I have ordered many things from Bodyjewelleryshop and have never had any issues.
Their prices are cheaper than anywhere else I have seen on the web and the customer service is excellent.
I recently had an item that was lost in transit, and I was offered a replacement or refund with out any hassle.
Delivery of items is quick and I always reccommend this company to my friends.
I had ordered loads of stuff from these people before and I had no complaints at all with them. I ordered a few items back in April, they took payment for all the items, but only 4 out of the 5 arrived. The missing item claimed to be out of stock. I had no reason to expect anything to be out of stock, so I figured I'd just wait and see if I either got an email, a replacement when it was back in stock or a refund. Admittedly, I forgot all about it and it only occurred to me earlier this month. I knew it was a long time since the order was placed so I wasn't really expecting anything to come of it. I emailed them rearding this, I explained that I knew it had been a while but I just wanted to make them aware of it. Customer service was not ideal at all, the email I recieved back could easily be percieved as rude and kind of "well what do you want us to do about it?". They did offer a replacement but also along with the comment of basically if this happens again then we won't do anything about it. I don't like complaining about things, and I knew that I was in the wrong for taking so long to realise. Basically, just be aware that if an item is out of stock, there is a very high chance that you won't know about it until your order arrives, even then they don't automatically send out a replacement, refund or even an apology.
Before this, like I said, I'd had no problems at all, but it really is the customer services that lets down the whole experience for me.
I ordered several items from Body Jewellery shop a month ago. All the items turned up at different times and I one item was missing. (The one that I really wanted.... Typical).
I phoned and emailed several times, finally getting through to someone today, who was the rudest person on the entire planet. Munching her lunch, offering no apologies and when I asked if I would be getting my missing item, she said NO. So that's nice. I don't often feel this annoyed but it is the most unprofessional company I have ever come across.
She didn't even seem phased by the fact that Id been waiting over a month for a lip ring. 1 MONTH! So I gathered that this happens a lot. I wish I had never used this company.
Every email was ignored and I originally ordered the jewellery as a present. So after wasting my time and effort with chasing these total liars, I didn't even get my jewellery after all. Nor was I offered any time limit as to when it will be in stock. I didn't ask for a refund but found myself getting one anyway (she basically wanted me off the phone so she could get back to her chomping), and offered no apologies for the poor service.
I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Rude, unprofessional and totally untrustworthy.
I have placed several orders with this company over the past 5 years and never had any problems. Even when I lived in China delivery was swift.
I had one order that somehow disappeared in the mail and they were very fast in sending me a replacement order by express mail.
Where to begin... I am a (stupidly) repeat customer with bodyjewelleryshop.com all the way back to when they used to be bodyjewelleryshop.co.uk and I have never placed an order with them that didn't turn into a problem. Their stock system is completely unreliable and they consistently sell out of stock items and then inform you, after you've paid, that the item you bought isn't available and doesn't that just suck for you.
My last order, which I placed in mid July, still hadn't arrived in full more than two months later and they stopped responding to my inquiries, but they still happily took all of my money. Here's the long, dirty version: I placed an 8 item order with them and initially contacted over invoice concerns. The manifest I was sent did not include all my items and when my items got shipped it appeared that my order had been broken up in to multiple packages, pairs of identical items being sent separately (rendering them useless if one package failed to arrive). To top it off not all the packages had been sent and there was no mention of why.
When I did hear back from them the respondent assured me that everything was sent out. The statement turned out to be false because when part of my order did come in the manifest noted, in a workers handwriting, that two of the items were out of stock and not shipped out. To make matters even more confusing only one of the email manifests actually matched up with its corresponding order manifest- it seems people just dumped a bunch of stuff in packages willy-nilly, ignoring their own order invoices and never informing me of the missing stock even though they noticed it.
When I questioned this the respondent again said my order was shipped, and asked for a photo of the manifest with the out of stock items so they could pull their stock from Gibraltar (so much for the stock warehouse that they have in Watford) and I complied. I was then informed that (surprise) my missing pair of tunnels were out of stock in the colour I requested, despite being listed as in-stock on their site. I was told I could either replace them with another colour or get a refund and I chose to replace them with another colour, this was on August 6th. No response or confirmation to that, no product sent, nothing updated on my account on the site.
Shipping from the UK to Canada usually takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks so fast forward a month to last week- no parcels had arrived so I figured it was safe to assume nothing had been sent and contacted them again inquiring about my order. After getting no response for a week I contacted them again to tell them that my order still hasn't arrived and at this point all I can do is warn other people not to deal with them.
UPDATE: The mention of telling other customers finally got a response from them when nothing else did and they've decided to actually ship out the items that I paid for. The respondent blamed a system error that happened "a few weeks ago" for not getting back to me, which doesn't explain why they ignored an email that occurred six days ago (at that time) as well or why they didn't check back with me to complete my order. This experience, while escalated, is generally typical of the service I have received on each occasion I've dealt with them.

