me a credit on next order for inconvenience. However, the first order did turn up on time & no damage, random!! So I just need to refus the 2nd replacement delivery when it comes as instructed by Boden. Clothes were great but delivery & tracking were a little random. Customer service resolution was prompt & friendly however, so I have reordered using my credit!
I LOVE Boden clothes & have bought on & off for at least 8 years now. I usually buy shirts/blouses and although I try and choose from the petite range, a garment may not be in that range & I end up with a shirt which has a long body & long sleeves. Also, please bring back larger buttons on some shirts, blouses & cardi's. I'm not very dexterous and bigger buttons would be so helpful. You might say get a garment without buttons but putting it over my head isn't that easy and the styles are not always what I like. I know you have to keep with fashion trends so it isn't easy but just a small observation. I'm not giving up buying from you though as the colours you have are gorgeous & recognisable as Boden!
Having placed my first order with Boden I was chuffed to receive my item on the Monday, I had only placed an order online on the Friday. Brought some jeans for my teenage son. Perfect fit- skinny waist but ideal length for his height. A good choice of colours too. I didn't have to worry if I needed to return this item as Boden had offered me free returns as well as delivery. I will definitely order again with special offers that entice you. Highly recommended. Lovely clothes and generally well made and cut - but why oh why do you insist that men don't look at catalogues, and therefore only make men's stuff available on line? Gender stereotyping or what? And also, please make men's shoes in larger sizes - UK 12/EU 46+.
Love Boden, boys clothes are fantastic and they do great women's basics. I still buy stuff from other sites because you can't always get really fashionable stuff, it's more for everyday basics and work wear staples. Quick to process returns and the online experience is better than any other site I've used. Clothes quality is excellent with timeless classics - for a busy mum with two boys this is my go-to clothes shop - always.
An item I have ordered has now been pushed back another 2 weeks making that a total of 6 weeks that the items has been backordered from the ORIGINAL ship date. Boden company get your SH*T together!!! Spoke with a customer rep and she said it would be shipped out friday's ago and when calling again all the customer service rep could do is say "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry!"! Again..the .worst!
Basically love the brand and the style. Having said that there are some items I never like and always avoid either because they don't suit me (v-necks) or because I'm wary of the quality (printed knitwear). However the things I do like I really love and think the quality is excellent. Love the quirky details like cuff linings in different fabrics. By the way the Spring 2014 collection is in my view the best collection for a few years - if money was no object I'd go mad!
I've shopped with Boden for about a year now and although I find their clothes pricey I couldn't be happier with the quality. As a little person (size 8, 5 feet tall) the petite range is the best I have found anywhere and my only complaint would be that not all the dresses are available in petite sizes. The design, colour and style of all the clothes is exceptional and my grandchildren are often asked where they got things from. It's very pleasing to hear them say "Nana got it for me". I
I have shopped with Boden for years with good service and love their clothes but do find them a bit pricy so tend to wait for 20% off offers or sales. On Friday I was excited to received a very nice email telling me about the 80% off sale and spent a very happy hour on line putting 11 items in my basket. Went to check out and 2 items were missing! I rang customer services and was told that someone else nipped in and bought the items even though they were in my basket! How can that happen when I was still actively shopping? With other websites items are reserved until checkout unless you are not active. Then the next day I got an email saying due to a stock discrepancy they could not send me the jeans; today I received another email saying I wasn't getting the gorgeous boots either. So I am now down to 7 out of 11 items - but I probably won't want the jumper I ordered to go with the jeans, or the bag to go with the boots. Come on Boden, really not good enough, a very disappointed customer here.
I bought a beautiful cherry red coat for £25, a new coat is a very rare treat for me. I bought and paid it, the sale was excepted and the item was in stock I was so excited I took my old 2 coats to the charity shop. the next day. Then this afternoon, An Email to say they wont be sending my coat as they no-longer have my size.....BUT they had my size when they sold it me....SO that means they sold MY coat to someone else. Really pee'd off as now I have only a very thin rain coat...So now I'm going to be freezing my tits off.
Would NEVER use them again, now have to look on Ebay for a secondhand coat.

Has anyone else bought something in the sale only to find out that it wasn't actually in stock? This has happened to me twice now. I find Boden stuff good quality but a little pricey, so when a sale comes along I tend to buy a few bits, and it is a great feeling to look forward to something arriving, which you have managed to get for a great price. Then you get an email saying there was a stock discrepancy and the item you wanted wasn't actually in stock, although the website let you go through the process of buying it as if it was available. It is so disappointing. It is also frustrating when you have put items in your bag, then go to pay for them only to find out that they have been taken out of your bag! This wouldn't happen in an actual shop, or on the John Lewis website, (which is the standard you should be aiming for), so why is it allowed to happen here? When you can't deliver the items we think we have bought, it is extremely disappointing and frustrating. Please sort it out!
I started shopping at Boden about 3 years ago after seeing a friend's catalogue. The colours instantly caught my eye and my friend said that the quality is excellent. I regularly order from Boden as I know that the items I order won't wear out after just one season. The catalogues are so eye catching and I like the fact that their models don't look like size zeros. The website is easy to navigate and there are a good range of images to view the products. The customer feedback is really helpful too and that often sways my decision on certain products. If on the rare occasion I have to return my item the customer service is excellent. There are no quibbles, free returns and queries are always answered politely and promptly. My entire work wardrobe is always bought through Boden and I always receive lots of compliments whenever I wear their clothes. Another great thing is their are regular discounts available which makes shopping with them even more irrestible. Pay the website a visit and you won't be sorry!
I love Boden, for both myself and my two children. The whole process is seamless from clicking on checkout to fast arrival you won't find better customer service. As for their clothing it washes well and always stylish and a little bit different. They have great sales and their catalogues always make me smile, a big event in our household when the mini boden catalogue arrives and myself and my three year old chat over what she likes. Just one little niggle, some of the items sell out so quickly! Mind you I think I should learn my lesson and stop dallying around and just order when I first see it. Anyway thanks Boden.

Trousers are beautifully cut, slimming, leg lengthening and flattering with a massive selection of styles and colours, you cant fail to be pleased.
I am a Boden addict. I love the extra detailing and lovely fabrics on everything from silky tops in a wide choice of patterns and plains to lovely knitwear and extra special occasion wear. The trenchcoat is better than I have seen anywhere else.
Watch out for sales and frequent special promotions which are irresistable.
My boys, in their early 20's look so cool and great in their Boden vintage chinos and architect shirts. I bless the day that found Boden. It is my 'go to site' for clothing gifts for my 5 year old niece and all family members.