I ordered some eyebrow bars for my son ,I was suprised how quick the order was delivered to Ireland , wish I could say the same about the quality of the merchandise it was pure junk !!! , I parcelled it up and returned it immediately that was 3weeks ago. I have contacted this company numerous times to try get my refund and i'm just getting messed around , emails back and forth , and they are saying they never received it .I think its a scam to not refund money to customers . I will never buy anything from this site again .If your looking for body jewellery crazy factory is excellent , I have just bought brow bars from them and the price and quality are excellent .

Jeg har benyttet siden flere gange. Og i starten var der ingen problemer. Mine ordrer blev leveret hurtigt, og det var gode første oplevelser. Efterfølgende er standarden mht. ALT faldet drastisk. Jeg ved ikke om sitet har fået ny ledelse, eller er blevet for uoverskueligt, at drive. Men mine sidste ordrer var MEGET lang tid undervejs. I stedet for, at samle mine ordrer i én pakke, var det fordelt på 3 pakker. De to ankom over 1 måned efter, at jeg havde betalt for dem. Og den sidste pakke ankom endnu senere. Sitet kører desuden med et regelsæt, der siger at de intet kan gøre for, at hjælpe før end der er gået 21 arbejdsdage. Har man ikke modtaget sine ordrer efter dét. Ja, så kan de begynde, at kigge ind på ens sag. Jeg har dog haft en nogenlunde email korrespondance med en servicemedarbejder. Og nu er alle mine 3 pakker ankommet. Desværre var ét af smykkerne beskadiget, hvilket også er noget sjusk, men jeg har valgt selv at lime det sammen. Selvom jeg fik muligheden for, at sende et billede af det ødelagte smykke.
Jeg vil ikke handle via. sitet mere. Synes simpelthen, at det er for dårlig service. Ærgerligt, da deres udvalg af smykker er ganske glimrende.
Ordered some flesh tunnels. Never received, they claim I did not give my complete address & postcode.
Emailed and they kept using the excuse of when the incorrectly address envelope returned to them they would refund me. I ordered in October and have not had a refund yet.
Well, i paid my money. waited until the end of the stated 2-5 workng ay delivery time and received nothing. I contacted them to question where my order was. The tracking system on the website was telling me it was being packaged but the customer service adviser told me 'it was in the post' and I must wait 15 working days until I can have my money back.
The money, for me, isn't the issue. firstly, the order was for a birthday present which is long gone, secondly it's the principle of being so blunt and unhelpful but yet so willing to take peoples money. In most cases I would give companies the benefit of the doubt but having read all th other reviews on here it seems this company is very much in the habit of treating their customers like sh*t and for that I hope they go bust very soon.

I have bought stuff from these guys before and had no reason to write to them about any issues.
This time however my order didn't arrive after 5 weeks, I have sent numerous emails but they just ignore them.
They are fine to use until you have a problem!
Read other review sites and you'll soon get the picture.
Their returns policy is against your consumer rights. Your rights override anything they puts in their own terms and conditions.
The item they sent me was faulty and yet they wanted me to pay for my delivery back to them and were refusing to refund the original postage. After many emails back and forth (very slow in reply) and after quoting them my rights, they finally agreed to a full refund.
In the end after another month they deined ever receiving my returned item and so I got nothing. Not a replacement item, no refund and had paid for the return postage.
Absolute joke - will never use again.
Please note - when I had bought previous items from them everything had been fine - but ask yourself if it is worth the risk? Believe me, it became more about the principle rather than the money in the end. Frustrating doesn't even begin to cover it!
Like I said....search on other review sites and you'll see the same comments. Wish I had read them first!

i was made when i found this site due to needing body jewelery and i could not find the rite size piece of jewelery anywhere and then i found this site and i got my pieces no problem and now this is where i get them from all the time.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not order from this website unless you are absolutely sure you will not want to return the item. They sent me a broken item and replied to ONLY my first email - they asked for a picture of the item. After I sent them a picture, they never replied even after I sent numerous emails asking for a solution to my damaged item. Completely unprofessional.

I found the info about Consumer Rights/Distance Selling Regulations on Money Saving Expert very useful in a recent transaction with bodyjewelleryshop.com and thought I would share my experience in order to ensure that they don't con others out of full refunds they are entitled to.
Body Jewellery Shop.com offer free shipping on orders over £10. I received my order and found one of the items not to be suitable as it hadn't been fully pictured from all angles on the site and was therefore too big.
I returned the item via 1st class recorded post (at a cost of £1.50). The next day I received an email with a refund for the item - less £1. I realise this is a small deduction, but not so small in relation to the item price (£5.95).
When I queried this deduction, they stated it was to 'cover the charge issued to us in issuing refunds'. As soon as I quoted my rights to a full refund, including postage, under the Distance Selling Regulations they sent me the additional refund.
I believe the variety of stock this shop carries gives them a monopoly of sorts in terms of attracting customers looking for body piercing jewellery. However, this is not the 1st time I have encountered their dodgy trading practices and will personally be looking elsewhere for the likes of Bioplast and PTFE jewellery.

I've bought piercing jewelry from BJS twice now and each time the shipping was fairly quick (for international delivery) and their selection of strethers and plugs (for the ears) is huuge!! By far the biggest AND cheapest I've found anywhere!
Another great plus is their FREE international delivery on orders over a certain small amount of cash, soo small it's insignificant. The products were great, excactly what I wanted and for a small fragment of the price I would pay in any store here.
The site is easy to navigate (although you have soo many choices it can be overwhelming) and they always have a nice selection of great bargains to get you started with your piercings.
I've recommended them to all my friends and I will buy from them again anytime!
I'm very surprised (and slightly suspicious) to see any positive ratings for bodyjewelleryshop.com, as I found them to be a terrible company.
I was emailed to say that the 'sacred heart pendant' that I had purchased was not in stock and would take around 10 days to arrive (I have since read many other reviews that note the same problem - so I wonder what they actually DO have in stock). It finally arrived, and was nowhere near as nice as it appeared on the site, it was also badly finished and had sharp points that could prove to be very uncomfortable for the wearer.
I followed their returns procedure and sent the pendant back. I received an email to tell me that the pendant had arrived and that I would be issued a refund within 30 days, minus a £1 processing fee!!!! Anyone that is familiar with the DSRs should know that this is not allowed. They claimed that it was for 'bank charges' that they incur, but since I paid through Paypal, this was completely irrelevant. Some people may think that it is only £1, but most of their stock is fairly cheap, and imagine £1 kept for every buyer that returns an item and can't be bothered to chase up the money ... it can add up to a nice amount.
They didn't reply to any of my emails; their phone manner was, in my opinion, unprofessional; and I never received my money back from them. I had to open a Paypal dispute, which I obviously won (I made sure that I received the FULL amount back) but I still lost out on the return postage.
All-in-all it was probably the worst experience I have had as a buyer online, and I strongly advise people to shop elsewhere, or at the very least make sure that you use Paypal so that you have some level of protection!!!
I was at first impressed by such a huge product range available so thought I would take advantage and buy a few items.
The order process was great, but shortly after ordering I received an email saying the items I ordered are out of stock and the order will be shipped once all items have arrived in 10 days. It would have been nice to know that the items I was ordering were out of stock., I now understand why their product range is so vast... because most of it isn't actually in stock yet they still sell it.
I ordered hoping that the order would arrive within a week for a special occasion but because of the out of stock items the order wouldn't arrive until after the date needed, so I emailed customer support asking if they could send the rest of the items straight away and I will pay for additional postage... but I never received a reply. I have now emailed 3 times and tried to call numerous times (the phone is always engaged).
I guess I will just have to buy elsewhere that will be able to send me my items in a reasonable amount of time and just have extra's once bodyjewelleryshop decide to send me my order.
fantastic service, delivery was super fast, and the quality of you products are amazing. Some bars make my tongue swell up really badly, but since I bought my first set of bars from you 3 years ago (which have lasted all that time) I have had no problems, your products are so comfy to wear, I hardly know I’m wearing them! Thank you so much for letting me enjoy my piercings!!
I was mailed the wrong pair of earrings so I had to mail them back. I paid for the shipping fee which they promised to return but DID NOT. I've emailed them 3 times about this issue and have not received a response. Also, they discontinued a product I ordered and charged me for it. I had email them 4-5 times for this problem until I received a refund.
I've ordered from bodyjewelleryshop once so far, and so far have found an excellent service with order received next day, although they did have a cut off point so I had to call up to make sure my order was being sent out the same day. The lady on the phone was kind enough to make sure my order went through even though I had just missed the cut off point! :) I give them 5 stars because of that customer service, and the jewellery on their website is a really good selection I thought. I haven't joined the forums yet but have had a browse and it seems they have a really nice community, but have yet to find out more about that. Fully recommend them from what I have had so far...
I ordered several new nose rings and studs on a Sunday (with a bank holiday Monday the following day), the items arrived on Friday so while not ultra quick it was quick enough. I've ordered through them a few times now and they have a decent selection (although this could be better) and decent prices. I'd like to see a wider variety of nose jewellery targeted for the male Rock Star!
